I took this list, which is very similar to one i had been homebrewing earlier this month the second Mr. Negative became viable. I immediately went from 94 to Infinite after struggling greatly with this volatile meta. When this deck wins, it's extremely convincing. I only watched your gameplay after laddering with it myself. We found the same things I'd say. I hadn't thought about Jane pulling rocks from the deck. Excellent video, Cozy.

Played a negative surfer deck back when surfer was 3/0, and that’s where I fell in love with both cards and respective archetypes. Now I mostly play negative in a destroy list with magik and psylocke. That way, if I don’t draw negative, it’s still a good destroy deck that I can cheat out the knull-zola play with psylocke on 4, or even iron man-zola, or just good ol dependable venom-zola.
Thanks for showing my man Mr Negative some love. Although I, for one, don’t appreciate the psylocke shade you’re throwin lol XD I’ve played her in so many decks, I have two ink splits and one gold foil, and still have like 16-1700 boosters for her. She’s great, and underrated. One of my most used cards. To each their own I guess lol.

I use to play Spectrum on 6 with this deck, with 4 or 5 ongoing cards in your side, its a great addition.

This is the first season I’ve really played a Negative deck and man, does it steal some 8 cubers. When it pops off, it’s a thing to behold.
Negative is with Surfer and Destroy my most played deck type.
Last season I played this negativ wakanda deck (tiny bit different). Managed to farm tons of infinite tickets with it but didn't managed the infinite run... Always bad luck in the last round especially with the locations.
I also try at the moment a Negative Darkhawk deck, it's also okay. The output when negative isn't as hight as with this deck BUT without Mr Negative you can win with Darkhawk into Mystique sometimes.
But it's as you said... Pull one of your ramp cards into Negative in three. Win. Not always but... It's hard not to lose.
Mr Negative decks teach you well when to snap and when to leave a game.
Found another flex tech option. You would be surprised. Loki. You got Zabu and sometimes youre not just drawing Mr Negative.

I love Negative decks, but I never get him on curve.

everytime you put out a tweaked negative deck, i give it a try, and every time I tilt so hard due to simply starting hand. If you don't get the right cards in your hand and FFS negative. I retreat turn 2. I did put some effort into this one because i enjoy the concept of it but ten ranks 8 cuber mostly due to starting with alioth and zola, or managing to get negative with zabu and ravonna, hitting the trigger, then pulling jane at 6 cost and never seeing alioth. I tried throwing in Adam warlock, nico, and even iron lad but nothing worked and i got wrecked.
Tilted tonight, rest up because Martyr will surely be the next best card!
I'm looking forward to trying this. I like Mr. Negative and he's been on the down lately

Best sub for Ravona? I have all the other cards. Is Killmonger and Rogue better than one of them and Taskmaster?
Psylocke for Ravonna. I ran Rogue a while when Mobius was first big, but she was a wasted slot way too often. Killmonger for current clutter meta, then Darkhawk or Super Skrull probably next best, or Jubilee for draw consistency. Unless you're dropping knull against a big destroy deck or just split panther, Taskmaster isn't as impactful as other options.

I think Jane Foster is the biggest trap for negative. If you get the dream combo and you play her on 5 every single good player is leaving, netting you 2 cubes usually. It's one more card that is bad when flipped and gives your opponent a lot of infos when played (they see how many cards you draw), so it just ends up decreasing your cube rate
Exactly ! This is why I think Negative decks will never be good for competitive modes.
They are too scary for the opponent as well as predictable.
I just play without Jan Foster. You still get 2-4 switched draws but your opponent has no clue what it is. Just drawing a couple great switched cards can usually net you the win, without going over the top or being too predictable
The game who made this deck only put in Jane because (high level) loki players always think they can win

Cozy plays this deck he kicks ass. I play it and every 0 power card ends up in my hand the first 3 turns every game.
Now I know why I never get the ramp + Mr Negative in time when I play a deck like this. Cozy has been taking all the luck in the world to get the perfect draws and leaving nothing for the rest of us!

Gotta admit guys, started playing this deck after I saw the video. Was struggling between 400-600 on ladder most of the season and now im close to top200 after playing it. Ppl just never expect what you have for them last turn. Other than that you always know when to leave it on 1cube or snap at the beginning of the game. Easy cube stealing for sure! 12 games in a row, drew Mr Negative before turn 5 exactly one time
Every time I see one of these Negative videos I decide to give it a try. Ya know, maybe it'll work out for me this time! I then proceed to lose at least five matches in a row for not having a single ramp card OR Negative by turn 4. I don't get how this works out for people.
Mister Negative should read: when hes in ur hand, reveal a location to discard him. when hes in ur deck, u never draw him
