We will do. When you travel with a pace like we do, and go by other travellers we meet on the roads' recommendations (as opposed to following a travel guide book or whatever) then there are always surprises and challenges. I felt sorry for you Janine, it's actually quite easy to get dehydrated in warm weather, we often think we have had enough. I love this series also, can't wait for part 2, love from Australia 🌏🦘
Shame about not liking the local aniseed plonk. It's usually a nice cheap tipple guaranteed to get you lashed. Try it with lemonade, limca, twist-up, or calypso, - it helps sweeten & fizz it up. Much nicer than with water.
Hello L & J. Just to let you know you are using the big citronella stick incorrectly. You're supposed to beat the mosquitoes to death with it 😂. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Wonderful video. Loving Corsica! How very beautiful! Top tip - rehydration salts - always handy to keep some packets for a dodgey tummy and for when you're dehydrated. It's the loss of, then lack of salts that can cause problems.
When you next arrive back in the UK you HAVE to come to the outer hebrides in Scotland, my home the Isle of Barra is the most stunning place. It's pure magic here ❤
Ooohhhhh! I'm so excited to hear you say this! We've got a 5 year plan that involves a campervan and the Hebridean Islands! I did the NC500 (before that was a "thing") 15 or so years ago and I cannot explain how called back to it I feel. We're saving up for a van to make it happen! ❤ I just want peace and windswept beaches and blue water and our dogs running along the sand 💙
Hello from Rhodes, Greece 🥰. You are totally right with the mosquitoes. The net works and genuine citronella. Try it myself ,as well. Lovely video!!! Thank you for sharing 🙏❤. Hugs and kisses. Keep safe. Love you both ❤❤❤
Corsica looks amazing. I hope your feeling better Janine I collapsed back in 2018 and was told my blood pressure had dropped dangerously low which they informed me at the drs was partly due to dehydration, my problem is I am so bad at drinking water but I am trying to get better for the sake of my health. I love watching your trips to all these wonderful destinations and looking forward to part 2 of Corsica next week have a great week x
Another cracking vlog as always guys Corsica looks beautiful, you always show everywhere off so well! Makes me wanna be there right now 🤣 have a fantastic time! ❤
You guys would love it, although better in your car than the van maybe as the roads are worst than cornish roads...mind you, you guys would be pro at them come to think 😆

Corsica looks so beautiful. Great filming again Janine . You two really are getting to see some great places on your travels and congratulations on your 200k subs 😊x
Another fantastic video, thank you. I was on a long walk once and when I found a b & b I almost collapsed, because I had forgotten to drink all day. They called the paramedics out. Luckily no harm done. ilona
So happy to see u both still enjoying the experience, u never let anything get u down n that's due to ur amazing positivity, looking forward to part two, good luck guys I wish u well, good health n happiness is all u need❤❤❤
Glad you got to the bottom of the mossies. Stunning views and friendly folk. Life is so much better with sleep isn't it. Proud of you Janine for doing those steps even though heights challenge you and you Liam for holding the camera.❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍🤍
Great filming! Corsica looks beautiful. I'm with Janine ,Liam slow down on these mountains roads ,you're scaring me too. Did I spot that Janine had left her sandals outside the car on the first night ? 😂
What a beautiful place! Never realised Corsica was so pretty. In some places there's no one about. Looks a perfect time of year to go. Will wait to see how you got on in the storms though. Weather is really up and down in Europe. It's pretty wet and chilly here ATM in UK. Can't wait till next week. Stay safe x
There is a ferry which goes from the south of Italy (Bari) to Greece. And then many ferries that travel to the Greek islands. Would be a great adventure if Janine loves boats :)
@@mandyb5954 Yeah, I think you can during the summer months. Cyprus drives on the same side of the road as the UK too. Geographically the middle east and is the only country that has a capital city with a border going through it!
Really enjoyed tonight's vlog. Liam and Janine looks like a beautiful place, really enjoying your adventures. I'm looking forward to the next one take care❤❤Steve 👍
I absolutely love your channel and find your outlook on life and lifestyle choices hugely inspiring! I would love to know more about how car camping/small space living works for you and your relationship- like do you ever feel the need for your own space etc. about to embark on an adventure with my partner and it's just something I've been pondering over. Thank you for carving the path! Love and light 🌞
Breathtakingly beautiful ❤ those roads do look a bit scary! Wow you have both done it again, what an adventure. I so look forward to your video every week and well done Janine you found a 🐶 I was so hoping you would see one 🥰 have a gorgeous time 🙏🏻💛😍
Another fabulous episode. ❤️ Corsica looks gorgeous. You can drink too much water and get dehydrated as you can wash all your salts and sugars out. Try a flat lemonade or just add a tiny bit of salt and sugar in a glass of water. A lady in Egypt told me that, and it has always worked. 🤗 Your one pot looked really good, a handy tip for a quick meal even if you aren’t camping 😋 Mozzies are the bane of my life too. I’ve tried so many remedies. I need to look out for the gizmo . I hope the storm doesn’t last too long. Looking forward to the next instalment already. 🎉 Stay safe and happy travels xx
When my son was younger, my sister and I would take him camping and he would sleep in the SUV. He is a late sleeper and the vehicle would get hot before he got up. I had netting which I cut to the shape of each window and then affixed it to the outside with flat round MAGNETS (from Dollarama). He was able to have the windows unrolled for ventilation and not get any spiders, wasps, or any other insect inside.
@@ThoseHappyDays. Janine scary road, really busy, thin, big busses though you can go down on the train if you want. We found it really hard to park but that may have been the time of the year we were there, I think it was October. Hell it’s beautiful though you’ll love it.
The island looks amazing & more power to both of you . I'm sorry that Janine was feeling unwell with dehydration , dehydration effects are essentially when the blood thickens causing the heart to pump much faster , this is what gives rise to an elevated heartrate , in addition dehydration will also create a general faint feeling with lack of clarity and a general overall feeling of unwell , dehydration can also create headaches , particularly if alcohol is consumed , the good news is that dehydration is easily rectified with plain cool water regularly sipped over a period of an hour or so.
Corsica with a camper van? Good luck!!!😅😅😅Be careful, do not park overnight anywhere or ask permission from residents, they don't like vanslivers very much. I recommend 2 Corsican specialties to taste: “Figatellu” is a sausage to cook on the barbecue with Corsican bread and “Pietra” is the official beer of Corsica. Also be careful, the coastal roads are narrow, the mirrors sometimes don't survive...😄
You’re having a nice time now ! Almost That shite with the old van and things are looking good fun now. Corisica looks amazing ! Couple of rare sightings of Genines legs in this vid which got me quite excited! 😂😂😂👍
Corsica is our favourite place we have been there 7 or 8 times and driven all around the island over the years, Calvi used to be really nice before it got too touristy, Corte is our favourite place that has a fantastic walk up into the mountains to reach the water pools. Corsica made us fall in love with France where we now live, Pietra beer is the best 😊 Brings back memories ❤
New hat Liam!? Love that Janine "the peaceful promise that we are where we need to be right now...and it's ok to move forward". Yes! ❤❤❤ We've sailed around several Ionian Islands and have *never* seen water that turquoise! "Mouth wash blue" is exactly it! Wow! Glad you are finding park ups fairly easily here. ...and then the rains came...uh-oh...
@@ThoseHappyDays I honestly believe you would LOVE, love, love it. It's freedom like no other when all you need is the wind in your sails! It's like vanlife but without being limited by where there are roads and all you need is wind and solar 😁 . We did a bareboat charter (ie we hired a boat, on our own, without a skipper or crew) through Sail Ionian. We could do that because my husband already has an RYA Day Skipper qualification which is the minimum most boat hire companies will accept for you to take their boats out on your own. It's so fun to learn to sail though. Sail Ionian and Ionan Mode do RYA courses from Lefkada, or you can join a flotilla. There's loads of options. The Ionian is PERFECT for novice sailors too. There are no tides to contend with and it's calm clear seas, easy, line of sight sailing and the most freedom we've ever experienced. You stop into marinas or bays which are completely set up for welcoming sailing boats for supplies every now and again. The rest of the time you can choose if you want to hug the coastline and see the beautiful landscape, stop at a particular place and go onto shore for a while, or find an empty bay and drop anchor to paddle board, snorkel, fish or watch the local wildlife. I cannot describe the peace of waking up to a huge sky of pink and yellow on a blue mirror sea, surrounded by mist on the mountains, coffee in hand sat on the deck as the sun rises...the beauty of it moved me to tears several times. We had dolphins by our boat, a sea turtle...It was magical. The biggest cost is hiring the sailing boat. It's not cheap. We saved hard! If you are doing it full time, like vanlife, it's way cheaper than living in a house! There are cheaper ways to do short term sailing though by moving boats for hire companies and stuff. In all truth we loved the freedom of it so much that we can see why people choose to take up the nomadic sea based liveaboard life in the same way people take the conscious choice to do full time vanlife. The experience underpinned why we are planning our vanlife dream for once the kids have left home in a few years. We have dogs so liveaboard boat life won't work for us long term. Honestly, go down a sailing and liveaboard Ionian UA-cam rabbit hole and see if it grabs you! There's so much amazing info out there and the Greek Islands (and Greek people) are amazing.
@@ThoseHappyDays Thanks for asking because that's given me such a lovely load of memories thinking about it! It's nice to share that with people who *really* understand the value of freedom. X
Are you doing a video of the storm . I love a good storm. Once again a lovely video. You are both inspirational and I can’t wait for the next video. Happy car camping . X

In Spain, in Mercadona, you can get a natural Citronella spray, it’s their own brand in a glass bottle, really cheap, and works. You can spray yourself and your bedding with it. If you look in the supermarkets there you might find something similar, or ask in the chemist. In the UK, Avon’s Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Spray is brilliant, double action as it’s a moisturiser too, it’s on A mazon, you might be able to get it delivered to a locker. If you get bitten look for an Aloe Vera plant, they’re usually everywhere. Cut off a leaf and put the sap on your bite, takes away all the itching. Keep the leaf, the end just dries up, and then you cut a bit off and get more sap for your bites. Also very good for your face!
@@TheMinimalistTherapist wow thank you for such a detailed reply! I'll definitely look into it now 💯❤️👌
@@ThoseHappyDays Thanks for asking because that's given me such a lovely load of memories thinking about it! It's nice to share that with people who *really* understand the value of freedom. X

Love the history... I used to live in the South of France.... try Cassis too- gorgeous.
Ah, the other side of the island looks like it has better beaches. Not such a sudden drop-off. Looks like that anyway. I could very well be wrong. What a lovely island! See you on the next one 👍🏼
Congratulations 200K 🎉
Thank you so much 😀
I thought u looked dehydrated on the boat at 3:22 then that happened. Looks a nice place. The coast road looked a bit like the amalfi coast.
The Corsican tourist office should be paying you for such a splendid portrayal of their island.
❤❤❤❤

Corsica looks gorgeous! I'm so envious right now. 😊 My happy place is the ocean followed by the mountains so Corsica would be a dream location that I didn't know about, that I'd like to travel to if I was able to travel. Ireland and Scotland would be my second and third choices. I hope you have a wonderful time.
Take it slow and enjoy the views, you’re in no rush and your supporters get to see more ! 😂👍🏻
Although I'm a meat eater your one pot pasta dish looked interesting I would love the recipe if possible. Thank you very much. Dave and Sandra. 🙏👍

Hi, are you two still practicing yoga? Sometimes a yoga studio may allow you to park overnight if they have parking. Wake up, go in for a wash and a class, have a shower and.....off you go. I am a sixty something solo traveler, I love your video's! Blessings.
We would love that as we are always looking to jump in on a yoga class somewhere
@@ThoseHappyDaysOn Phuket, I went to a studio and enquired, they had a place to stay. It was very inexpensive and included yoga, mat and towels... plus, I was in a village between 2 busy areas, I loved it! So, I did the same in Cambodia, India (of course) and Nepal. ❤
Pisstoe pasta 😂 sounds erm yummy 🤤. Corsica is beautiful thanks for sharing it with me
Have you heard of Asterix the Gaul? (Children’s book character) He’s from Corsica, it has I believe always been part of France … or at least since pre- Roman times.
Yup Pastis is nasty 🤮
Yeehaa! It's Sunday morning and another post from Those Happy Days ❤❤❤❤
Enjoy!
Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪 safe travels as always & stay safe 👍👍👍
