So I only watched reactions to Velma, never the actual show, and those reaction were unbearable to get through. I did however watch the Halloween special. Honestly I thought the whole thing was just stupid and a waste of time. My advice if you want to watch go ahead but when you get the part that seems like the perfect ending turn the TV off, never mind that there are still a few minutes left of the show, just cut it you'll be much happier
Honestly, this Velma show shouldn't have even gotten approved for a single pilot episode, let alone it lasting two seasons. This show should have gotten vetoed during the pre-production phase. This show was HORRIBLE in so many multiple ways. The sad part is that there are numerous shows throughout the decades which lasted only one season or in some cases a single pilot episode which were more deserving of a second season that this Velma show. Now.. I don't normally cheer when a show gets cancelled and I normally have a soft spot for shows that aren't very popular and will praise them when no one else wants to praise them. EXAMPLE: the 1990's FOX show known as "Woops!" is regarded by some "pro critics" as one of the worst shows ever. However, I sat down and saw the entire 10 episode series and the show actually kept getting better and better despite it's rough start and I actually wish the show had lasted longer than it did. Complete opposite of Velma which started off horrible and kept getting worse and worse to the point where I'm HAPPY it got cancelled.
@@johnpenguinthe3rd13 They greenlit this Velma series because they thought that having a show that insulted the source material, the fans, animation on a whole and promoted an Indian Velma as a self hating, annoying pain in the neck who of course had to be a lesbian would appeal to the phantom audience that they keep claiming exist.....Well they got a rude awakening when this trainwreck aired and now everyone is happy it has been cancelled

@@patrickmcguire7896 That is the most cryptic and disturbing warning I've ever heard about a Halloween special.....Maybe I should watch it?

I'm black and I felt like it was disrespectful making her black cause it was giving Black wash and it was cringe anyway so thank God it's done 🤷🏾♀️
