Man, this edit somehow manages to really express how special this game is. The music while walking in the landscapes conveys the beauty and emotions we felt on this solitary journey to bind the world back whole. Imagine those that played this during COVID.
By following Sam Porter opening up to others we are reminded, like him, of what it is to be human, and why it is worth to keep it going on. By walking towards others to help them, but also to let others help us, we create something called a community: that is, the dilution of unbearable individual struggles, into a collective pool. This network leads us to share memories, dreams, hope, despair, regret, sadness, redemption, grief, hatred, love, sorrow, joy. But all of this only means something if they live on in others after we are gone.
Hell is to be the last alive and know that nothing after us will remain but the void. Like Sam with BB we therefore come to the realiztion that all life is precious and we must do everything we can to keep it going, even at the cost of our own.
A junction in my being had to adjust to make space for this game. Its veil will remain upon me for a long time. Thanks Hideo. And thank you to all those that left a rope, a ladder, a bridge on my way to help me out. I never took it for granted. And thank you @Ironsteffl for making this beautiful edit.
