I would have rather seen the piece of Moorcroft go in the car boot sale - hopefully someone who appreciated it more than this clown would buy it. It's a beautiful piece that should be appreciated by whoever owns it!!
Captain Cook was a dick. I mean nothing spectacular happened the first couple visits but after he left the final time, ships mast broke and he came back and demanded shit. I guess frustrated that he couldn’t just boss his way around since I think by this point he had nothing to trade so him and his men stole the wood from burial structures.
The paintings about the duelling were not amuzing. Duelling amongst the nobles was a real problem, and the painter clearly states how stupid people were to do so.
