I really like the Micron. The sound is not too loud, yet has a very nice deep tone--and breathes better from 9800 to 10800. I don't think the Micron is available anymore. I bought a like-new system from a friend who went with a Titanium system to save two pounds and get a little more HP. The seat is a Corbin Smuggler--very comfortable. I keep the original for two up.
How have you found the Micron system to date? Where did you purchase it and price paid, I am considering selling my RS3 slip ons and getting a full Micron system, would appreciate your feedback. Also is the rear seat cowl a Corbin as I have a gunfighter and lady but would like to buy a rear cowl, have considered pyramid but unsure if it will fit the corbin seat.
Hi, The seat is a Corbin Smuggler-the cowl is part of the seat. The cowl has a small storage compartment which has a lock on it. The seat/cowl combo come off together with the ignition key inserted near the license plate. Since I made the impromptu video many years ago, I have added a full Ohlins suspension (front and back). A major difference in the handling and addresses the Blackbird's only real weakness (suspension). Good luck and keep the rubber-side down.
