Starting to narrow it up like an Axys. Funny how when Polaris narrowed everything up years ago the Doo riders dismissed it and now they say its so much better. LOL. They did make some nice changes to the G5.
Polaris Khaos went to market with Ski-doo backcountry riders in mind for a feel and now Ski-doo made a sled than is more competitive with Polaris Pro RMKs nice the race is getting tighter.
I am 6'3'' and been riding the low riser this season. It took a bit of getting used to, but I love it. Easier to control is steep, technical riding. One negative is riding the trail out after a long day. I would say the positive greatly out weighs the negative.
Great review👍 but I don’t think you need to look at your spindle while riding to see what your ski is gonna do 😂. Love the narrow body work, less chance of ripping parts off on steep gnarly sidehills.
I agree..I want the latest tech and I don’t need 154 or 165. Snowchecking a 900R 146 Khaos slash. Still will keep my summit 146 but it will be converted to a sled my wife can ride.
Could you possibly be less enthusiastic? "They made a lot of changes almost comparable to the old Polaris". Not sure there is a downside it is almost comparable to an old Polaris lol 😆 I am watching this after having watched you teenage girl gush over the poopoo🤣🤣🤣
Now that’s what I call a comprehensive review. Attaboy!
some awesome upgrades for this coming winter on the new turbo-r and gen 5 !!! lets get winter going!!!!!
Cant wait for mine~! loved my 2022 , and my 2021, this one to me is the nicest one yet!! love everything about it!!
Great review, I'm in love!
The way the clutch panel opens, makes it easier to clean it after riding
Great review, thanks.
Getting my 23 summit next month!
Still can’t decide which model. Nice review. I hated these last year but grown on me. ❤
Hopefully the snow checks will be delivered on time.

The new XT tmo is $180 to add to the tmo x sleds. Really liking the 5th gen 👌
Be nice to see the size of the battery needed for the display. Wondering if i'll be able to swap mine out for a lighter lithium battery.
If it’s like the polaris you will never notice the normal battery maybe weighs 1/2lb

9R bud
@@kdubllu Still gonna be down 30% power at 10,000 feet.
@@Captndarty ain’t no bc boondockin at 10gs. But yer right.
@@kdubllu most riding is like 5500 to 6500’
How does the short riser work for tall riders? I’m 6’4”.

I just changed mine to the medium riser and will probably be going back to the short. Changes the way the sled rides so much.

some more vertical intake vents would be nice like ~2018,19,20,etc
id like to put the xt rear arm and the new track that in my g4. just to see how it changes it. i saw the xt arm can be purchased from doo
Just run the tmotion lockout from
Munster or make your own been locking it out since 2017
What is that cover down by your right foot that's mounted to the tunnel?
it is the chain case
@@lucasdubie4747 Ahhh gotchya. They need to figure out a way to get the chain case and the brake under the hood. They take up valuable foot space
Black belt ninja turtle!
I wished all summit models offered a 146 long tunnel
That's how they sell you a free ride or a sp total BS
@lowrider94ss freeride isn't a long tunnel and I want more then an entry level sled without going to backcountry
I put a 154" T-Motion on a 2010 146", it ate the sno-flap

Comparable to the Patriot boost? No no. It eats the Polaris.
Sounds like someone is taking a chapter out off another manufactures book but still no belt drive🤔
Every manufacturer takes cues from their competitors…c’mon now.
At least they didn't use the same hose clamps on the fuel pumps!
you would think if someone was showing you the glove box they would empty it to show the bottom....ya think???
Now they just need to get rid of the chain case and go with a belt drive and get the weight down 50lbs.
They can t fit a pulley wide enought just biside your right foot
They would have copied more polaris designs but polaris patented them.

Zzzzzzzz
POLARIS COPY NOT EVEN CLOSE POLARIS WINS
They are ugly. They look too much like a personal water craft , for me sorry .
