- Arishem recently came out and the deck has been taking over ladder and conquest! Marvel Snaps newest card might be popular for now, and sentiment seems still positive, but I'm worried soon it'll be seen as a problem. I think that there's still time to find counters and what not, but it seems SUPER STRONG so far! I wanted to feature a deck without Loki, even though he is a great way to mulligan away your bad RNG in favor of your opponents cards!
I know a lot of the builds with Loki will probably start being everywhere, and I think that the problem with Arishem decks in the future may ultimately just be Loki.

i don't think the card is too op, it's definitely fun and innovative but after all the hype is gone we need to see if it's actually competitive or not, i just hope they won't nerf it so soon
it is basically op with loki all other decks are at a disadvantage against it since you can run every counter in the game . i’ve been double shang chid and rogue and everything in between when i didn’t play him
@@rmelo2382it's not op at all I reached infinite off beating arishem players I played negative hawk hawk counters arishem and negative makes enemy Loki useless truthly arishem is everywhere because it's fun it's definitely not op at all it's a good conquest card tho

@@rmelo2382 Loki is the op one lol. He has always been op. People just forgot about it because hela and prof X (decks relatively strong against Loki) were so prevalent for so long.
In fact, you can remove Arishem and play just Loki with DH. You're going to win more.

I've been playing Alioth in my Arishem deck in conquest and he performs really well in the deck even without pegasus hot location.
Mystique and Rogue copying Blob's on-reveal is BS, they should just copy the On-Going effect which should just make them unmovable. I hope they will fix that sooner rather than later.
It might be harder to add that because currently mystique completely removes the og cards effect and gives it the ! icon, atm they don’t have any icons or status for a card to have just part of its ability removed.
@@Thebiggestgordon I agree that the "silenced" icon is a problem that SD would have to figure out but the main issue is not the UI but the fact that Rogue and Mystique are able to repeat an On-Reveal effect while their text is clearly mentioning that they are copying/stealing the On-Going ability. Just like Absorbing Man should not copy the On-Going Ability but only repeat the On-Reveal effect.
I'd rather see a silenced card having his on-reveal effect repeated than this bug that everybody is exploiting right now...
SD may change that encounter but it’s not a bug. Although mystique and rouge mention ongoing, the effect they do is steal the text which literally means all of the text on the target card.
@@paydayjay717 Yes, I should have said that I hope they will "modify" their texts, not "fix" them since it's not a bug indeed, just a bad formulation. It's the same for Absorbing Man copying On-Going effect by the way, even if it's less of an issue right now, it could still be one with future cards.
I still think the way they are working now was not intended, they made their text when there was no cards with both OG and OR abilities so it wasn't a problem back then. It is now and a little of back-testing before releasing cards would have prevented that.
I really hope they will modify it when they will update the game for the new "Activate" ability. Mostly for Mystique since the issues with Rogue and Absorbing Man are more circumstancial and less problematics.

Are the extra cards from Arishem can't be upgraded? because my Arishem already have blue border but the extra cards don't have it
I really like the new playstyle that Arishem brings to the game. However, they really gotta fix that double Blob interaction w Mystique and Rogue. Abs Man I understand because he copies the On Reveal text, but the 'On Reveal' and 'Ongoing' effects in Blob's text read as two separate abilities and should operate as such within every interaction consistency. If the On Reveal text is truly separate from the Ongoing text, then make Rogue/Mystique strictly immovable without the added power if used on him and Abs Man only having the added power but able to be moved if used on him. If the 2 texts are together, then make Blob's power go back down to zero if he gets Enchantress'd.
Not like someone's ever tried this, but if you Rogue or Mystique an Electro, will it activate the "+1 max energy" On Reveal text again?
8:45 I had a player use professorx and the card I played got pulled out by a location, I assume you can use a card like ghost spider to pull one out as well
Also, what would be a good replacement for Sersi? She’s the only card I don’t have in your list here
My biggest issue with arishem is that it's literally impossible to strategize. They could be holding any card in their hand, they might be able to counter any play just as likely as any other.
THANK YOU!! I got into with some dude on reddit who was like ooo stop depending on meta memorization and I'm like what? Reading /hard read counter is barely possible against this deck. especially in conquest. Go figure everyone's hitting infinite
What if both players could click on arishem to see which cards he’s added to the deck? That way he’s possible to play around

IMO a reasonable change to this card would be letting BOTH players click the card to see what he added to the deck, it’s a little bit of a nerf (needed) and lets the opponent play around it a little bit
i think the only way imo to nerf him is to nerf blob and maybe darkhawk. or like how you can mystique or absorbing man the blob
Yes the way Rogue, Absorbing and Mystique work is BS and need to be reworked.

@@Retromann1899 No, the problem is the previous change of Rogue, Mystique and Absorbing man in order to take both effects of the Thanos Stones. They need to be reverted or it will be an issue for all future cards that would have both On-Going and On-Reveal.

Yeah hes borderline OP due to the the advantage of not knowing what youre playing against 😅...conquest is all about learning and adjusting how the fook you gonna do that if their deck changes each game. Plus all the tech cards, fury/coulson which mitigate the randomness.

I don't have Arishem but something just feels off about the card idk. Somehow with a 24 card deck people always have the cards/answer they need.
@@JamesJohnsonQ If it is a card you need by turn 6 (say chi or blob) you have a 9/24 chance of drawing it. So a bit over 1/3. It's not that unlikely for it to happen, but it does feel frustrating when the oponent rolls well. I get you.
I didn't get Arishem yet and everyone is playing it... so I'm playing a clog darkhawk deck against it, which actually works pretty well so far

I think they eventually have to remove the 1 max mana on the card, it feels pointless to play anything that isnt Arishem or a deck that is targeting Arishem specifically currently. No matter how fun it is to play the card, it sucks facing it.
That's the worst change idea I have ever heard the extra energy is literally what makes him playable remove that and he's good as dead.

No? She does say copy the text of the last ongoing card played. Been that way for a year already, it was a buff made so she could copy Thanos stones draw on reveal back then. They made all the copy steal cards that way eventually. So Rogue and abs man work the same way (in absman's case, he becomes an ongoing as well)

In my opinion Blobb is the issue not Arishem.
Arishem decks are broken because of blobb cause it is like an insta win.

And i'm open for feedbacks to improve it. btw i dont remember when it was the last time i played so confident that i will win in conquest vs a deck. seems absurd see darkhawk in this deck with maximus and gladiator but i found myself playing him a lot vs arishem, and vs other decks you can hide them behind cosmo so he doesn't get smaller, but are great powerhouse for their costs. daredevil is key vs arishem cause your turn five is their turn six, so if you have priority you can cosmo, negasonic ecc... and even better if you have supergiant on 4. you can hide you darkhawk or ronan of even make a play mystike and maximus, and at 6 with darkhawk or ronan. so many creative plays. vs arishem a darkhawk + mistique is gg.

@@setoadhi9040 my thoughts exactly. The only way to nerf him is making more cards that counter him. Cassandra seems like a good candidate but she's more than a month away iirc. Nerfing Blob and Mocking Bird might do it though.

I know I'm in the minority but it's not fun when a card completely hijacks the meta. It actually feels like you're at a disadvantage if you're not playing Arishem decks which obviously makes you want to spend money on the game. Just look at the ladder and conquest stats so far for Arishem decks. I'm honestly taking a break until the meta stabilizes again
Is he actually that strong? I've been spamming him on both ladder and conquest, but since all i've been playin are mirrors or DH (for wich i have every single tech card available) i can't tell if he's strong or not.

One of the reason why i quit the game, at first it seems fine, but everytime they release the new card on the pass, the meta always play around that card, which is literally pay to win 😂
he's not shaking the meta because he's too good, he's doing it because he's too popular. you are definitely NOT in a disadvantage
Then it's fine. People will eventually go back to other decks once they've had their fun. That's what the card felt like to me. Surprisingly strong but not meta breaking. I have not played other decks this week so i was actually worried he IS meta breaking.
