Today is November 6, 2024, and as a queer woman in the US, I am reeling from the election results. Being able to watch something like this is helping me cope in a situation that feels completely hopeless. Thank you for posting these and helping distract people in times of despair with some desperately needed humor.
I love how humble David Tennent was prior to his role as The Doctor! Coming out all shy and saying he was probably going to be the worst, then going on to become the most iconic doctor of the whole series! Man’s truly a legend!
really? I thought he was smug and self congratulatory, paired with that vile boot cut jean, pointed toe shoe, t shirt under a tweed jacket, " awkward indie " energy that 2005 brought, it makes him even more "unpalatable" than he is now.......
Thanks for uploading this, watching this is like a Time Machine which is a welcome relief from 2023. I was 19 when this aired and remember watching over Christmas holidays at my parents as a slightly hungover 1st year student.
Elizabeth Hurley made that 'real girls' comment because in fashion people have been claiming models aren't 'real women' (and this was especially true at the time). It's hardly bitchy on her part. She actually accepted being called not real by people who resent beautiful women. It was a humble phrasing - and she still got bashed. May as well be egotistical when people tear you down no matter what you say.
1:01:35 my looping binaural simultaneous watching of this and mock the week just synced up to hear this pete doherty joke and the one from mock the week season 4 episode 5 within minutes of each other
You know when the time comes when David Attenborough has passes I think the whole world will go cold we got to keep the Earth moving and be good to it.
What a weird show/year when Sharon Osbourne and Gordon Ramsey are somehow their top panel choices. No comedians or presenters available? At least Denise is a 90s presenting legend!
42:05 why does Wossy look so offended here, does "cups and saucers" mean something I'm not aware of? My only guess is that it's a reference to people with both sets of genitalia and thus an offensive stereotype, hence Wossy's reaction, but if that is what it means then I haven't heard it used like that before
I believe it’s meant to be a joke about the ping pong shows in Bangkok, and Sharon exaggerating by saying somebody had not only ping pong balls in their vagina but a whole teaset as well. Or she was telling an actual story about a show she saw in Bangkok which I honestly really hope is not the case lol
Just when I think I couldn't possibly love Jimmy Carr any more he twice says something so outrageous it makes Gordon Ramsay gasp and cover his mouth.......and I do.
@iceguy9723 Yep, no doubt she's had work done as most celebs have, but even if she has she's barely aged. I was a pre-teen when she was famous, and I look older than her now even though I'm probably 15 years younger
Yeah, that zombie stunt is clearly bullcaca. The zombies had the exact number of squibs (special effects mini explosives to simulate getting shot) that were timed perfectly with his shots. That's fake.
I was so happy when I realised I handnt seen this episode as had one to watch. 10 minutes in, Sharon made it quite clear that I had tried to watch but she's so vile I had turned it off and blanked it from my memory.
21:52 - Seeing someone from great britain with black hair and blue eyes is an automatic "yep, welsh" just as seeing someone from russia with black hair and blue eyes and go "yep, definitelly estonian". And what would you know - this charlote gal WAS from wales, what a shoker.
Since when it is a Welsh thing? I thought black hair and dark eyes are mostly from Roman (if not earlier African) origins? Irish is redder than most nations, but the northern European ones tend to be blonde. I'd have thought Wales and Scotland would be primarily known for being Ginger or Blonde
Nah. This show goes out every year and the humour is still the same. What's most amazing considering all the PC overkill in the current climate, is that Jimmy Carr is still the same rude bastard he has always been (which is what makes him so great) yet he gets more TV time than most comedians. There are still people at C4 who know full well that people need the breath of foul air that is Jimmy's humour.
@@caphowdy666the difference being now is the show can only make fun of straight men and our own culture. most of the panel aren't white, which is massive over representation and they don't understand British humour 🤷♂️ I mean have you ever seen Big narstie being "funny"?
1:30:50 today marks six months since Rose Montoya and two other trans folks lived their best lives at the first white house pride event and biden called them "disrespectful" and "inappropriate"

The most iconic Doctor of New Who - yes
...Tom Baker will never be bettered.
Who’s that then?
Still gonna depend on personal tastes and your age, but as good as Tennant was, for many Tom Baker is the most iconic and best.

I feel the same I was freshly 18.
Rob Brydon looks older here than he does in 2024
I was thinking the same!
I love Sharon at the beginning derailing the whole concept. 😂
we can't forget how katie price was almost the UK Eurovision choice
He's kind of a sleeper but over the years Jonathan Ross has been consistently mean to assholes.
So he's pretty cool
Scarily this is nearly 20 years ago. I miss the 2000s. Seems like everything has gone to sh_t since then!!
Ah, when people could mention Rolf Harris freely is like seeing an old movie when people smoked inside buildings
Im glad hes gone for good now though.

The vermin need to be TTD.
@alexeibourdan9316
Why would you use capital letters when referring to a child rapist?
Here's how the vermin's name should be written r🤮lf harrarse.
If you're on a team with Gordon Ramsay, there's only one team name choice: "FUCKING RAW!"
Where's the lamb sauce?
Or “you idiot sandwich”
We’re not donkeys!
Or idiot sandwich lol😅
It’s so nice getting to revisit life pre, you know, everything…
Gordon looked so nervous

@walterliddy 100% agree. She was definitely ahead of her time with that statement and that direction. Feels bad she was bashed for inclusion.
I am younger than Rob Brydon and I too never heard that song lol
1:04:47 - that face in the background (to the most right) - it was SOOO FITTING 👌👌👌👌🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣

@@Anonymous-hz3zz I guess you are right, for some reason I thought of their right, not the viewer's (ours) left 😋😋

Love that man for all he has done all these many years and he's still gorgeous as well.
you either die a hero, or live long enough to be john mcurick
I absolutely love Sharon😂
Sharons daughter is in the last clip about the movie.
18:20 hits hard in 2023
27:37 just noticing that Paula Radcliffe is pixelated in the Big Fat Quiz of Sport 2023 but not in Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2005, how odd and curious
Adore Gordon ❤😂😂😂😂
The days when Katie Price looked human.
She still looks like an over inflated Barbie doll dipped in gravy.
Gordon is ADORABLE here ❤
i love how they put David with Denise, worlds collide ;p
Aren't those tin snips
18:34 Wow.
Love wozzy

Tialand ping pong balls...just 😂😂
So tired of people whining and judging the silly meaningless jokes of past. Now, we get the never-ending everyday cruelity by non comedians.
katie done too much bugle and pete was getting well radge!!!
I was 4 months old when this came out
20:22 AHAAAA
It’s sounds like he signs off with David Tennant as Jaimie Tournet

Gordon Ramsay? Not even started and I am hating it already. Then Ross appears.....oh Shit.
Sharon who? When a nobody is famous for nothing.
I felt like Gordon didn’t want to be there the whole time. But tbh it may have just been before he opened up as a big celebrity
99.9% of this would be banned in today's world. How sad we have all become.
