Daredevil was always a mess. He is IN NO WAY believable as a blind person. Foggy Nelson is aman with the head of a boy. There are so many things wrong with the show.
Have you ever seen a show where a protagonist doesn't want to be held accountable for her actions, so she literally stops the show and forces the writers to rewrite the show so she gets all the cookies and also letcures the audience what they should and shouldn't like, and later states that everyone should be held accountable for their actions? That's what She-Hulk is.

@@whaleping it's not female characters, it's how they write them. female characters CAN be just as good as male. problem is now days they write them 100% of the time as self inserts for the writing team. they are always smug, bitchy genuinely AWFUL people. usually involving a scene where a white guy smiles at her and she beats him up for it. while at the same time those are portrayed as positives rather than flaws. they don't have any flaws, and everyone they meet loves them and becomes borderline obsessed. they are always the strongest, most powerful person imaginable and are never at any point in any actual peril or danger. then every white male character, even pre-established ones like daredevil are written dumber, sleazier, more incompetent and usually with a hint of racism, all to make the female characters look better by comparison. it's just bad writing and leads to an uninteresting show, not BECAUSE it's a female lead.
Thanos should have just done a complete reset of the universe in Infinity War the first time around instead of snapping half of all life away, he could have actually saved us from this.

He's made quips in life or death battles with the Kingpin so why wouldn't he in a goofy battle with She-Hulk? If there was ever a time for Netflix's Daredevil to make a quip, it was in this show.

I'm glad I didn't watch She-Hulk. Daredevil was an incredibly good series, and while I could have happily watched another season, one of the rules of showbiz is "Always leave them wanting more." It was never gonna go on forever, but it ended while it was still good. Shame we can't say the same about the MCU as a whole.

I loved the part of the Netflix series where he meets up with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand to unofficially form the Defenders in another series for Netflix. ...😂 gtfo here with that "always wanting more" bs. In this case, Daredevil IS also funny and light-hearted when he wants to in the comics. It's literally just a different point in his life, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with in interpretation of Daredevil by the writers because he acts like that in the primary source material.
So She-Hulk assassinated Bruce, Wong, Blonsky and even Daredevil wasn’t safe as his only purpose in the MCU now is being Jen’s boy toy. Hell even Jen herself was done dirty as the comic version wasn’t even close to being this narcissistic brat of a character, she was actually a well-liked character before this trash.

But she's a likable, heroic, and empathetic character who takes responsibility for her actions in most of the Earth 616 Marvel comics and their adaptations. She also treats Bruce Banner/Hulk eith respect and has a generally good cousin relationship with him.
A friend of mine put it like this: removing Catholism and guilt from Daredevil is like removing responsibility from Spiderman. Funny, disney makes sure we know Ms. Marvel is Muslim and Moonknight is Jewish (which should have been explored more) but wont advertise Matt being Christian. Go figure. That would have been 3 for 3. They don't really care about representation of different people or religions. The prelude to this was hulk saying Cap uncharacteristically had sex with a showgirl in the 40's. Apparently, Jon Bernthal is "returning" in The Punisher role, alhtough it's an alleged obscure claim from some other actress(Rosario Dawson, I think she played Claire in the Marvel NF shows). Now, I remember Jon explicitly stating that if he'd ever played the character agan, it would have to be in the right setting, that the character needs a level of darkness and a mature setting. Rewrites reality to escape the punishment, remove powers from a villain and get her job back (but doesn't ask anything else, like world peace or no cancer...), also to make Matt Murdock her sex toy.

60s daredevil was more light hearted, but definitely was nothing like what Mark Waids shit characterization was trying to gaslight people thinking thats how DD originally was is egregious. Anyway its amazing how quickly the MCU did a triple flip right into the same pile of shit that the modern Marvel comics are currently wading in. Truly impressive.

Ive been saying this ever since I saw moonknight they literally for the life of them cant do dark stories or characters, they took a street level dark hero and made him into a a very generic mcu indiana jones adventure with a talking hippo. The mcu just cant tell character focused stories anymore I think the only reason spiderman was what it was, was because it was 2 companies working together to make it. I feel like Kevin doesn't even see these people as characters anymore with personalities its just another costume to fill the roaster for the next team up, everyone is the same character now, She hulk is like beloved in the comics and then they just made her a big green lady in the show no character just big green lady, falcon and the winter solider was half assed racial messages about noting, they just pointed out racism exist that was it and they didnt focus at all on the legacy steve rodgers left behind and the monumental task of living up to that. The mcu is just bad man really just garbage now when i think back to the first avengers they all had separate goals and personalities and the coolest thing of that team up was seeing how all their separate personalities would meld together, but now adays they are all the same exact person all sarcastic jokesters. Black panther is just a black woman now, ive been waiting since I was a child to see T'chalia on the big screen and get his stories but I guess since he is black just replace him with another black person, they would never do that shit to spiderman.
That’s why Phase 1 will always be peak MCU to me. I miss when these movies were being distributed by Paramount and given a lot more creative freedom and self-containment. Unfortunately the films (side for Ironman 1 and Avengers) are really underrated.

I am SO glad I didn't watch She-Hulk. The Netflix Daredevil show was awesome and deserved at least two-three more seasons instead of getting canceled and subsequently shat on by Marvel
You using the Godfather Part lll Michael Corleone scene really makes sense, and that applies to me as well. This also brings up a good question, how is Matt Murdock able to practice law or represent a client if he is a NEW YORK lawyer?! He can't represent a client in Los Angeles, California unless he goes through California's judicial system months in advanced, plus he needs a recommendation from either a Californian law firm or the state judge AND he still has to have resided there for a whole year. He can't represent a client outside his state unless he has already gone through the whole process to be licensed to represent someone outside New York. Considering that She Hulk was being filmed in Los Angeles, California, and the premise is in California (with some scenes being filmed in Georgia), it should stand to reason that this show has to revolve around California's state laws, and to reiterate, Matt Murdock is a licensed New York lawyer. So because of this, Matt Murdock shouldn't even be in the show at all, unless there's some information that i'm missing here.
Remember, the writers for this shit show only write what they know. Seeing how these “characters” talk and act, I will be happy never wanting to meet those people for the rest of my life.
It's not just the fact that Matt Murdock slept with Jen Walter's after knowing her for a few scarce hours that makes them sleeping together so cringe ; it's also the fact that she literally tried to kill him earlier that evening - several times in the same fight - that makes his decision to sleep with her so irrational. Literally the only character I'm invested in 100% for the MCU is Spider-Man (I know that's not saying much). I would say I don’t want Steve to come back, but Chris Evans is just as woke as everyone at Disney and will undoubtedly come back to fuck over the character. At least RDJ is sane enough to know not to come back. That being said, Charlie cox might not be woke, but he was so eager to play the character again he probably had blinders onto the red flags warning him not to do it. I had also checked out of the MCU too late. I started falling off after Moon Knight. Didn't watch Ms. Marvel. Watched the first episode because of my dad, convinced him that I 'had' homework and he didn't ask me to watch any episode after that. And I'm glad I checked out. But I did watch Werewolf by Night. That's the last Disney product I'm going to ever watch.

The problem is they are ADAPTING another teams creative vision and porting it into their universe. Fine, but honor the original creators and stay tru to their vision. They didn’t. I’ve seen so many people cheer when the Deadpool 3 teaser came out and I’m sitting back laughing. Because these fools really believe it will be like the previous two films and that Wolverine will be like Logan. 😂 😂😂😂😂 I mean seriously, have they even seen what they’re farting out recently.
The thing is that people saw the team making it is pretty much the same as the previous two films and that they've been given, allegedly, a carte blanche. What they seem to have missed though, is that along with the team, the writing credits list has two writers that have no writing experience except for a seemingly mediocre animation show and some god awful talk show. Given the track record of Disney "empowering" less known writers....I fear for what it might come to. They're also the primary names in imdB, although I don't know if that means much. DP2 was weaker than DP1 already, though it retained the flair of the character. I just hope DP3 keeps the dumb and crigne jokes and doesn't replace them with "THE MESSAGE". They have a huge opportunity, but I'm 70% sure they're going to fuck it up if someone doesn't put the foot in the door and says "ENOUGH".

problem is now days they write them 100% of the time as self inserts for the writing team. they are always smug, bitchy genuinely AWFUL people. usually involving a scene where a white guy smiles at her and she beats him up for it. while at the same time those are portrayed as positives rather than flaws. they don't have any flaws, and everyone they meet loves them and becomes borderline obsessed. they are always the strongest, most powerful person imaginable and are never at any point in any actual peril or danger. then every white male character, even pre-established ones like daredevil are written dumber, sleazier, more incompetent and usually with a hint of racism, all to make the female characters look better by comparison. it's just bad writing and leads to an uninteresting show, not BECAUSE it's a female lead.

It was never gonna go on forever, but it ended while it was still good.

Rewrites reality to escape the punishment, remove powers from a villain and get her job back (but doesn't ask anything else, like world peace or no cancer...), also to make Matt Murdock her sex toy.

Ive been saying this ever since I saw moonknight they literally for the life of them cant do dark stories or characters, they took a street level dark hero and made him into a a very generic mcu indiana jones adventure with a talking hippo. The mcu just cant tell character focused stories anymore I think the only reason spiderman was what it was, was because it was 2 companies working together to make it. I feel like Kevin doesn't even see these people as characters anymore with personalities its just another costume to fill the roaster for the next team up, everyone is the same character now, She hulk is like beloved in the comics and then they just made her a big green lady in the show no character just big green lady, falcon and the winter solider was half assed racial messages about noting, they just pointed out racism exist that was it and they didnt focus at all on the legacy steve rodgers left behind and the monumental task of living up to that. The mcu is just bad man really just garbage now when i think back to the first avengers they all had separate goals and personalities and the coolest thing of that team up was seeing how all their separate personalities would meld together, but now adays they are all the same exact person all sarcastic jokesters. Black panther is just a black woman now, ive been waiting since I was a child to see T'chalia on the big screen and get his stories but I guess since he is black just replace him with another black person, they would never do that shit to spiderman.
That’s why Phase 1 will always be peak MCU to me. I miss when these movies were being distributed by Paramount and given a lot more creative freedom and self-containment. Unfortunately the films (side for Ironman 1 and Avengers) are really underrated.
All it takes is a few quick references to what came before and people will automatically scream to say it’s the best thing ever and “Oh my god they respected the source material! This also brings up a good question, how is Matt Murdock able to practice law or represent a client if he is a NEW YORK lawyer?! He can't represent a client in Los Angeles, California unless he goes through California's judicial system months in advanced, plus he needs a recommendation from either a Californian law firm or the state judge AND he still has to have resided there for a whole year. He can't represent a client outside his state unless he has already gone through the whole process to be licensed to represent someone outside New York.
Considering that She Hulk was being filmed in Los Angeles, California, and the premise is in California (with some scenes being filmed in Georgia), it should stand to reason that this show has to revolve around California's state laws, and to reiterate, Matt Murdock is a licensed New York lawyer. So because of this, Matt Murdock shouldn't even be in the show at all, unless there's some information that i'm missing here.
Remember, the writers for this shit show only write what they know. Seeing how these “characters” talk and act, I will be happy never wanting to meet those people for the rest of my life.

I had also checked out of the MCU too late. I started falling off after Moon Knight. Didn't watch Ms. Marvel. Watched the first episode because of my dad, convinced him that I 'had' homework and he didn't ask me to watch any episode after that. And I'm glad I checked out. But I did watch Werewolf by Night. That's the last Disney product I'm going to ever watch.

This is honest to god the most unnecessarily dramatic topic I’ve ever seen about Daredevil in this show. If anything, they actually did their best to keep him in character while making additions. Is this show or Daredevil’s appearance perfect? As a fan of this, I can say that both aren’t perfect. You can think this show’s bad, that’s fine, and an entirely different debate. As for Daredevil, let me tell you something really quick, if you think that the MCU ruined him, then you’re honestly beyond wrong. Things can be different, people don’t seem to mind having different Spider-Men, or Thor making damns jokes, but there’s a problem with Daredevil’s appearance in this show? I’m not gonna remain subscribed to someone that got so easily affected by his mere existence in this show. The problem is they are ADAPTING another teams creative vision and porting it into their universe. Fine, but honor the original creators and stay tru to their vision. They didn’t. I didn't want to see a recasted Daredevil either, but I expected him to be used in scenarios that fit the R rating of the Netflix series, not in a rom com skit. I’ve seen so many people cheer when the Deadpool 3 teaser came out and I’m sitting back laughing. Because these fools really believe it will be like the previous two films and that Wolverine will be like Logan. 😂 😂😂😂😂 I mean seriously, have they even seen what they’re farting out recently.
The thing is that people saw the team making it is pretty much the same as the previous two films and that they've been given, allegedly, a carte blanche. What they seem to have missed though, is that along with the team, the writing credits list has two writers that have no writing experience except for a seemingly mediocre animation show and some god awful talk show.
Given the track record of Disney "empowering" less known writers....I fear for what it might come to. They're also the primary names in imdB, although I don't know if that means much.
DP2 was weaker than DP1 already, though it retained the flair of the character. I just hope DP3 keeps the dumb and crigne jokes and doesn't replace them with "THE MESSAGE".
They have a huge opportunity, but I'm 70% sure they're going to fuck it up if someone doesn't put the foot in the door and says "ENOUGH".

Daredevil was always a mess. He is IN NO WAY believable as a blind person. Foggy Nelson is aman with the head of a boy. There are so many things wrong with the show.

Completely disfigured my man’s Matt with a pencil and pen. All those years of late night binging daredevil and all the defenders just to build a more connection with the heroes for hire characters. Only for Disney to rip the best character into shreds in a few episodes.
