    I love a beef soup when I was a kid, now I’m a pescatarian I miss it so much 🤣🤣🤣 now I do fish soup. I gotta have boatloads of cassava, dumpling and eddos in my soup those are my favourite provisions. My mouth is running water. 🇬🇾💚

    Question Candy.
    What's the reason for resting the food (yam etc) in water?

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  2 роки тому +2

      It prevents it from oxidizing. Turning dark in color.

    When that soup left over next day, it don't have no gravy, all the duff and provisions suck up it

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  2 роки тому +2

      That's true but I add alittle water and more seasoning to reheat and its perfect.

    Makes no sense as to why the beef would be cooked separately. The meat should be used as the base to build the flavor of any type of soup or even stew or curry with meat.

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  Рік тому

      It makes lots of sense for people who don't want to wait hours for meat to boil before they can enjoy some soup. When you season your food the way I do you don't need flavor from meat. If thays what you prefer that's fine but it's not needed in this recipe.
