CAUTION: To avoid injury and/or property damage, two people must participate in the process of unboxing and setting up of the TV.
Do not like the non removable power cord. That was a huge miss from Sony.
Seriously needs to have protective film over the screen. It’s ridiculous not having any for a tv that costs this much! How can you overlook that? People are receiving damaged ones because of that with scratches. My 77” A80L even came with a scratch out of the box.
No protective film for costliest tv....
They also used to have a whole card board piece infront just to protect the screen.

Mine had no scratches. Neither did anyone else's unless they did something they shouldn't have.
Just picked up a Sony a75L....and was a little petty about not having protective film over screen, even $200 TV's have it. Luck it was in perfect condition with an amazing display on low content streaming 55" $1195. Was between the Sony A75L and LG C3, I own the LG C9 no complaints
Yeah I thought for sure their flagship A95 would have the protective film....at least it did on bottom bezel😂
Could someone tell me if I need a UPS/Surge protector? I live in Germany we don’t have that much power fluctuations here. So I am not sure if I should buy one or to dimply directly plug into Turnsaal socket. I heard that surge protectors actually are not recommended by Sony as it has built in SP and it can work incorrectly if the TV is connected to external SP as well
Only complaint is the micro scratches my tv has due to no protective film!!
Bravia CAM sits on dusty shelf because it's so great. Plus I am glad with my SONY A95K Quantum Dot OLED King of Kings TV.
no protective film for such an expensive TV is just stupid at this point. there are already reports of damaged screens.

Good question. 110-120 could help a little with minor fluctuations in power from your power company.

whats the difference between this and the a80j? at some point, i want to upgrade but I cant straight details on this tv
This tv is far superior. Better panel, motion processing, sound, game bar, brightness, color saturation, and more.
There are quite a few differences! @enzog1078 hit most of them. Make sure you check out Larry's video on the Sony Electronics UA-cam page to learn more there. We will be putting out another few videos on the A95L soon(ish) on some other great features that are only found on the A95L. The A80J is a fantastic TV.... but the A95L is substantially brighter and is able to hold color saturation much better at higher luminance. Anything you watch or play on it will look even better!
I'm also planning to upgrade from 65" A80J, but I'm torn between 77" A95L or an 83" A90J.
Brighter picture with better colors or much much BIGGER picture?
@@MFHRaptor I personally would always opt for the more premium experience. 77 is plenty big as long as you’re not very far from the screen.

If you touch the screen with your hands - the ant- reflex layer will be broken an this is Terrible.
We have an expensive stand that it is close but questionable if this TV will fit securely. What are the dimensions of the stand legs (how long forward and back?) and what are the dimensions (full width) in the back where they appear to angle in? Thank you!

Can I ask which wall-mount you are currently using? And which 55" BRAVIA do you currently own?

I am still waiting delivery for my new Bravia as there is a delay getting them to the warehouse.
Superb TV but the price compared to LG and Samsung is way too expensive over $1,000 more!!
You get what you pay for. The picture quality is noticeably better on the Sony, but as you say, you're paying for that. It's nice to have the choice.

In theory yes, the announcement is probably a few months away, but it probably be in shops until in October 2024

Sony what is going on with your inventory?? How is the 77” A95L never in stock? And the few minutes it’s available, it sells out. There can’t be THAT many people buying a 5,000 dollar 77” TV. How many do you release at a time??
