- I use Inkscape to prepare all of my scroll saw patterns for printing. This is my process for getting the exact dimensions. I also prefer my patterns in light gray with a black outline. It is easier to see when cutting and easier on your printer cartridge.

does these type of prints have a specific name?
Is there anyway to print patterns to 120% 150% and so on like that. The printers will not let me do it!

you cut out the white correct!?
+Elijah Elgersma Typically, you cut out the black. But it depends on the pattern designer. But most design scroll saw patterns to cut out the black.
