- In this video I’m further enhancing the overall experience behind the wheel and improving the curb appeal of “Dusty” my 1994 Ford Bronco XLT. I take this 30 year old wore out front TTB and completely overhaul it with a Desolate Motorsports stage 2 Suspension System which now provides 4” of lift, 11 inches of travels and a whole lot of sexiness. I also install the Desolate Motorsports Master installer kit which replaces all front U-joints, spindle bearings and seals, hub bearings and seals, spindle lock nuts, new warn locking hubs, and new ball joints. I also threw and fully built and re-geared front Dana 44 3rd member build my Desolate Motorsports too. Now Dusty’s entire front end is solid.

This is satisfying seeing an old school truck getting restored 😊good luck doing so
Thanks man! This truck's got some serious potential! 😎
Man I’m glad I stumbled across your channel!!! I have a 94 OBS Bronco with a BDS 6” and the dang thing just about changes lanes on its own whim. Loving this series!!! Soooooooooo helpful!!! Congrats on your new baby girl Chase!!!
Thank you!! She’s perfect!! Glad you’re enjoying the channel 🙏
Thanks for the video Chase! I just picked up a ‘96 F-150 and am looking to do this. How many hours to complete this front end?
Never had any issues with my Bronco and I had a 4” SuperLift. Drove smooth and straight. Worked great and sounded great with angel legal header’s and magna flow exhaust. Mickey Thompson Alcoas. She was a beast. People were amazed at how smooth it was on road and offroad.
Then it was done right
People say that only X brand lift will ride smooth but the truth is its all about who does the install and if they knew what they were doing or not
Good job it looks good for an older truck😊
👍👌
BEST OBS series i've seen yet and I have been browsing all of them! Can't wait for tons of off-road content. I may or may not be picking up my own OBS shortly ;) Gotta bring your's to NV when it's done so we can smash through the desert
Welcome aboard! Definitely down to run it up to there for some fun🤘😈
Happy obs ford follower!
Right on! 😎thanks for joining in!!
SICK! I saved this to my playlist. I'm ordering this same kit next year for my 92! This is getting pumped up for that part in my build. I was looking for a shop to do the work in but I think I will do it on my side yard now that you mentioned the air jack giving you some trouble with the radius arms. Hope the new baby is doing well!
Right on! It’s such a great setup honestly! And baby is doing great!!! Thank you!!
Guess he finally figured out, knuckle, axle, spindle!
Nicely done dude. Btw. Coming back to Texas Nov 1.
Thanks man!
Dag. I did that install in my driveway in south Florida during summer hahaha. Brutal. Solo, not Desolate though.
I’ve definitely been there, it’s brutal! 😂
Hey Chase… looks like 2.5 rotations on the radius arm heim joints, not 5. Am I wrong?
Not wrong it varies. I opted to set mine at the 5
@@ChaseGentry btw I love the content!!! Keep it coming!
Was gonna say the same thing. That was 5 half rotations.
Awesome. I have the Desolate 1.5 kit (basically a leveling kit). Still rides pretty crappy on the street, like an old truck. Is there any suspension that will make my '95 ride like a newer truck?
Really need the radius arm kit and rear done
@@ChaseGentry The kit comes with radius arms. Rear is stock minus the Bilsteins.
When I hit the lotto, I'm dropping off my 94 Bronco to you.
🙌🏁🏁😂
What kinda paint did you use for those knuckles? Looks beautiful
Its alloy armor
@@ChaseGentry thank you!!
Which kit from desolate did you end up going with? The daily kit or one of the others?
It’s in the description 👊🏻
I hate my ttb on my 80 full size which is the first year ttb came out so I'm doing a sas on my bronco
Viable option to SAS.
Could you go a little more in-depth on what you did with the engine and transmission and how you are controlling that.
All mechanical upgrades and very minimal. Running OEM efi and mapping. Have not fired it up yet circle back later to follow up 👊🏻
Are those ttb arms powder coated?
No it’s self etching primer and 3 coats of rustoleum. Not a fan of powdering these type of components since they’ll see a lot is debris and abuses
@@ChaseGentry love your content, I'm a big fan now.
@@dresoto3188 thanks man!! Glad you’re enjoying the channel 💪👊🏻🏁
Awesome! How much for the old Bilteins?😅
100 bucks all four?
@ChaseGentry Hi Chase, did you forget about me... Is the deal still going? Wrote you an email a couple of days back.
@@ChaseGentry Buddy, just checking if the deal is still going. Have not heard from you in a while, please let me know your decision.
Hope it’s just the magic of video editing but it looked like you skipped greasing up and anti-seize a few parts.
Nice tip on the passenger side axle shafts for anyone who finds this video and not spent months digging through UA-cam videos/forums/facebook groups like me before plugging my truck apart solo…
A a turn is 360deg. B he was doing ok until he started beating on the knuckles and and especially the spindles!! WTF!
😂😂😂😘
I'm interested in purchasing you're yellow body Bilstein shocks.
I sent you an Instagram message. I hope we can do business soon.
I only have the front four
To me, a rotation is 360°, not 180°.
Referring to what
@@ChaseGentry The rotation of the Heim joints.
Yeah right,,, you're going to get the steering knuckle off with just a hammer,,, you keep skipping over the hard stuff
🤣🤣🤣🤣 love all the engagement keep it coming!!
