Rear Dana 60 Prep for 35 Spline Shafts

Before you upgrade your rear dana 60 to 35 spline axle shafts make sure you measure, or you may have to do this....bore out the inside of the axle tube in the spindle area of the axle.

What is the shaft length of the 79 Dana 60

The shaft length in this one is 34.625 from the back of the flange. These are chromoly shafts so they were cut to length, but I would assume that's pretty close to what the stock ones were.
