hi-hat crash at 2:35 with the roll in squirt -- sublime
Wow. Such good clean surfing.🤙🏼
The turns on the 2+1 look very crisp. That would be my pick with the twin being a close second.
Which of the three has the fastest planing speed ie the best for sub optimal conditions?
February has the correct stance for surfing. When you combine physics and enabling for certain manuevers , this is the best stance. Also it looks good . No stinkers😢
I don’t really get the basic idea of the Tri plane hull. Y’all make it look great on anything but what’s it made for realistically?
it's a Midlength design that gets more lift so it really stands out in small gutless waves (Sits on top of water, gets up to speed fast and doesn't need much power in the waves to get going). I like in knee to shoulder high ideally. Above that I like the Mid. Hope that helps.
@@devonhoward6633that’s super interesting to know. Been watching your surfing a lot lately. It’s super inspiring… kia ora from NZ
@@devonhoward6633 i don't understand. I find mine (Ci tri plane hull) to be somewhat of a bad paddler, it kinda bogs specially if its windy and bumpy (almost epoxy-ish even though its pu) and it paddle noticeably worse than a machado SnB despite actually packing more volume. And i find it needs way more push... Its like the water goes through the bottom and you get 0 lift if the wave is kind of gutless. I also found once you're up, surprisingly the bog go completely away, it has a lot of glide and stability. Also, paradoxically, its a lot more capable in more powerful surf than most midlength i tried (including SnB), with great manoeuverability and is very comfortable riding a little bit bigger and powerful waves than you would on such a big board.... like bad on small gutless surf, where i keep seeing waves pass through me and missing that i would have 100% caught with most of my other boards of same size (like SnB), and much better on slightly bigger more powerful surf, to the point its probably one of my best "good" wave midlength (which is not at all why i bought it)... Is my board a fake ? lmao
@@devonhoward6633 Thank you so much forbreaking that down for us ! In what size do u like the mid twin best ?
I love 6'11 most, then 7'1 2nd@@chrisathan4293
