Really good review and detailed insight on sattvic philosophy. Need to appreciate the iskcon foundation for the initiative. Nevertheless, according to the real sattvic definition fried foods, potatoes, eggplant and chillies are rajasic, but not considered sattvic. Also, dairy products obtained from the milk of a cow only after feeding its calf is considered sattvic. It is interesting that the restaurant name these foods still sattvic.
ISKCON what ever do, involves sound knowledge of the Product and present . God's Own Cuisine is Justified. Mr. Kirpal is master in tasting and presenting . 👌👍✌️🌞🙏
This restaurant is near to my home and I have been to this place quite a number of times. I feel you should just try it at least once. Satvik food is not really alien to me, but I was curious about how would they do it. This was informative.
I'm born and broughtup in Bangalore, visited Iskon n number of times residing close in IISc married to a kongunadu person and now setteled in US for last 13 years feel the food and loved the temple visit. Thank you for this beautiful and different food video. There is another restuarnt in Sadashivnagar too called Sattvam offering the satvik food, please do the show if you get a chance in this new variation.
I think over marketing of Satvik food is not good for well being of the country. In Ayurveda food is divided between Satvik, Rajasik and Tamasik for some reason. Satvik food is not for everyone and there is no higher and lower food. We should eat food according to the profession we do...a satvik food is not recommended for manual labourers..
No onion garlic , its obvious they have to use cashews cream etc to maintain richness taste in gravy so to enhance taste. So it's prices r high. But once in life we can manage to taste those scrumptious food 😋😋😋😋😍😍😍

One of the great episode in your channel

We always have there if we have vegetarian in mind we go there best place in Bangalore for veg food
Very true . My granny always said that. You are what you eat.
So you’re a Hilsa fish.
What do you mean?
😆
I think over marketing of Satvik food is not good for well being of the country. In Ayurveda food is divided between Satvik, Rajasik and Tamasik for some reason. Satvik food is not for everyone and there is no higher and lower food. We should eat food according to the profession we do...a satvik food is not recommended for manual labourers..
No onion garlic , its obvious they have to use cashews cream etc to maintain richness taste in gravy so to enhance taste. So it's prices r high. But once in life we can manage to taste those scrumptious food 😋😋😋😋😍😍😍
Once you begin to eat such food you will not miss having onion or garlic.
Mouth watering yum yum 😋 Hare Krishna

Greetings from Mumbai. This episode was definately the best I have seen on FLT in a while. Just loved it and got my parents who are 80+ years also to watch it.
May I earnestly request you to put up the recipe of the Tomato BetelLeaf Rice as that looked so different and one doesn’t get anything close to this in Mumbai.
Looking forward to your help in this.
