I won't make any comment about any of the other movies in either of those series, whether I loved or hated the next ones... due to fears it could be a spoiler or bias the pov for any future reactions.
@@erickknutz5599 I was a huge fan of the Divergent books when I was younger. I read it for a class and we even had this cool ceremony we did to pick which faction we would go too. At least it's nice to have a handful of excellent go-to movies if I am bored or stressed, can just toss one in the player and kick back and enjoy ;-)
I would definitely look into Dylan O Briens recovery story from this movie when you have time. He went through a lot mentally and physically to recover from his injury/trust issues. Glad he’s healed and back to doing what he loves. Great reaction as usual!
Eyebrows is British if you guys didn't already know. So it's kinda freaky seeing him in British accent in interviews. He pull off a great American accent ✨
So basically with the beacon from the greiver, there is a greiver designated to each section of the maze, and when that part of the maze opens, that designated greiver goes on patrol. The part of the maze closes when the grieved returns back to the hole, hence why section 7 was still open and then began to close after sending the beacon nearby
He was so seriously injured in the 3rd Maze Runner movie (from being RAN OVER BY A TRUCK WHILE HOOKING A LINE TO A TRAIN) that he had to relearn how to do simple things like eating, laundry, etc. He had serious PTSD and it messed with his ability to show up for his last season for Teen Wolf (Season 6B - this show had two seasons each year kindaike before winter break and after winter break).
One of my favorite memories was getting to see a fan screening of this before it’s premiere at SDCC with my sister. Even got to talk to some of the cast. Love the movies and can’t wait to see you react to the others!
This is another one of my favorite from book to movie film series. Loved your reactions to "The Hunger Games". Definitely looking forward to these movie reactions. 😊 I do highly recommend the "Divergent" movie trilogy. Those movies are also a from book to movie trilogy. I'm probably only one of few that like the movies(at least the first one)slightly better than the books.
Gally isn't jealous of thomas, gally was the 3rd one to come into the maze. if he wanted to be a runner, he would've. He afraid, because everything is changing since thomas arrived, and there is no longer stability/ without stability, there is chaos.
I was really glad this trilogy left in these kids getting killed throughout the movies to give it a darker feel. We had too many similar tween movies but this one just felt way more adult driven in a way. Once you see Chuck die you know these movies are willing to actually make the stakes high.
The books are amazing. Nightmarish even. When I read the books back in 2010 as a youngun they gave me crazy nightmares about the reavers and the flare. You'll enjoy the next one.
Fun fact : Characters' names are not their "real" name. They are named by the ones who put them in the maze and many of the characters' names are taken from historical figures and most are from inventors, mathematicians, philosophers, or scientists to illustrate their intelligence (which was a major plot element in the novel): Thomas (Thomas Edison) Alby (Albert Einstein) Newt (Isaac Newton) Chuck (Charles Darwin) Gally (Galileo) Teresa (Mother Teresa) Winston (Winston Churchill) Ben (Benjamin Franklin) Frypan, in the novel also called Siggy, (Sigmund Freud). Author James Dashner has said that Minho is not named after anyone famous but his niece's Korean husband.
Eyebrows is Eustace in Chronicles of Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I forgot he was in this. I only saw it once! GOT Newt! Love him. The first time I saw him was in Dr Who Human Nature and Family of Blood 2 part. S3 E 8&9.
You are giving me proper nostalgia with the hunger games and now maze runners reviews. I watched all these in the cinema and love both series so much! I'm excited for you to review the scorch trials, which is my favourite out the movies if I had to pick.
26:29 about this part, i think that they do it every day just in case something changes. because what if the one day they stopped going in, something changed in the maze and they weren't there to see it? in my opinion, its a sort of hope/precaution - they go in every day just to make sure they never miss out on any changes or possible ways out. i loved seeing your guys' reaction/commentary to this movie, and i can't wait to see you guys react to the next 2 !!!
If either of you read, you should check out The Maze runner books. The books are much more thrilling, plus it uses their catch phrases alot more. It makes you feel like you're apart of their world.

I really love the Maze Runner series and all of the reaction you guys do. I want to recommend a T.V show to you guys called The 100. It is a futuristic dystopian series on Netflix. There are a lot of seasons but they only get better and better as the show goes on. I think you guys would enjoy the series a lot.
For some reason, this was the one book-to-film series that went completely off-book after the first one. The second and third movies are nothing like the books, but they're still decent movies.
Criminally underrated movie and book series. The Divergent book series was good, the first movie was ok, but the series fizzled out and was never finished.
I have been hoping you guys would react to this. Out of all the teenage dystopian movie/novels, this is by far my favourite. The cast expecially is perfect. :)
Man Dylan O’Brien is so fucking awesome and talented actor. I’ve seen everyone of his movies and tv shows. I heard that he took a break after getting injured in the 3rd movie, hope he’s doing okay, but man if he auditioned in those big Netflix series I’m sure he would get bunch of awards
Watching this, makes me want to read the books again!! The books for this series, are so awesome!! My favorite book in the series is Book 5 - "The Fever Code" it is a direct prequel of "The Maze Runner" (Thomas as main character from age 8 to 16). At the end of Fever Code, it insinuates that; Teresa was either made to believe her memories would not be removed or Teresa had her memory the whole time.
minho literally answered on ur question about why runners kept trying to find a way out of mazer. it's because ppl need to believe in something. so they don't give up
I keep thinking that maybe if they hadn't been so mysterious and just told Thomas it was a maze that was going to close up after dark, he might not have been so curious. Since Newt takes charge after Alby, I wonder if he was the second one sent in.
@nikki TERESA is played by Kaya Scodelario. You've probably seen her in the movie Crawl as the main lead and in POTC Dead Men Tell No Tales as Carina Smyth, Capt. Barbossa's daughter.
Amazing trilogy!!! Y’all should definitely check out the Divergent series after this one. I feel like y’all would dig it! New to the channel but I love it! ❤️ Can’t wait for more 👏🏽

When I was in middle school I read the Hunger Games series as well as the Maze Runner Series before any of the movies came out. Of what I can remember, the Maze Runner is a pretty “true to the source material” trilogy. From the first, the only notable difference that stood out to me at the time was that when the maze doors wouldn’t close, and the grievers came, it took place over a considerable amount of time, can’t remember how long, if it was days or a month. But they actually hid inside the town stead where Alby is and every night, grievers would come and take a kid, and they could hear the screams as they went back into the maze. Not very significant as in the movie that would’ve been hard to convey, but you could see where going through that every night would make you either more fearful of the grievers or make you want to leave all the more, which is where in the book, the divide of people going and staying happened.
I had read the book a few years before the movies came out, it was really amazing. I had whole different idea of what the grievers looked like. This series is incredible.
The Platform (2020) - Spanish social science-fiction horror movie. I highly recommend it. It's definitely aimed at a slightly more adult audience for sure. It's a bit darker (like the darkest parts of Squid Game) and grittier than many of the other movies/series in the same general genre. It's all in Spanish so subtitles are necessary for people not speaking Spanish (like myself). I really really enjoyed it (and was horrified at the same time).
The guy who wrote the books came to my high school and told us how he came up with the ideas and he helped with the movies he said Dylan O’Brien is a really good dude
I grew up reading the books many many times and this adaptation did well. I even met James Dashner and have a signed copy of the first book. Not including an old picture of me he took to put on his twitter way back when because I dressed up as how I'd envisioned Teresa way before the movies were a possibility. ☺️

And I’m just catching on to The Witcher train so it’s been amazing having those reaction videos lined up 😆
I clearly remember seeing this one in theaters upon release, and thinking it was amazing and had a very different feel than most movies. I also really loved Divergent, to add another onto that dystopian list.
All of these dystopian movies were the rage during this time. Looking back, I’ve never been that interested to rewatch them/read them. Seeing these reaction videos is making me rethink that haha! 😅
@@manalakhtar5808 It's weird, I never re-watch Maze Runner, despite really liking it at the movie theater. Divergent I re-watch all of the time, although I find it hard to explain exactly why that first one in the series resonates with me so much, while the following movies in the series aren't as re-watchable.
I love this trilogy. The whole concept was just amazing. i love the Maze Runner.
Eyebrows is British if you guys didn't already know. So it's kinda freaky seeing him in British accent in interviews. He pull off a great American accent ✨
Bro the sound effect you guys put in there every time someone gets hit in the head has me rolling 🤣
If Newt looked familiar it's because he was in Game Of Thrones in case you didn't already know
LOVE this franchise too! 🥳🥳🥳
Fun Fact: In the book it was actually Thomas and Theresa who designed the maze. They were both sent there to force the kids to find a way out.
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FORRR, hoping they do the other 2 movies :')
HAHAHAHAHA "boys are nasty"
I'm so happy you're watching this! Dylan O'Brien is my fave!!! Look out for some familiar faces in the sequels 😉
Nikki is SUCH a mom! I love it!😄
This is another one of my favorite from book to movie film series.
Loved your reactions to "The Hunger Games". Definitely looking forward to these movie reactions. 😊
I do highly recommend the "Divergent" movie trilogy. Those movies are also a from book to movie trilogy. I'm probably only one of few that like the movies(at least the first one)slightly better than the books.
I really liked the divergent series as well. I havent read the books yet.
The problem with the divergent series is they never finished it. There was supposed to be another movie and maybe two more
Yessssss!!!! They need to watch Divergent!
Please no, they couldn’t even finish the story in the end…why bother watching it?
@@sicmundus2348 that’s what I’m saying dude. Only series that are finished.
I'm 10 mins in and i'm suprised you guys havent recognised newt yet, he also plays jojin in game of thrones
I think I heard em say that 😅
I must have missed it lol
Gally isn't jealous of thomas, gally was the 3rd one to come into the maze. if he wanted to be a runner, he would've. He afraid, because everything is changing since thomas arrived, and there is no longer stability/ without stability, there is chaos.
39:29 I just realized Minho didn’t look away or flinch
This series is So underrated can’t wait for the other 2 movie reactions
I was really glad this trilogy left in these kids getting killed throughout the movies to give it a darker feel. We had too many similar tween movies but this one just felt way more adult driven in a way. Once you see Chuck die you know these movies are willing to actually make the stakes high.
I just binge watched your hunger games videos and Nikki won me over immediately when she started crying for Prim🥺❤️
The books are amazing. Nightmarish even. When I read the books back in 2010 as a youngun they gave me crazy nightmares about the reavers and the flare. You'll enjoy the next one.
Loved the books and the movies didn’t disappoint either! Glad you’re checking it out!
The second one “scorch trials” was my favorite of these 3 movies! Glad y’all have found this trilogy!
my favorite series of movies and they only get better as they go with death cure being the best
I love the mazerunner books. The story and mystery unfolds in such an interesting way.
Fun fact : Characters' names are not their "real" name. They are named by the ones who put them in the maze and many of the characters' names are taken from historical figures and most are from inventors, mathematicians, philosophers, or scientists to illustrate their intelligence (which was a major plot element in the novel):
Thomas (Thomas Edison)
Alby (Albert Einstein)
Newt (Isaac Newton)
Chuck (Charles Darwin)
Gally (Galileo)
Teresa (Mother Teresa)
Winston (Winston Churchill)
Ben (Benjamin Franklin)
Frypan, in the novel also called Siggy, (Sigmund Freud).
Author James Dashner has said that Minho is not named after anyone famous but his niece's Korean husband.
Yes! I’m so glad ya’ll are watching this! It’s such a great follow up to The Hunger Games
Eyebrows is Eustace in Chronicles of Narnia Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I forgot he was in this. I only saw it once! GOT Newt! Love him. The first time I saw him was in Dr Who Human Nature and Family of Blood 2 part. S3 E 8&9.
this is such a good movie trilogy, theyre also such great actors - you guys should watch the 2nd and 3rd one too
You are giving me proper nostalgia with the hunger games and now maze runners reviews. I watched all these in the cinema and love both series so much! I'm excited for you to review the scorch trials, which is my favourite out the movies if I had to pick.
I remember seeing this in the cinema and I got so scared of bens part when he gets pushed in the maze that i left haha
26:29 about this part, i think that they do it every day just in case something changes. because what if the one day they stopped going in, something changed in the maze and they weren't there to see it? in my opinion, its a sort of hope/precaution - they go in every day just to make sure they never miss out on any changes or possible ways out. i loved seeing your guys' reaction/commentary to this movie, and i can't wait to see you guys react to the next 2 !!!
one of my FAVORITE series! i wish i could watch it for the first time again. i’m glad y’all enjoyed it.
If either of you read, you should check out The Maze runner books. The books are much more thrilling, plus it uses their catch phrases alot more. It makes you feel like you're apart of their world.
I’ve said it before, but I just LOVE you guys. I live for every reaction. They’ve honestly helped get me through this damn pandemic. I’m so thankful for you sharing your time with us ❤️
23:26 Well, let's see. Kaya Scodelario played Carina in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
She was in Skins and in the 2019 movie Crawl
I really love the Maze Runner series and all of the reaction you guys do. I want to recommend a T.V show to you guys called The 100. It is a futuristic dystopian series on Netflix. There are a lot of seasons but they only get better and better as the show goes on. I think you guys would enjoy the series a lot.
"That kid has a great head of hair" - Minho's actor is the almost the same age as you guys
For some reason, this was the one book-to-film series that went completely off-book after the first one. The second and third movies are nothing like the books, but they're still decent movies.
Criminally underrated movie and book series. The Divergent book series was good, the first movie was ok, but the series fizzled out and was never finished.
FUN FACT! Their names are homage to other people. Alby = Albert Einstein; Gally= Galileo; Thomas = Thomas Edison; Newt= Issac Newton
I love the maze runner saga , can you guys react to divergent saga as well?
I was coming to bring up the same thing. Hunger Games, Maze Runner and the Divergent series are all right there together.
@@danielsummers2484 Divergent is my favorite one out of them all ❤️
@@mannyvlogind.r4018 I actually wasn't expecting to like it. I was wrong lol.
Yesss. Hope they watch Divergent next!
@@rolandas12able me too
Watching this, makes me want to read the books again!!
The bonk noise when someone gets hit gets me every time
They explained the greivers very early and you guys just completely through it out the window 😂
minho literally answered on ur question about why runners kept trying to find a way out of mazer. it's because ppl need to believe in something. so they don't give up
omg lol i never realised other people referred to will poulter as eyebrows too, me and my family always do but i’ve never heard anyone else say it
The actor played newt also voiced Ferb in Pheneas and Ferb.
I keep thinking that maybe if they hadn't been so mysterious and just told Thomas it was a maze that was going to close up after dark, he might not have been so curious.
Since Newt takes charge after Alby, I wonder if he was the second one sent in.
@nikki
TERESA is played by Kaya Scodelario.
❤️ Can’t wait for more 👏🏽
Good recomendation, Divergent is great!
Yesss I love divergent
They would especially love divergent
The girl who played Theresa...Kaye Scodelario played in: Skins TV series, The Maze Runner, Crawl, Resident Evil (2021), according to Google. :) etc
Teresa is played by Kaya Scodelario. She was in Skins, a British tv series, one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, in Resident Evil movie.
Theresa was in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" Kaya Scodelario
When Steven said, 'What is this, Chambers of Secrets.' Did anyone else, hear the song, that places in HP? Or am I the only person, who heard that...because I was looking for any comments about it, but I didn't see any.
Maze Runner is def up there with Hunger Games. Such a good movie series.
41:05 the other kids were killed by the other greavers. Gally was stung at the end there.
Watched this movie so many times. So good. The whole series is good but for some reason this one was on all the time and I didn't mind watching it every time.
I've forgotten so much about this trilogy, but I do remember feeling pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it for the most part.
I love how Nikki said that everybody must stink here!!! That's literally the first thing I thought about when I watched this movie!
Even though they already mapped the whole maze the runners kept going in so that everyone else wouldn't lose hope of getting out
everyone remembers him from The Millers but he's been in good ones like The revenant, chronicles of narnia, and midsommer!
In April 2019 Disney announced that the final 2 films for the Maze Runner were in development.
Coming from someone that has had a job cleaning public restrooms I can say with confidence that the women’s rooms were always nastier. And that’s not counting biological differences.
There’s always that one random-ass comment in the comment section. 😂😂😂🤣🤣
@@GMDTurbo They're commenting on the fact that the lady reactor remarked how "boys reek." And what they say about women's bathrooms is absolutely effing true. So don't give me that crap about "boys reeking."
I don't normally read, but this book series is my favorite one I've read. The movies are amazing too.
I had read the book a few years before the movies came out, it was really amazing. I had whole different idea of what the grievers looked like. This series is incredible.
Excellent movie series you will definitely enjoy the ride as we all have .
Such an underrated trilogy with such an underappreciated cast. We have Stiles, Effie, Ferb and some guy who isn’t getting paid. Dream team.
Holy shhhh, this is one of my top favorite movie series, and I might be biased because I genuinely love Dylan O'Brien (Thomas), but his acting is TOP TIER in this series (and all his work)
"I'm already emotionally attached to these people!"
That's the point. They make you love them... and then they die 😭😭
loved watching this movie with y'all! One of my favorite movie series!
