I love how grian realizes he has 1 death left, slips and falls, and manages to levitate to the only water block that is surrounded by any other blocks. He could’ve went to any other block and survived, but instead went towards the only spot that could’ve (and did) kill him.
His wish came through though! TIES in top 3, Etho did phenomenal use of skizz's time and Impulse destroyed everyone. For me impulse is the real winner of the series!
I'll be honest, I think that if you die of your own mistakes, and no-one else can take credit for it, then, while you should still lose 1 hour, you should also gain half an hour for the kill, totalling to a loss of only a half hour. So while it would still be punishing, it wouldn't be as punishing, and self responsible deaths would only be able to take you out of the game if you were under 30 minutes.
At first the win felt a bit cheap, but after all the alliances and betrayals, the greatest betrayal of them all was the most fitting end and is way more relevant than letting it be decided by a basic Minecraft pvp duel. The winner being any of the three that just happened to win that very specific, singular fist fight wouldn't have been as shocking as what we got: The winner being the one that played the Life game right.

They were the perfect people to pull that kind of betrayal on, actually. Scott and impulse are both very fair people. Of course Scott would suggest a fair fight and of course impulse would agree without suspicion. But martyn’s too slippery (and too much of an entertainer) to participate in a “fair fight” the same way he did in last life
That was the norm every other season
wow this was a great season. Honestly, I'm really looking forward to the next life series.
Impulses editing this season was SO GOOD!
Yeah I usually just watch Grian and Scar, but decided to watch Impulse cuz after watching pearl i knew he went into final 3
0:54 "ties gets to final three" - don't worry skizz, impulse'll make your dream come true o7
Awww I teared up at Impulse’s death, seeing how just as he was about to die, he flashed back to all the good times with his friends 😭
all these last words are really poetic
Martyn did Scott and Impulse DIRTY.
idk I liked the different final fight. we've seen the fist fight and final stand stuff in the past.
most of the people who are annoyed just didn't like that he killed Scott before Impulse. But I fully understand why he did it that way. Had it been him against Scott in the end, Scott would 100% have sacrificed himself so Martyn could win - and I think not only didn't Martyn wan't a repeat of the Double Life ending, he wanted to win on his own merits.
He's been top 3 in the last three series - he deserved the win in my book.
Not saying that Impulse didn't - I would have been just as happy if he won.
I agree, but they did themselves dirty for putting trust in him after he'd backstabbed everyone through the season.
What we take away from this is: never trust Martyn, always trust Scott.
It feels cheaty
@@RyanEglitis That is true though, we had some other betrayals, but this one just felt a bit too far

@@Kal798 lol yeah ik TvT
Skizz would be proud of impulse… second place was exactly what he was looking for
I think my favorite thing about this is how practically NONE of them are mad. Theyre all just having fun, its just sweet to me
The last clip was amazing!! The camera moving all over to show the chaos and then I guess his life flashing before his eyes!!
Skizz's makes me laugh and cry every single time I see it ♥ and Impulse's life flashing as he dies was sheer perfection.
Timmy going out first has got to be a Last Life series tradition now...
i like how cleo just laughs and goes "welp it was gonna come some day"
"I just wish you were better at this game." "Me too." sounds surprisingly dramatic for a bit.
Very nice ending cinematic of the final 3!
Grian had a large open area of water to land in, AND HE CHOSE THE 1X1 HOLE!!!!!!
EDIT: I even tested if you could even land in water 1 block deep. The water pool was at Y=64, My platform was at Y=201. Landed perfectly fine.
You can land in any depth of water (even the smallest flowing water type) and survive. This has been the case since 1.4.3, before which you needed three blocks to completely slow yourself down from large heights.
@@buriedalive3192 I already knew the landing at any depth thing, but not the bit about 1.4.3 and before. Nice.
that last ‘i just wish you were better at this game’ jab at skizz when he was literally sacrificing himself for them was so unprompted and so mean lmao i died
"I'VE FALLENNNN"
The last deaths were absolutely shocking though- holy crap
The moment I heard grian say how comfortable he was in sky net, I knew that it'd jinx him
Also they have to stop letting Scott get away with things, cuz he had many kills without anyone really going for him
People were constantly going for him 😂 he’s literally just that much more skilled at movement and pvp than the majority of the other players
Unsurprisingly, many of their last words consisted of either "Noooo!" or some variety of yell/ scream.
After the quad kill, I was sure grian was gonna win it, then he jumped off the bridge
this is so much more emotional than it has any right to be
"I've got it- I'VE FALLEN!"

"DON'T TELL TIM!"
Joel's death is so climactic, you can really see him fighting for his life there. Bad boys fight to the end o7
"that's mean" Scar's last words
Skizz was the only one who did the smart thing and gave up the rest of his time to his ally instead of trying to desperately extend his own (I especially disliked when an ally gave up their time to save the lower time in those cases)
this is my favourite Minecraft PVP series ever
I love how grian realizes he has 1 death left, slips and falls, and manages to levitate to the only water block that is surrounded by any other blocks. He could’ve went to any other block and survived, but instead went towards the only spot that could’ve (and did) kill him.
Joel's 'Grian, this is not going well' is actually kinda sad lmao
i would absolutely love to see Seananners in one of these sessions, just for old times' sake
Woah. That’s a name I haven’t heard in a long while. I don’t think he’s PG enough for this crowd 😂

Martyn really likes listening to the Watchers
I thought the ones talking to him were listeners?? I’m not caught up on the lore tho tbh
the watchers are the ones that feed off of negative emotions, such as betrayal@@allenbuddy3101

"Going down in a blaze of glory..." - Skizz
"Oh oh jeez"- Joel"

All the bad boys died how they lived. On the Bread Bridge.
Skizz went out like a true hero for his group. Legend
this feels like watching a compilation of deaths on a show like the walking dead
Martyn taking the win like a G. Also cementing the fact that you won't be able to trust him at all next season. GG everyone.
Jimmy: I HATE MYSELF
GRIAN: “don’t tell him how I died”
oooooo nooooooo… Grain really screamed in lower case.
Nice! I hate how skizzle went out though
His wish came through though! TIES in top 3, Etho did phenomenal use of skizz's time and Impulse destroyed everyone. For me impulse is the real winner of the series!
Jimmy hovering over the ender pearl in his hotbar before dying of fall damage was painful to see.
It feels almost sad to see them actively trying to kill each other, and I have no idea why
Someone tell me why I got green goblin vibes from Grians Death saying don’t tell Tim. Too goblins Don’t tell Harry. Anyone else?
I enjoy thoroughly ty so much
Solidarity: “I’ve fallen!”
Skizzle: “Me too”
Joel: “Grain it’s not going well”
BdoubleO: “Ah!”
Tango: *heavy breathing*
Scar: “You hit a man in the back”
BigB: “What… NOO”
Grian: “It’s getting pretty despe- oh noooo”
Etho: “oh no no no”
Pearl: “Scar I swear this isn’t fair”
Impulse: “oh no”
Scott: “Martyn”
I'll be honest, I think that if you die of your own mistakes, and no-one else can take credit for it, then, while you should still lose 1 hour, you should also gain half an hour for the kill, totalling to a loss of only a half hour. So while it would still be punishing, it wouldn't be as punishing, and self responsible deaths would only be able to take you out of the game if you were under 30 minutes.
Bro had pearls and a bucket next to his potatoes, but just kept holding onto his potatoes.. LOOOOL
Kinda feel like Martyn really did a dick move there ngl
it was for his lore and he was most likely to win if the 1v1v1 did actually happen too
as is always repeated in the life series, it’s just friends having fun, and doesn’t actually matter, the goal is not winning, the goal is having fun.
All the bad boys died from falling on accident 🤣
TBF, Joel died from getting shot
I love how cinematic Impulse is with his death
Martyn just went "Screw the Rules" moment to take the win.
as if there are any rules in the life series lmao
joel reminded me of spiderman "grian its not going so well" "mr stark i dont feel so good"
