    ** relieve fuel pressure at the rail before attempting this repair***
    **dry and spilled fuel before continuing work or starting the vehicle**
    **disconnect the battery before beginning this repair***
    ** you can use a flair nut wrench to remove the flair nut rather than using crescent wrenches. This is the correct way to prevent damage. If you use crescent wrenches or 22mm wrenches the. Take your time. Use on blaster.***
    **If your flair nut falls down the hardline, jack up the front end. Use jack stands, remove passenger tire and work the flair nut back up the hardline, kinda like that old game that use to be in the doctors office waiting room. Don’t ask me how I know this…..**
    Tools used
    10mm and 8mm with 3/8 drive ratchet
    2 medium sized crescent wrenches
    4mm Allen key
    Pb blaster
    Rags

    Use a zip tie so the flare nut doesn’t slide down the fuel line

    How do you know that regulator was bad??

      @@elpantera92 if fuel is being sucked into the vacuum line, then the diaphragm in the regulator has gone bad.
      For this truck I am over hauling most of the fuel system anyways as it’s 25 years old. If you are having issues with fuel pressure you need to inspect your pump and filter and related lines. As well.
