Graceland Guesthouse Tour

  • The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis opened on October 27, 2016. The 450-room hotel is next door to the Graceland mansion. It replaced the old aging Heartbreak Hotel which was across the street from Graceland.
No expense was spared in making the seven-story Guest House a true luxury experience for visitors. It offers 159 king rooms and 271 queen rooms starting at $149 a night. For the high rollers, there are 20 themed suites on the top floor renting for up to $3,000 a night. Among the suites are the “Vernon and Gladys,” the “TCB,” the “Palm Springs,” and the “King’s Suite,” said to be patterned on Elvis’s own living quarters upstairs at Graceland. The hotel’s amenities include a swimming pool, five restaurants, and a 464-seat theater. Special Elvis-related highlights include a white grand staircase lit by a chandelier, which is a larger replica of one hanging in Graceland’s foyer. The lobby ceiling conjures up the image of a Presley jeweled cape, and the TCB logo lightning bolt is evident here and there throughout the hotel.
The hotel decor had a 50s vibe and was designed NOT to have Elvis pictures everywhere. They wanted it to have the FEEL of Elvis. It was done in good taste and would be something that Elvis himself would have loved.
The Graceland mansion is just steps away from the Guest House. Also on the property is The Chapel in the Woods which is a location for a lot of weddings. It is nestled in the woods between the Guest House and the Graceland mansion. It is definitely worth walking the path to see this beautiful chapel.
We highly recommend staying at the Graceland Guest House. It is gated and very secure.

I had no idea there was an Elvis-themed hotel next door to Graceland. That is awesome. It looks so beautiful too. I bet those expensive suites upstairs are amazing. I love that they have some lounge chairs in the pool too. What an amazing property. This is going to be a must do for us whenever we make it to Memphis. Thanks for introducing us to the Graceland Guesthouse.

Beautiful hotel and fun tour. This hotel is Elvis! However, there are some less desirable things such as too much room taxing in addition to regular tax and charging $6 for bottled water when we didn’t drink it. This video is spot on though!

Wow! You were actually charged for the water?? We didn’t drink ours either! Too much $ for water

Looks like the only place to stay if your visiting, Graceland. Loved the tour and the welcome from the restaurant staff, Terri and Keith! While we may enjoy one of the theme rooms, we'll stay in something less expensive too. Nice pool area. Perfect for a nap! Wonderful tour! But who were the two lovely ladies sitting with you at the end, Terri? Enquiring (okay nosey) minds want to know!

I do not believe Elvis would have loved this hotel decor…. I’ve always wanted to visit but it’s a mix between an Elvis theme park and a motel 6.

We thought it was tastefully done. It wasn’t too over the top. We had not visited the Heartbreak Hotel before it closed to see what it was like.

Anyone can visit and walk around the hotel but it does cost to stay there and is oftentimes full so reservations are required to be sure you have a room.
