Good question. Since LYNX doesn't publish this information, we can only speculate. Here goes: For the sake of comparison, Ski-Doo says the 154" Expert is 15 lbs lighter than comparable Summit Edge configuration (430 lbs vs 445). The Shredder RE has a skinnier 15" track but much beefier shocks, and some tunnel and rail reinforcements. Not sure what the new PPS2-DS+ skidframe weights, but 7 lbs lighter than the '22 version. Gut feeling is the 154" Expert is probably a fair bit lighter. It feels that way. But this sled is meant to be ridden hard and put away wet, so that kinda makes sense that some weight would be the trade off for ruggedness and durability.
@@sleddermag that was kinda my analysis as well. You can’t really have best of both worlds, light and rugged lol. My biggest wish list was a lighter sled then my 2022 so kinda counter productive to get the lynx if it’s the same weight as a 2022 turbo. For next year I’ll try the new expert. Thanks for the reply!
@@Eighty8Fitteryou should see all the new Lynx top end models with 4 square headlights. Hands down ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in life.. it is an abomination
Do we know how much dynamic weight the tunnel can handle via the 4 LINQ attachments?
No, but we put a lot of camera gear and other gear on them without ever any issues.
Very nice screen
I dont get why they would change to a 15" wide track but keep the 16" wide track tunnel on the RE and Ds models..
Production costs
Is that the new spire highmark vest? Any idea if there's a new charger model?
Yes, it is the current Highmark Spire. The Charger X is unchanged for W'23.
Thanks for watching!
I would love to know the weight between the 3900RE and the 154" expert.
