- *******SPOILERS FOR AHSOKA SERIES EPISODE 5 "Shadow Warrior"******* even though i don't think a spoiler alert is necessary anymore since this episode changed the course of history and im pretty sure everyone and their mother has seen it by now hence why Disney+ crashed when i tried to log in 😆

it has been so amazing to see Hayden Christensen back in Star Wars and to watch him receive the love he deSERVES!!!!!
now that the SAG-AFTRA & WGA strikes have reached a fair resolution, I can finally upload these reactions! Please forgive the delay, and know that I am so thankful for your patience and for all of the nice comments of understanding and support that I received from you guys during this break throughout the strikes 🩵
Even though the series is complete in it's entirety, I still wanted to share my reactions since this turned out to be one of my favorite live action Star Wars shows!! Perhaps I will do a full review later to share my thoughts on the series as a whole...until then, thank you guys so much for watching, and thank you again for your patience!

Hayden's acting here is top notch and I love watching it! It legit feels like he was born for this role. Switching so effortlessly between light/dark, he is the balance!
Also Huyang's "I told them to stay together, but they never listen", tugged at the heartstrings, that droid has feels.
That I've heard that before was a nice reference to luke in ROTJ... Dave is trying to kill us with happiness 😊
Crazier even thing is that Hayden was the one who suggested that line and Dave approved
The detractors of this series had a major problem with Anakin's lesson not understanding what it was that Anakin was trying to teach Ahsoka. Myself and others I have been trying to show them that Anakin was doing exactly what he needed to do in order to get through to his very stubborn Padawan. In an effort to teach her the lesson that the Grand Master had tried to teach him so many years earlier within the timeline(train yourself to let go, of EVERYTHING you fear to lose). Since the fear of the dark side that Anakin had within him and how she was blind to it has basically prevented her from being the teacher that she needed to be for Sabine( and if you recall this was the very reason why she refused to teach Grogu). Your Gandalf comparison is very apt since Dave describe Ahsoka in the Mandalorian end at the end of rebels as the difference between Ahsoka the gray and Ahsoka the white. And we definitely needed to see that and I'm so glad they showed us
This episode is one of the best pieces of Star Wars I've ever seen. Seeing Hayden back in the role of Anakin is amazing, especially seeing him in Clone Wars armour and interacting with Ahsoka. Really hope that Dave Filoni is nominated for an Emmy for his incredible writing and directing.

Baby Gamora was a perfect choice. Ariana Greenblatt is a very talented young lady. Cool that she and Ahsoka were actually the same age in these scenes. She's 16 now. It will be fun to see where her career leads her.

Yeah when they were fighting on malachor he was actively trying to kill her. Hear this was just sparring no different than when he and Obi-Wan were sparring in the Kenobi show. What I was meaning by full potential is seeing Anakin without any cybernetics, what's full Dark Side power was what Palpatine was hoping for with Anakin. Something that and I don't know if this actually did carry over from the old expanded universe but in that scenario he blamed Anakin for losing to Obi-Wan on Mustafar. But the Silver Lining that Palpatine saw in there was Anakin would never be able to alone take Palpatine down. And that added effect of having the digitizing of his voice when he said you lack conviction sold at least in my mind and I know that there are others who feel this that this was definitely Anakin tapping into his dark side in order to show her that hey you need to stop being stubborn one has shown in many years that she has been around it is that she can be as stubborn as he can

He Returned to help but The Fight back in Ahsoka!!! Straight up Rocky Mickey Moment! Not in her Head Anakin pulled Her into The World Between Worlds⚡ I will not fight you.."I have heard that before ;) Nice callback to Return of The Jedi 💚 Seeing Hayden muscle memorys with a Saber love it! And Boom! 💥🤯 Pulls her back to Clone War's in Live Action!!!! Anakin teaching her to Live or Die aka Get up and Fight! And How he can Balance Light and Darkside now as Force Ghost now! And just like Luke in ROTJ "Choose to Live!" Happy tears There's Hope for You Yet" 🎆🤘 Ending with Ahsoka reborn as The White And a bit more Powerful 🧡💙🤘 Phenomenal Episode! And Priceless reaction Cat 👌
Many people do not remember but Hayden and Ewan got so good at the Mustafar choreography that that footage is not sped up. The start of that duel they are legitimately that fast. So the fact that Hayden still retains very much of that and we know that you and does because we saw that even has still got it from the scenes we got of him in the Kenobi series.

@@CatherineLaSalle Ahsoka has died twice now on Mortis and here. If you don't know who Abeloth is (old cannon character who was basically the mother to the father/son/daughter Mortis gods) go read up her Wookieepedia page, I think season two will have a lot to do with her, and I think Filoni is going to make her the original great mother that the night sisters draw their power from. Just a hunch I have no inside info.

Anakin could choose any form he wanted to look like but he chose his younger self for obvious reasons who wouldnt .. yeah he's definitely the Mortis father now, and a alittle more because even the father of mortis admitted Anakin was even more during that story arc.. and we got to finally see it perfectly done.

Hiya Padme. I've been wondering where this particular reaction was. I love sharing Star Wars experiences with you. It's more fun when the reactor really cares about the content.
The first two minutes, it was like you had chugged five espressos! But I completely understand because I was more apprehensive for this episode than since Ahsoka first showed up in Mandalorian.

I love how his technique changes once he turns to the Dark Side. I practice Xingyi Quan, a hand-to-hand combat technique that I've been told is the "Dark Side" of forms. I see why now. There's no elegance in Sith Anakin's form, only force, very similar to the Xingyi Quan form in the way that it's all about overwhelming your opponent.

Fun true story @CatherineLaSalle: A week and a half after seeing this episode, I got to meet Ashley Eckstein on my birthday. I told her what Ahsoka meant to me and she gave me a big hug. Then she sang happy birthday to me. I swear, it was the best birthday I’ve ever had.

My favorite episode in this series, pure Starwars epicness, Not only was it shot beautifully, it felt like a space dream and such a wonderful tribute to Anakin Skywalker, it brought a tear to my eye. And when you mention Gandalf and Dune is why I love you and want to marry you Cat. 💝

When I saw Ep3, I always thought Dark Anakin (as I called Vader pre-suit) would look extra amazing with a red blade and always wished it had been red all along but I totally get that there wouldn’t have been time to switch blades in the narrative. I didn’t realize just how MUCH I really wanted Dark Anakin with the red blade and how awesome it would look until I saw this episode. So so so good

Did you notice that some of the 501st members here playing the roles of the 332 had the Ashoka colors on their armor like they did in the show. There were 3 such troopers that came from the garrison up in ME at the RI comic con this year.
It's such an amazing feeling seeing new Star Wars content that does right by the legacy that is Anakin Skywalker. A lot of people hear that name and don't feel anything, because it doesn't mean anything. But when "we" hear it, we feel as if we are veterans and witnesses of those wars, physical and emotional. When "we" watch this, we dont just all become members of the Skywalker family. We become more than that, because they are more than that!(see what I did there😉)

There is no light side, there is no dark side; there is only the Force. Anakin has become the Avatar of the Force. Had he fought Ahsoka at his present abilities, she would have died so fast she wouldn't have known it. What he is now is the perfect master. If you Yoda, Windu, Kenobi and Qui Gon were reunited for the express purpose of fighting him to the death, all of them would walk away, knowing it would be their death. If Sidious faced this Anakin, it would be brown trousers time for the Sith.

I’m pretty sure someone has said this already but in Attack of the clones he tells Padme that he’ll learn how to stop people from dying….He saved the one he loved. He stopped Ahsoka from dying
It was amazing to see Anakin good again, and have control of both sides of him but still stay good. He realizes his evil past and knows that that doesn't define him.
I have my opinions about that. As many said already he became the mortis god. This could mean, long story short, anything is possible. Here he is not a force ghost, it's like his natural enviroment, he is tangible and you can interact with him. He mantains all his memory (hence he isn't a force illusion) "I will not fight you [father]". The force has... some kind of design, we still know little about the world within worlds, I think it is not possible to change the outcome of an event based on the will of the force, still he can move himself and others in past and future. It would be orgasmic if Anakin shows up PHYSICALLY to save Ahsoka, which I believe he could if he wanted to (he did save Luke once doing this). He is the balance, that looks pretty clear to me. There is one problem, or they give us enough Anakin to keep us thirsty for more, or they give it all. I heard them saying "We haven't finished with Anakin". We are all super SW geeks, so this is still in the spectrum Disney can make with Filoni. To some extent at least. Guys Anakin became god, the embodiement of the force itself, Is there something he is not attuned with the force enough to do whatever he wants? they have all windows open. I personally say gimme moar Hayden. That's just my opinion, if you read it, throw it away. As of now it can go any direction, what I wrote is what I'd like to see, that doesn't mean you guys shouldn't have your own hypotesis on that matter, I like to listen all really, therefore I respect all opinions, until those come from the mouth of a solid fan, they're good to me.

Perfect review. Not only did you “Get It” in a way 90% of other reviewers and reactors only grasped a few of the themes, you NAILED IT! This entire episode was about Ahsoka’s transformation and leaving the weight of the perceived darkness and weight of Anakin’s imprint on her soul behind giving her a rebirth into the Jedi she was meant to be. Congratulations! And that Gandalf parallel was of course fully intended. Filoni is a huge LOTR fan and joyfully included this homage knowing how many fans would recognize and appreciate it. Star Wars is Reborn!

Dark side Anakin is more terrifying than Darth Vader, in my opinion.
Full form Vader should be the ‘scarier’ of the 2. When we see dark side Anakin we at least see what he once was and have hope they might come back. When we see Vader we are shocked that there was a truly good Jedi underneath.

I agree, ROTS dark Anakin and here, is scarier than Vader imo. Putting a human face on the evil for me plays a big part of that and Hayden does it so well.
