It’s one of the most fun classes in the game! My favorite multiclass is the bard 10 paladin 2 for flourish smites, but this one is great at protecting the team!
There two more evil endings thta are more evil than becoming the new absolute. One is where you play as the dark urge and kill all of your compions and the ohter one is kill everyone in the game.
I did one of these recently for my Tav: Rogue as first class, then Knowledge cleric as a solid one level dip which gives you two expertises. After that, Lore Bard build. I'm sure there's other ways to go about it but I honestly didn't feel the need for more lol. Interested in what else can be done though. One level ranger dip before bard?
Okay I think I got it: Githyanki, Rogue 1, Knowledge Cleric 1, Lore Bard 10 Basically you invest in every possible skill excluding Wis based ones, then use Astral Knowledge Wisdom every long rest to cover those. Ranger 1 instead of cleric can cover some proficiencies but not the expertise, but the different skill options for ranger may be more appealing. You could also avoid Int skills then use Astral Knowledge Intelligence (its 5 skills either way) but both Knowledge Cleric and Ranger will always give you Int skills so there's overlap. Might be a good alt idea if you decide to do neither dip and take Rogue 2 instead. Without Gith, Wood Elf is the runner up by granting 2 skills, followed by humans one bonus skill. And it also losens up what dips, skills and expertises you go with. Backgrounds are whatever.
Is it wrong to enjoy the sounds of screaming from enemies burning from radiance attacks and spells? I'm curious to see if, and if so how, these builds will change after patch 7...it's Thursday morning here, so not long to go haha.
