Beautiful island. Those mountain roads remind me of our mountain roads here in the USA. Beautiful but dangerous. Enjoy. Looking forward to your journey through Italy.
Even though the micro camper clearly brings new challenges it was always going to be a different experience and I have really enjoyed seeing how you navigate challenges and find solutions that work well for you both. It's been a real treat to see such wildly different and beautiful places and it must offer a real change of pace being able to explore places you just couldn't see the same way in a bigger van. I am excited to see what Sardinia brings! Also much kudos to Janine navigating those steps not liking heights, I would have been so wobbly! Safe travels.
Go to an ironmongers and buy a roll of insect mesh and a pack of tablecloth weights. You could cover the car at night and still have your windows open but no mosquitoes. The weights are hugely popular in Europe as the attach to the ends and stop the wind blowing them away. The mesh is lightweight and won't take up room.
I’m loving the travel, and living in a car can be tough.. but if you have a system and don’t deviate from it, it works out.. anyway, those steps were my favourite part and well done janine for making the journey down and back up! I’m excited to see what happens
Never give up, there are good times and bad times in everyone’s life. Thank you for your videos, they helped me decide to go to north west India this may. Liam reminds me of James Blunt 😂
The best mosquito thing is Ozzie Mozzie from Australia. Little rechargeable usb lamps. Genius. I bought 3. In summer, in SA Australia, a godsend. It was not too expensive. Works absolutely brilliantly. I have one outside on my balcony, one in my bedroom at night. They charge for 9 hours approx. Order them, best ever. It was designed by a young Australian farmer. Enjoyed watching your adventures on Corsica. Janine.... maybe you're getting just a little bit of dehydration and motion sickness on the winding mountain roads? Perhaps you can find, or make, a smoothie with real ginger in it to help both those things?
They did explain before that they were both restricted by finances and also wanted to take the opportunity to visit places they wouldn't be able to in Morgan. They have managed to travel across India and the Camino de Santiago, they are very adaptable people but as content creators, they're not going to leave out the difficult bits x
They crossed India in a rickshaw for heaven's sake 😂 They can manage car camping. Plus they have so much more flexibility with a car than a large van which is literally the point.
Yes they did but were using it to travel not sleeping and living in it😃. They stayed in hotels and had beds and bathrooms. Such a big difference from Morgan to this.which is obviously not that comfortable is the message I am getting.
@@judeboardman4500 they are warriors, that's my point. But they're also perfectly capable of being honest and so far they've said they're loving it. Even if it only works for a short time, they're still experiencing a different kind of freedom to most of us.

Hi Guys, Corsica + car camping is begining to look like it's testing stamina levels a tad. Perhaps getting to where you últimately need to be for your next island hop and keep off those horrendous roads. No sleep + driving so intensely = stress and not such a good time plus as you said, "it's dangerous. " Why take the risk? Find somewhere safe and pleasant to park and have a duvet day. I absolutely love you two feel like I’ve been watching you forever but I feel like you are colliding from one vehicle disaster to the next, you have up your perfect white van because of Liams back, brought Morgan because it was more roomy.. then you paid massive money fixing the engine it was literally heartbreaking watching it all unfold.. then you went off to india…then you had Morgan fixed, then you decided to auction off Morgan, and when you brought that’s tiny car and had it converted to the tiniest camper and I actually helg my head in my hands and thought what the actual hell.. if the white van was to small… a tiny home was going to not work… I honestly hope luck is on your side at some point and you get sorted and you go back to that happier place with your perfect ride… big love to you both x
It's a bit tough, but you guys are experts and the good will outweigh the bad! All the gorgeous places, plus you have each other! Living in a house also has disadvantages: you can't deive it to Corsica!😂😅 For the mosquitos, they sell these nets you can put on the doors to be able to open the windows. I think you've got them, no? Is it doing the job? Nice video!🎉
I could feel your exhaustion and your elation after those steps! Maybe for Janine, it is just your body thats still adjusting to car camping, it’s not an easy option. I’ve got my mother hat on now, I hope you both are taking supplements B12 being a top priority! Looking forward to Sardinia video next week ❤ take good care of you both 🥰🙏🏻🏖️🐕🚘
Ticket bought for Morgan , once Morgan has been sorted you should defiantly get another van . Maybe a bit smaller so you can travel like you want . All the best
Just back from my road trip. Just watched your last month . Hope i can help CIGARETTE SOCKET. Fuse replacement is simple. J. Can do it. Small hands. 30A green. In place F9. Which should be nearest the door. Once you take the cover off. Sort of above your shins. If they didn't change position over the years. I had 2nd socket in boot area? You didnt fit your own redcote did so look at back drivers side as if looking in original boot. It was on the plastic like behind slot for seat belt. Can only think redcote seats etc are hiding it. If in france call at NORAUTO like our Halfords , fit windscreen wipers so would likely put a fuse in . Good luck xx
Sorry to hear you're not feeling 100%, sometimes too many mosquito bites can make me feel like that (I can recommend a good zapper if you like). You saw such amazing places in Corsica but did any of them stand out as your favourite and why? Also I love the Berlingo, the guy who fitted my boiler has one and laughs every time he turns up at the dump with them saying, "That's a van!" Then he gets to grin and tell them it's a car 😊 Happy travels!
Your music choices are always spot on guys... How do you do it 👌😁. You are both amazing... I could not cope with the mozzies 😝. Keep going and so looking forward to Italy 🇮🇹😍🙏💖😘
You guys just tell it as it is ,love to you both you are amazing . Look after each other you a great couple , hope you manage to get a good nights sleep mozzy free ♥️😘
Thank you for sharing as always . I just thought that I would mention that the ccd sensor on your camera needs cleaning , it's not that bad but there are a couple of spots , it's mainly sky highlights that will expose the marks , hopefully you have a ccd cleaning kit with plenty of cleaning swabs & an air puffer , but as I say it's not that bad & hardly anyone will notice , the best test is to take a snapshot of the blue sky or a white board & that will expose the marks.
I meant to message when you posted, but was distracted. Oh you guys, I’ve no idea how you are managing to live soooooooooo tiny. The beauty of Morgan was, he was already set up…I can imagine you have to do so much rearranging of stuff all the time. Personal space etc is none existent. You’re doing well all considering…I hope you can muster up a future plan whilst being enjoying/compromising in the present. Take Care ✨🌈🤞🌈✨
I ad.ire your positive attitude but I keep thinking of the story of goldilocks but in reverse. You started off with the right sized van then you went to big then you now have gone to small. It would of cost so little to modify the transit so you could sleep properly, but we ALL learn from trial and error.
A few years ago, we had a weekend in Malta. On the last night, a mosquito got into the bedroom just as we were going to bed. Every time, as I was just dozing off, it would buzz right by me, so I get what you mean by the awful sound. I ended up sleeping on the settee in the lounge, as I couldn't bear it.
Great video. I hope the roads in Sardinia are a bit better. Your channel has the best music out of all the channels I watch. Always very apt to what you are doing. It must take ages to find them.
I so admire you, there’s no way I’d car camp for extended periods, I just couldn’t do it. Janine don’t ignore feeling off when you’re struggling with mossies. I don’t know if it’s just in Australia but mossies here can make you really sick with Ross River fever, it knocks you for a six and takes ages to get over, you get so very tired, aches and pains. I said it before, those roads, so scary. Please be careful. I’ll be in the bar waiting for you, I’m not doing those steps. Beautiful country. 🥰
I've got more drawn into your camper car life as the series has moved on! What beautiful views and experiences you are having. I would have struggled with the drives on that hairpin road, and sadly couldn't have managed the stairs. But good to see you two do it! Looking forward to Sardinia! ❤

It's a bit tough, but you guys are experts and the good will outweigh the bad! All the gorgeous places, plus you have each other! Living in a house also has disadvantages: you can't deive it to Corsica!😂😅
For the mosquitos, they sell these nets you can put on the doors to be able to open the windows. I think you've got them, no? Is it doing the job?
Nice video!🎉
Yeah now we are literally just draping mozzy nets over the whole door haha
A great video as usual ,many thanks x
Glad you enjoyed it
I could feel your exhaustion and your elation after those steps! Maybe for Janine, it is just your body thats still adjusting to car camping, it’s not an easy option. I’ve got my mother hat on now, I hope you both are taking supplements B12 being a top priority! Looking forward to Sardinia video next week ❤ take good care of you both 🥰🙏🏻🏖️🐕🚘
Just catching up, stunning as usual. Loved the sunset. How have you got a song with lyric about Happy days? Xx
that was thoroughly enjoyable .thanks for sharing . see you both next week .
Glad you enjoyed it
Ticket bought for Morgan , once Morgan has been sorted you should defiantly get another van . Maybe a bit smaller so you can travel like you want . All the best
❤thanks for buying a ticket
Corsica is beautiful, I must say janine there are roads like that in parts of Italy. Great vlog as always! Keep safe xx
We look forward to them, thanks for watching 🙏
Thanks for the tips, and yes we are on tbe look out for the green fuss
Sorry to hear you're not feeling 100%, sometimes too many mosquito bites can make me feel like that (I can recommend a good zapper if you like). You saw such amazing places in Corsica but did any of them stand out as your favourite and why? Also I love the Berlingo, the guy who fitted my boiler has one and laughs every time he turns up at the dump with them saying, "That's a van!" Then he gets to grin and tell them it's a car 😊 Happy travels!
You both are so fun i really enjoyed this trip. the car camping while not ideal is great for now. what cool places your getting to find.
Glad you enjoyed it! We share the same sentiments
How beautiful, thanks for sharing guys, Enjoy and hope you're feeling better, Janine ❤
Thank you! 🤗 have a good week ahead
Your music choices are always spot on guys... How do you do it 👌😁. You are both amazing... I could not cope with the mozzies 😝. Keep going and so looking forward to Italy 🇮🇹😍🙏💖😘
Thank you, much love ❤️
Thank you so much for your lovely vlog! Love your adventures. Keep on doing what you love. Stay safe ☀ 🌻 🦋 ❤
Thank you ❤️
You guys just tell it as it is ,love to you both you are amazing . Look after each other you a great couple , hope you manage to get a good nights sleep mozzy free ♥️😘
Lovely snapshots of Corsica guys didn't realise it was so green, happy birthday, two hands on the wheel please on those tricky roads 🚗🚗🚗
Corsica looks amazing
It is
Thank you for sharing as always .
I held my breath a bit too long, while you were driving up that road. I remember roads like that in Greece. 🙈 Fun video. Be safe. 💛✌️
😁
Brilliant drone shots
Thank you
I meant to message when you posted, but was distracted.
The drone shots are just awesome
Having watched all of your previous adventures I'm surprised that you were bothered by those roads.
Haha they were ace! Janine has always had the jeebies with fatal roads
😂 loved your comment, have a fab day
Europe now has Dengue fever (break bone fever)They'll know abut it if they get it,
Put a little fan in the car when you sleep….mosquitos hate the current and will not fly near it….honestly it really works😘
We do have one, although just broke this morning 🙈
Yes my grandson went to Malta it’s spectacular✌🏻😇
I've got more drawn into your camper car life as the series has moved on! What beautiful views and experiences you are having. I would have struggled with the drives on that hairpin road, and sadly couldn't have managed the stairs. But good to see you two do it! Looking forward to Sardinia! ❤
Really appreciate the support and watching this series in Europe 🙏
The stairs were VERY steep
Another good one guys! Thanks for taking us along to Corsica 🎉 looking forward to the next 😄
Pleasure guys xx
Well Berlingo + 2, some really lovely scenery, some scary looking roads 😮Janine apprehension was written all over her face 😢 another enjoyable vlog & very well put together Janine 🎉😊
Beautiful Corsica really enjoyed your video guys ,onwards to Sardinia another one I’m looking forward to .
Hope your feeling better Janine and naughty Liam laughing at your pain at the end . I would have needed oxygen to come up those steps .
Safe onward journey guys xx
Yes I agree try Malta 🇲🇹 it’s fabulous the people are soo friendly 🤩😊 what their wasn’t a lift back up
loving the hat combination safety helmet on top gof your sun hat Liam.
🤙
June 23 2024 Maryland USA: Once again a wonderful video of sharing places I would so wish to be able to go to. Although, there are challenges in living in a truly small, small space you both continue to show the human spirit of adventure and determinations. The bean stew is definitely new make to do. Janine you continue that positive attitud and know you have over thousands cheering you on. Lliam you are such a support to your wife that is so amazing this gives her the confidence to do anything. Continue your journey blessings and graces to two lovely couple. ❤❤❤❤❤
Ahh just love seeing your adventures 😊
Can i just say your editing is fantastique!
Not like i have a clue but i think WOWZ when i see all the the different angles your capturing yourselves from and all the beauty encapsulated within these vlogs 👌🏻
Just amazing 🧡🧡🧡
Thank you so much!! All janines handy work 👌 ❤️
Fabulous Janine 🧡
To prevent mosquitos bites, you can purchase a mesh you clip onto the open car windows for night time. Wouldn’t you also wear an anti mosquito cream?
We wear natural repellent, it works well but doesn't stop them in our ears all night humming
You will get through those bumps in the road, challenges and hardships along the way, life goes far to quickly and one day you will wake realise you are old and cant get around like you used and boy will you be glad you made that trip!
I remember those stairs, very steep and narrow, quite an experience to walk.Great video.Again try a hammock with a mosquito net and all your short term problems with sleep will be solved.
I am amazed at all the lovely clothes Janine wears given how little clothes storage you must have. You always look so lovely and fresh Janine - I’d be a crumpled
Just like that where i live in france you often see cars on their sides in ditches 😅, im dreading the mosquitoes, apparently we have to watch out for tiger mosquitoes, bit scary.
Im just like you janine, mosquitos are awful n their whining sort of noise makes my blood turn to ice, plus once you hear them you just know youve been bitten lol.
Corsica looks so beautiful, can't wait to see you both in sardinia, another okace on my bucket list 😊
Loved Corsica and currently in Sardinia (so different and can't wait to share our experience). Thanks for watching
