I really think a draft mode would be really good for this game .. Which gives a fresh perspective and players try out new cards.
A banned mode would be nice too like both player banned 2 card then build they deck
I think a draft mode would be awesome. Maybe do like, 500 gold for a draft.

I think if they added a draft mode to conquest it could spice things up a little, plus the new players would get a chance to play cards they don't have in their decks yet.
I appreciate you. I just got into the game so I've quite enjoyed watching your back catalogue of videos involving new deck types and builds. It's so hard for me to get creative with limited number of series 3 cards, much less 4 and 5.
Lately I‘ve been encountering that much Hela, that I tried smth to hard counter it.
It was a Black Swan deck with the strongest 1drops, Ravonna, Prof X, Mystique, Iron Man and Havok.
The plan was to play Ravonna on 2, Black Swan on 3, then on 4 block a lane with a discounted Prof X + 1drops, then follow up with Mystique, blocking another lane… you get it.
Worked half decent against Hela but the draw pattern I needed was very specific and it fell off without Ravonna on 2.
of course I then stopped seeing Hela and ran into destroy like 8 out of 10 games.
Never had that much trouble climbing. I usually reach infinite within 3 or 4 days after the season starts. Don’t know what’s with the game right now. Everyone is just retreating for 1 cube, didn’t see a single bot so far, it sucks. I just want to reach infinite and be done with this season, hoping the meta changes after the beginning of next season.
I’ve been stuck at 97 for 3-4 days and now barely made it to 98. Still, I‘m at the point where I‘m asking myself if it’s worth enduring this game.
I might stop playing it when Final Fantasy VII Rebirth comes out this Friday, even though I‘m nearly collection complete (missing only Hercules and Miek) and have 90k tokens and 58k Gold banked. I‘m THAT annoyed by the game, the devs and the playerbase.
The only saving grace have been idiots who play IW, then Modok on 5 behind it and snap you when you‘re playing a lockdown deck. 8-cube-donations from this kind of players are the only reason I‘m still slooooowly climbing by 1/2-1 rank per day.
How the hell did you spend enough money to get that much gold and tokens and are really mad about people retreating in the 90s. 98 to infinite is ez stop crying. And how did you not get herc and meik to get complete lmao
I feel like the meta has been improving, im around rank 90 and I've been seeing wide variations of decks.
Really? All I've seen the past week or so is Discard and Destroy, which is good, because I prefer the meta to be predictable. Finally made it to Infinite after slotting in some tech cards like Armor, Cosmo and Echo.
I feel that. Had been playing a Hela deck WITHOUT Lockjaw, Jubilee, Invisible Woman, LT. Success up to Galactic (I’m a conservative snapper), and won an Infinity Conquest. Now that Corvus is out, everyone’s jumping on Hela like she was only just released.
I hear a lot of people saying they don’t have time to deck build, they look up whatever’s winning, and just copy that.
I’m all for creative deck building though, even with the little time I have
To improve the game: not nerf good cards, buff the ones that are bad

I don’t like spending a ton of time daily on a game cuz there’s important family time and dates and special occasions and work and things of life that I get occupied with so I can’t spend as much time as I’d like to spend each season to get all the rewards every time, so for players like me with families and other things that make us busy, less time having to spend in game is much better so I’m much happier with this meta, maybe Marvel Snap should make an outlet/feature that would help other players that like creating decks like content creators like another ranked system that’s no rewards just the glory of being the best and has like card bans or draft of four decks and best of four games and tie breaker you choose one of your decks again.
They can make a 2nd rank play where you can only select a set of cards each time you play like example random 25 cards and you select 12 cards from those and play against another player who selected 12 cards from a random pool of 25
A game mode based on drafting cards will be very beneficial. It will also allow cards that are ubderplayed to be used
Thanks for the video and the deck. In regards to the meta: "You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."
If there aren't many changes, the meta is stale and boring. If there are too many changes, the meta is chaotic and difficult. It's hard to balance, and I don't envy the game developers that have to try to do so; no matter what they do or don't do, some people are going to be loudly upset with them.
I also love being creative and try to come up with my own decks, I still play a few of them but when I have a losing streak, and that's very frequent, I pull one of the meta decks and get the cubes back, I've been playing this junk deck and it's really consistent.
i think the best way to mix up and force everyone not to rely on the meta too much is "BAN and PICK" before matches. this way players need to have atleast 2 set of deck theme to make sure their deck have winning chance in case their key cards get banned

I'm actually playing an off meta deck that feels pretty reasonable into the best decks, and that I'm having a ton of success with. It's just and X-Attuma control with Skaar:
(1) The Hood
(1) Spider-Ham
(1) Nico Minoru
(1) Zero
(2) Zabu
(3) Cosmo
(4) Attuma
(4) Cull Obsidian
(4) Sentry
(5) Professor X
(5) Annihilus
(6) Skaar
The deck is pretty straightforward: your goal is to limit your opponent's plays while putting a ton of power on board. You have a pretty good matchup against Hela because of your X and Cosmo; sometimes even just the Annihilus package makes you win against Hela. Thanos is more of a 50/50 but still pretty reasonable: Cosmo really hurts their deck and the Anni package is very good into Thanos. The card that steals the most cubes by far is Skaar. They just don't expect the power dump most of the times: I had games in which I dropped Cull + a 2 energy Skaar + Demo, which is quite impressive

Im a little bit like yourself Molt, hit infinite after a few days into the new season and just havent been interested since, not even for the new cards. Regardless of the deck i play its the same old 4-5 decks on ladder or in conquest and it gets old fast. The only time i seemingly had fun was in the proving grounds where i could just play throw away games with whatever deck i wanted.
Literally the last time I smiled playing this game was when beta ray bill was released. I haven’t actually “enjoyed” the game since then. So for the last few weeks when I’ve been playing it’s more for completing the missions than it is for my enjoyment
Try out a Deadpool phoenix force deck, it has been a lot of fun
I’ve also asked in the discord about a Test Mode, to which Glen responded, PG serves that purpose for now. Unfortunately you have to endure being stomped by tier 1 lists there, and I’m sure players get sick of being on the receiving end of that, so we all end up playing 2 or 3 of the top lists and that’s it
I think with all the lockjaw in hela and thanos (2 of the best decks currently) he could be changed in a cool way that you can only swap out a card with an equal or lower cost card, high rolling a 1 cost stone to a 6 cost feels unfair, just straight-up. What are your guys' thoughts?
main reason why i am not enjoying the game atm is the lack of deck creation and just playing against the same Hela, Thanos or destroy decks over and over again
Try Butt’s crazy profX / havok deck maybe? That’s a new brew that plays very weird lines and wins
I made a "FUN" move deck i think is really cool cause you can get nice power and moves nice 7u7 but it does not have counters so is really easy to beat 😅 like you can just have more power with destroy decks, or use shan chi, shadow king, killmonger etc. But is fun regardless 😂❤
how about daily missions needing to use specific cards? or limitations? or conquests with specific rules? stuff like using only Series 1 to 3 cards only, win matches with 6 series 1 cards in your deck, weird stuff like that
Start a conquest with a certain number of decks and play with a random one everytime... so many things that can be done where you need to be creative
Is shadow king even important anymore given most cards are ongoing and are unaffected by SK? I just never play it given it’s always Darkhawk or Devil Dinosaur which are unaffected
I would say switch in Echo for more control

I've been screaming about draft mode, but I believe the developers said that a draft mode won't happen so we'll just continually see the same boring decks over and over again.
I still believe that there is room for creativity, but that room right now is small with the types of cards that have been releasing. I don't know what they want the meta to be, because they say things and do the exact opposite of what they're going for.
I think card customisation would be cool. Choosing backgrounds, choosing a variant of the character (different positions etc) even if it’s a separate app, just to have more tools and free form

The first 3 mins of this video baffle me. You are officially the only creator I know that has these complaints. But this is always a theme with you. If I wanna hear some complaints/grips of the game I just gotta tune into you. If I wanna see great content and unique gameplay with a more positive attitude then I tune into anyone else.

Zabu has no business being the most popular card anyways.
Disagree that the game was better around 6 months ago, to me it was the opposite: everybody was playing High Evo and Galactus non stop, it was insufferable. Then there was Loki and Elsa, which were unbeatable when they released, and Ms. Marvel was making every single deck. There's a lot more decks you can win with now than before, but maybe those are just not archetypes you like. Discard has like 3 different shells (one even uses Agatha!), Destroy too, Tribunal is very good right now, Annihilus too, She Naut is still good, Thanos is the best deck stats wise, Beta Ray Bill is good, and so on. Plenty of options

We definetely need a fresh new game mode, maybe something similar to heartstones arena. Conquest right now is just pointless, the rewards and the queue time are just a joke.
I have played discard Hela and Lockjaw deck since day one. the rpg is just fun. Loki too. U never know what Lockjaw will pull or wher Hela will put the respawns. Big wins and crazy loses. But always fun. Now that shes finally getting her recognition because of the new cards now people want her nerfed. Yet Destroy decks have been meta since day one. And they have had the most buffs or the least nerfs. I tried ro olay it and it has to be the most boring deck. But the players never complained when every 3 games was a destroy. Leave my baby Hela alone and let her shine. Finally.

I believe that series MMR should be an option. If players have 2 or more series 5 cards in their deck, then that should be who they match ip against. Or a limited series mode, meaning its split so that decks can only consist of 1-3 series cards, and if you have a series 4, you can only play one Series 5. Something to help With Match making that doesn't always seem like your opponent just happens to be playing the out because their wallet/ Collectors level ia bigger than yours
There are several things that definitely need to change.
Economy: This game is not designed for F2P players (mind you, I'm not a F2P player). The way everything centers around the newest cards, which are all but impossible to acquire for F2P players, really turns off a huge chunk of players, making bots a necessity.
Bots: These need to go away, especially the "cheating ones". It is evident that some of these bots are designed to push players down the ranks. More than once, I have seen these bots play cards that have no business being in the same deck, but somehow counter my deck perfectly. And Don get me started on Conquest's matching system.
QoL: The UI for choosing" building deck is just awkward. I mean, they finally fix the bug where the selection screen wouldn't default to your current deck if you recently changed it, but still, building a deck on the collection screen, and then having to go to the selection screen from the home screen to equip it is just stupid.
I don't know. The game, although it's been out for more than a year, still feels like a beta version. It's buggy and definitely not balanced, regardless of all the OTAs they throw our way.

The real problem is 95% of player cant make they own deck and just copy META deck and thats why we see the same 3 ish deck all day long. Remove untapped and yt and i doubt i would face the same exact destroy deck or junk deck for 20 straight game

40% of cards are trash, another 40% are useless, and 20% of cards are top tier that you must be stupid to not play. There is 0% chance for of meta decks to appear.

First: the game has been out for well over a year but we dont have clans or teams yet. Why? Forming a super hero team and having "raid" style bosses would be something new to the game and keep players more involved.
Second: SD needs to keep to their words. I.E. series drops like the promised. Keeping so many cards as S4/S5 just gate keeps anyone who took a break or is just starting to play.
Third: Not addressing some of the toxic, non-interactive decks or cards like Hela, who has made the game so unfun I'm taking another break from the game. Last time this happened was when Loki came out and they didn't do much to tone him down. Time before that was Galactus.
Fourth: Some kind of draft mode to allow players to use cards they don't have in a contained environment.
For you're second point they've said they're not doing series drop for awhile because the current system(spotlight caches) isn't really built for it
Molt. I agree the game is getting boring. Maybe they should nerf a few cards back to where they were (elsa as an example). The collector reserves need to be better. 100 collector tokens is a slap in the face when all the cards are 6k. I don’t want anymore text sayings. Why not on the weekends double the credits/tokens/boosters you get for playing games. Get certain perks if you win 1,3,5 in a row. Reward other tokens. I know you love move so if you use a move deck you get extra credits/boosters for a time period. Instead of hot locations, make hot cards (3 per day) that gain credits/gold. This will help f2p players stay engaged. The game is very boring and repetitive.

Conquest mode. Make it 3 rounds. I finally gave it a try after finally hitting Infinite and it boring. Inplayed way to many people to 5th and 6th rounds because they refuse to snap. The same player and deck for 6 rounds and thats only the first teolir of gold? No thanks. Best of 3. Period
