Funnily enough, every winner except Scar died.
- Grian jumped off and died of fall damage
- Scott got /killed
- Pearl got soulbound killed
- Martyn ran out of time
- Scar submitted his task and no one killed him afterwards (at least in his video)
Im pretty sure Grian /killed martyn in limited life too, it was in a different pov though.

Scar and Scott technically won twice due to double victory shared with grian and double life being soul-linked
By the rules of the mechanics of the seasons, only Scott has technically won twice. 3rd Life could only ever have one winner just like Last Life and Limited Life could only have one. Double Life was the exception. Grian and Scar were asking if they could both win in hopes they didn't have to fight, but they had to, even the other dead players were calling for bloodshed between the two. Double Life is still Pearl's victory though.

@@thidasidupraveen8550 I'm well aware. I was saying that Scott winning Double Life has a much better argument than Scar does for winning 3rd Life, even though there's definitively one winner for both.
I love how all the other players make a whole deep dialogue when they win, meanwhile Scott puts confetti on the screen and celebrates profusely when he wins.
Its so interesting that Scar didnt die in his video. Everyone else died in their own way but Scar with only half heart didnt die at the end of all of it.
But scar being scar, he probably died off camera by fall damage 😅
Everyone dies eventually.

I appreciate the fact that pearl has only ever won one because she feels too bad about killing people and just half heartedly attacks people in the last sessions. That’s why she won double life, she didn’t feel bad about attacking anyone
You are on to something here. Pearl in her villain arc won. Then Martin in a last second villain arc also won. Then Scar, in his season long forced villain arc won as well.

They are very consistent
Ever since he got the low placement of 10th in 3rd Life, Scott has gotten 1st in Last Life, 2nd individual or dual 1st in Double Life, 3rd in Limited Life, and 4th in Secret Life
Meanwhile Pearl’s track record (considering that she was not in 3rd Life) is 4th in Last Life, 1st individual or dual 1st in Double Life, 4th again in Limited Life, and 2nd in Secret Life
If anyone is getting a second individual win first it will be one of them

Also, fun fact: Pearl apparently has the highest average rank among all players in the Life Series, at 2.75

Just don't look too much into it." And we all said that we did notice that she didn't use her bow against Scar and that she had 3 Golden Apples but decided not to eat them.

The end of Double Life still makes me tear up, and that finale speech by Martyn still gives me goosebumps. Still hoping for a Joel, Etho and Bdubs victory.

@@vemijoev what's going to further blow your mind is that the even numbered Life series don't use the three life system (Last Life gave players a random amount of lives, and Limited Life had time for their lives) and both of those had systems in place to get players more life. The even numbered ones also had the bogeyman system.

I feel like there is an unwritten rule of you can't win more than once. Because Smajor could've won in limited and double life but "sacrificed" himself, as well as Pearl didn't really fight back in secret life - she fought like she just didn't want to win.
idk about that tbh, maybe but they honestly just dont seem to want to- there really is no incentive to win, its just a "plot device" basically to drive the series forward and reach the last man standing outcome but theyre all friends and their real goal is making content
Yeah there defo is, Pearl said in some of her secret live vids that she was playing for bdubs to win, I image the previous victors are meant to act as guides for their teams and give their life it comes to it. Only time they would probably not do it this way would be if there were only victors left due to a stray creeper or something
I disagree on smajor as martyn killed him and impulse while they where off guard and he let gem kill him because he was one shot away from death, pearl on the other hand has said she has got a win under her belt and now want her allies to win as she wanted bigb to win limited life and either bdubs or joel to win secret life, and whenever her allies die she goes to the next in line (impulse In limited and scar in secret)

The reason why smajor wouldve won limited life is because he had about 5 hours? I think that much or around it compared to impluse and martyn who were under an hour. Smajor let them kill him to be on even time. He couldve easily won since of his extra hours. As well as on double life he sacrificed himself. Pearl is iffy @@TopHat0278

I mean Gem was pretty evil too it was really just an evil showdown at the end
with the 2 armies dynamic in 3rd life depending on your perspective grian could also be seen as the villain (it really looks like it from ren or martyn povs)

really, all of the winners could be interpreted as villains in the story depending on the pov you view them from. but scar and pearl definitely embraced their roles.
My ranking to the endings by how dramatic it was:
*1st: Double Life*
*2nd: Third Life*
*3rd: Limited Life*
*4th: Secret Life*
*5th: Last Life*
i'd say it's
1st: Limited Life
2nd: Double Life
3rd: Third Life
4th: Secret Life

Fun Fact: Grian and Martyn are the only 2 of the 5 winners to not be finalists twice

I find it interesting how everyone who went into the final session of Secret Life with over 30 hearts made the final 3
3rd - Gem: 57 hearts
2nd - Pearl: 50 hearts
1st - Scar: 40 hearts
I like how this is basically the opposite of Last Life, where the top 2 players were the ones who started with only 2 lives - Scott and Ren.
It's also funny that the ranking for the top 3 highest health at the start of the session is the reverse of the final three

I really like Martin's win honestly. Idk it's just clean in the sense that he did it to win and nothing else.
Also- saying pearl won double life and not Scott kinda negates the entire 'double life' thing. I would say they both won, though you could definitely give pearl a little more credit for doing most of the work to win at the end.

It started with The Grian & Scar duo and Grian won, and funnily enough it ended with Scar
Truly showing that they were destined to win from the start
To clarify, Only Grian won 3rd Life and only Pearl won Double Life
I started watching at Double Life, so this was interesting to see how the first 2 ended

bro in the double life series Pearl turned into a whole final boss in the end, she had an axe and some dogs and killed two teams of two people with worse armor Thain they had while laughing.

It was really hard to rank them because their endings are all pretty dramatic, Last Life is 5th in "drama" because Scott's cheerfulness and confetti was funni and a big contrast to the others. Also Limited Life and Secret Life have equally balanced drama/lore imo, but since SL fight was longer and everyone still had gear, SL was more intense for me.
Martyn's win is so satisfying, the good old betrayal

A theory I have so, notice how in almost every season, all the winners besides grian died without their own will like, Scott was literally killed mid air, pearl and Scott both died even thought pearl won and Martyn no matter what he did eventually even if he didn’t win he would’ve died anyway and I think scar didn’t get his reward for the secret and just kept getting “win secret life” bc I know everyone thinks the giant rock in the middle or secret keeper is a watcher, I think it’s kinda the watchers saying “no matter what you do, we always win” and it works with grian aswell bc he’s a watcher so if my theory is right (I know grian won) technically scar was the last person standing Grian being the last thing there meant he was going to end the seris idk I think it’s an interesting theory but ye

I would argue if there could only be one winner of double life, it would be Scott, since he did the final kill.
Sure, he blew up himself, but since there was no way for him to kill Pearl without ending himself, I'd argue it doesn't matter who he hit with his attack. Fact is, through the soul bond he got the final kill of another player.
Tbh though, the most logical thing is to count Scott and Pearl equally as winners. They're the winning team, even though they didn't act like a team throughout this series at all.
EDIT: apparently Grian explained somewhere sometime that the winner is the last name to displayed in a death message in chat

No offence to Scott but last life had the worst winner even though it was the best series. That was Joel’s session

He may have turned red too early but he was a nuisance throughout the entire season, also he might have gotten the most kills but I don't know if it's true.
I was hoping for him to win too but he was a bit too reckless and apart from Grian, I don't recall him having any other allies.

And this is why I don't understand people saying Scott is a great PVPer. He missed every long shot in his series win and only got a bunch because Ren doesn't fight real smart. Ren could easily rival Joel and other top PVPers if he didn't go barreling in full bore. I definitely see Pearl winning again in future Life series. Not Scott.
scott practically gave the win to martyn and REALLY gave the win to pearl just due to the fact that he had already won, he cohosts MCC theres no debate whether or not hes an amazing pvper
@@demi172 Except Double Life was before Scott's win. The bottom line is Scott has no real pvp skills. Build skills yes, brainstorming ideas of what to collab with others in builds yes, but not PVP. Mumbo is scarier than Scott and that's because you don't expect anything because it's Mumbo but Secret Life showed how insanely accurate Mumbo can be with redstone traps. Least if Grian, Scar or Joel aren't touching it lol
@@celticlionhow high are you? Double life was the 3rd life series while Last life (the one Scott won) was the 2nd life series. It just sounds like you hate Scott and that’s it. Your argument falls so far behind because Scott is an Admin or Co Admin (I don’t fully remember) of MCC, he’s places top 4 in the life series from Last life to Secret life (3rd life which was more or less a beta test for Grian he placed 10(?)) and if you looked Martyn finished Scott first because he’s more of a threat than Impulse which says a lot because Martyn is just as good at PVP as Scott is
