I just got a FM9 for my Birthday, this series has been a Godsend, thank you! Quick question, in several videos you reference deeper dives into dialing in tones (like Mesa settings) but I don't see them on the playlist. Am I looking in the wrong spot?
This was super helpful. Well done, sir. I just discovered your channel and, for sure, I will be spending a bunch of time going through your videos as I learn the FM9. Thanks so much for your efforts to share all of this info!!
Hi Rush, here is what I have in mind. Scene #1 Ch A = Double Verb Silver . Scene #2 Ch B = Mesa Boogie. Scene #3 Ch C = Brit JVM. Scene #4 Ch D = Deluxe Verb Vib. Scene #5 Ch A = Double Verb Silver with a Timothy drive in front of amp. Scene #6 Ch A = Double Verb Silver with a FAS -LED drive in front of amp Scene #7 = Null filter with a 3db boost which can be activated in any of these Scenes when selected. I would like to know if this would work. I have a similar setup on my AX8 using presets instead of Scenes, but I believe this is what I need the FM9 to do with one preset and 7 scenes. Thank you kindly for your input & help. I am glued to your videos. The more I watch the more I learn. Thanks again.
Hey Juan This would all work. You just need to make sure you program each scene with the correct channel on the amp block and whatever effects you want engaged and then save the preset as such.
Realistically going from A to B to C and D is going to be an audio latency. So would it be better if you have the CPU to create two blocks and switch back and forth to the channels? Example amp 1 channel A, amp 2 channel A and so on. That way you can get eight different amp setups that you can have seamless Gap switching?
If I understand correctly, Yes this would work. Also, if you "pre-load" the channel you plan to switch to, you can switch to it in a scene without a gap.
Absolutely the best videos on Fractal products - thank you for putting these together - much appreciated!
Thanks for watching!
The content is great! I have been a long time AX8 user and I just got my FM9 in yesterday.
Awesome!
Thanks, great tutorial. Helped quell a couple of frustrations I didnt know how to get around. All of sudden everything makes sense.
Thanks!

Look in the axeFX3 Playlist. I go into deep dives on certain types of amps there.
