Last year, we released the video "Top five megastars of Danish design you need to know." We provided you with an introduction to the most important persons and shared some interesting anecdotes about them. We spoke about Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wegner, Børge Mogensen, Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm. However, the challenge was selecting just five individuals from the large number of talented designers. As a result, several important names were sadly left out. Therefore, we have decided to follow up with another video, with an additional five designers you simply must know about!
In this video we're talking about: Verner Panton, Grete Jalk, Arne Vodder, Nanna Ditzel and Ib Kofod-Larsen.

Great video! If you ever happen to come to Hamburg don't miss the "Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe". They have a room that was designed by Verner Panton - it's a canteen created for the Spiegel publishing house in the 60s.

Love this video. Thanks for all your hard work. If you do another video can you include the designs of Jens Quistgaard? I collected several Dansk cast iron candelabra, pepper mills and quite a few pieces of wooden table ware ( salad bowls, ice bucket, carving trays) over the years before I became aware that they were not only produced by the same company but they were designed by the same person. His esthetic is very recognizable. I think this is a trait that defines many of the great designers.

I’ve watched most of your videos on UA-cam and love your content, and your way of working together!
    I have an odd question:
Given that this channel is about all things Swedish (design) , is it a cultural thing , if someone insults (Swedish person)you, you consider them dead to you, and you are committed to that point of view forever? Or just the Swedish people I know?

Haha yeah! We should! Do you live in Australia? Sanna has a relative living in Perth but we havn't had the possibility to visit there yet. Would be really interesting to have a look at the Australian design scene!
