This is my favourite recording of this engine post 1992. Your camera perfectly captured it's hollow, crisp roar in all it's brutality with enough (distortion?) for the "howl" to break many cheap audio devices I've had. Thank You so much for sharing.
You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m trying to remember what I used to capture this, and I think it might have been just an Android tablet, nothing really fancy.

fabulous sound!
Thanks Honda and Japan…
I played that over more than 10x straight.
Thanks! Whenever I watch this again, I still get goosebumps. It was really a spiritual experience to see that car in Suzuka.
This sound. This engine. It runs on baby's blood.
Go easy on the transmission please. How slow is the gear change here compared to a race. Its night and day.
For some reason the cheap low quality mics make cars sound so much more brutal
good one :)
130R
+RANKITRANKI Actually this is Spoon Curve. Though of course the end of that straight leads to 130R.
OMG You're absolutely right , it is the output of the vertex of the second Spoon curve, to 130R . If Senna hear me ...
O verdadeiro som de um motor de F1.
I agree 100%!
Not even revving to 10K RPM.
