We didn't hear any noise from the gym. While 1102 is closer to the gym, it's up against a steam room and across from massage rooms. The gym itself is still a bit away from there and through multiple doors, so while close, it's not something I'd worry about personally.
You’ll find that odd old fashioned colored sink even on the new ships. Usually robins egg blue. Kind of makes me feel homey on the first day when we finally get to our cabin! Great tips for cabin location btw. I would pick that location as well.
The location was luck of the draw (I think...actually, maybe our agent did this...) but when we go back to try for a test during better weather I'd love to have the same spot. Carnival color schemes can be interesting. Things got a little better (to my taste) with Vista class. This is something we'll touch on during the review video Larissa and I are putting out this week.
We stayed in 1114 on the Liberty when it was doing Southern Caribbean cruises from San Juan. Loved the location but the only negative is the lack of cover over the balcony. When you sit there you have people looking down on you.
It's a fair point, though the deck that sits over there isn't very popular. The only time I saw anyone hanging out there was during sail-away, and as we waited for staterooms to be ready. Still, for some, that uncovered balcony is a plus. I, however, am pale enough I tan with the shades open slightly :-)
Staying in 1110 next month I can’t wait!
We’re booked for 1102. How is that floor as far as noise, with the spa and gym being right there?

Thanks. I appreciate you

We’re about to cruise with our kids in 1115. Are there any spa amenities provided like the cloud 9 spa rooms??
No, as this room, despite it's proximity to the spa and gym (really just steps away), is a 'normal' balcony category, not a Cloud 9 category.
I'm ok with showering in a test tube as long as there's a good shower head...I fucking love it 🤣🤣🤣
THIS ☝️
It's a dumpy ship
Why?
