    I have lived (and surfed) on Kauai and Maui. As respectful as I was and as good of a surfer as I was, I can tell you that the racism towards whitey is frikkin gnarly in Hawaii. Kinda weird that this “liberal” blows it off like it’s nuthin though.

    So localism at Pipeline is totally cool and has it's place in surfing as long as its the non Hawaiian Hawaiian hassling a white guy from CA?
