Ok so uuu… no. Ranma will not turn everyone trans. No one is claiming this… But for people who are trans but haven’t realize that for themself, the original anime did this for many people. They aren’t basing this on nothing. It already happened with the original so they’re saying it could happen again. That said… claiming it’s a trans allegory is possibly silly. I can imagine the creator never intended for this because it’s not really made to be supportive of being trans. The leaps these nuts go to sometimes is insane. Heck from a certain point of view wouldn't Ranma 1/2 be against trans? Think about Ranma didn't ask to be able to switch genders it was forced upon him This remined me of Galaxy DC trans hero. Her origins are she's a purple skinned alien princess who's planet was under attack and she fled and disguised herself as human. Thing is her human disguise her as a human male and she grows up on earth as a boy till she sheds her disguises and lives her life as a purple skinned alien girl. Galaxy is supposed to be a Tran's icon but if anything its anti trans! Galaxy was born female but forced to be male, if anything this is against parents gender changing their kids! Also when Galaxy goes back to being an alien girl they make a big deal of her being outcast to represent kids who transition but its more over the fact that she's a purple skinned alien and not a human rather than what gender she is.

I never watched the original series but I have been watching the reboot, and yeah so far its a lot of fun. However when the reboot was annocend I was dreading it because I knew articles like this would pop up

Their was a popular Anime called Fruit Basket in which a certain family had members that would turn into Chinese zodiac animals if they got too close to the opposite gender. By these peoples crazy logic they'd say Fruit Basket was meant to make people into furryies or into bestiality or promote homosexuality. For the record Fruit Basket was an amazing deep and dramatic series and should never be spoken bad of EVER!

I actually liked Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Hell I thought it was the best recent Marvel show! It was way more entertaining than Avengers Assemble, 2018 Spiderman etc.. Yeah ok it had a nonbinary character but they were literally a side character and was barley in the show. The show was diverse and yeah "progressive" but it wasn't in a preachy Cringe way like the Proud Family reboot. Also the show actually made me care about the characters and their personal relationships which even Marvel TV has struggled to make me feel. And of course it got canceled right after a climatic tense battle with a huge cliffhanger. This also reminds me of The Owl House, that show had a huge fanbase yet the show got its seasons cut and its final season was just 3 hour long episodes. It was shocking since to show was "Progressive" but actually well written which almost never happens! The main couple were lesbians but they were cool well written characters. There was a nonbinary chanter and they were awesome, mainly because said characters never spent 15 minutes lecturing us about their pronouns, instead the character is just preferred to as "they" without an introduction and nonbinary is never mentioned. It just seems like Disney isn't willing to back it animation department even if they do a better job with LGBTQ+ characters and black Marvel Superheroes then their Live action series.

It breaks my heart to see the animation industry and channels like these suffering.

So while I get your fed up with the troupe of villains using the media to easily manipulate people into turning on heroes I do have some comments about the shows you referenced. With "My Adventures of Superman" given that this world hasn't had heroes it makes since that they would be questioning the motives and actions of a newcomer and since he's still so new it makes since the public would be easily swayed. The problem though is it should've been a season 1 or season 2 plot, having it in both seasons just makes the show feel repetitive. As for Young Justice you're forgetting the time skips. In season one the media was on the Justice Leagues side but between season, that being 5 years the villains had slowing been turning the media against them by calling out their mistakes and us fear of the constant alien invasions to mistrust the league. And during that season the League was exposed about keeping the Watchtower a secret and their was the whole League member on space trial, plus remember Luthor was the one to supplied the League with tech to save the world from the Reach Endgame which easily won him over to the public which is how he got elected to run the UN. So by the time we get to season 3 after a two-year time skip Luthor's swap over public opinion is way more believable. The reason Waller's Absolute Powers thing failed was because they rushed Waller corruption of the public. Yeah their was that Beast World event but in universe that happened months ago and was mainly the alien Starro's fault, if the people of earth weren't turned into animals they'd be enslaved by Starro. Also the main reason why it worked in those shows was because that show's universe was just starting with its own history and continuity it doesn't work in comics because its been done to death and again the heroes have decades of experience as well as good reps for everyone to be fooled like this.

Yeah this article is bogus! Batman has always respected both his parent and both are important to his backstory. If they wanted to be credible then they should've talked about Superman & Supergirl. For Superman his dad Jor-El is way more present, all the video messages star him as do all the recordings, his mother Lara is almost never featured. They did try to fix this in the New 52 and make her out to be a general and warrior but I doubt anyone remembers it. It's the opposite for Supergirl, her mom is the only one featured in flashbacks or messages, whether its the comics, CW show, That awful Legion of Superheroes movie, its just her mom her dad isn't even present.

This issue actually united the fanbases, no one liked it or even understood it! For those extreme few who are "fans" of Jon Kent this was a baffling decision since aside from weirdly being fans of Jay it made no since given that Dreamer and Jon have barley had any screen time together or important moments alone together, it all just comes out of left field. Then their are the normal fans who are sick of DC comics treating Jon like the greatest hero ever, that whole dream sequence was their attempt to highlight what a better hero he is than his dad, once more we're supposed to feel sympathy for him do it him being mind controlled, except that doesn't not only because we don't like him but Mind control in comics is so common its not that big a deal, especially with all the deaths getting retconned (Spoiler but Dreamer isn't really dead).And then theirs the whole San Francsico thing, yeah that was cringe for everyone. Ok so I only read the first two issues of sirens, but I don't remember the artwork for the female leads being this bad. Also the thing that stood out to me for the first two issues was hoe detailed and hot the artiest made the Himbo henchmen Cowboys (who may have been hypnotized or possessed) and there is nothing wrong with that especially since the comic is for a female audience it makes sense for the males to be that attractive. But that raises two questions, since you didn't bring them up, I have to ask, are the men better drawn in issue #4? The other question is why is ok to make men sexy but not women? Look I'm not saying they should all have big racks and buns but at the very least their faces should be nice to look at!

This story doesn't look very good. I didn't mind the black girl with the pink hair but that outfit she was wearing was awful. Plus, I could see her getting emotional but her emotions were too quick changing. It would work if they said she was bipolar and off meds or something, even multiple personalities. And why is Kitty going out with a girl? That's weird.

It's just another Red haired character getting 'swapped' for another character. Why do they hate redheads so much? It took me out of the story completely, even though the rest of the comic was alright. Not spectacular, but alright. The swaps and character assassinations of characters on Caped Crusader really disappointed me. I love Batman and his universe, which has plenty of 'diverse' characters already. They do it due to pressure from the left, or because they have no other ideas. 'Tis sad.

So something I've realized is that Acolytes claim to fame is being the "gayest show ever" Same with Agatha all Along, but after thinking it over both shows really aren't that gay. Think about in Acolyte we only really have two confirmed gay characters the space witch moms, the other witches haven't been confirmed gay. But how is that groundbreaking? Tons of shows and movies have same sex parents and their only flashback characters. And given that the main character Osha fell to the dark side do to hot man abs I'd say its safe to say she's either straight or Bi. My point is the so called Acolyte fans and the so called Acolyte actors are claiming this show was revolutionary with its gay representation when in reality their was hardly any of that in the show

The one thing in Absolute Batman #1 I didn't like was the Joker tease. I agree completely with you this was not necessary! Let the other villains have the spotlight for awhile, I also didn't like that they made him a parallel with the main universe Bruce Wayne. Well hopefully he isn't a major player for this arc and we won't see much of him for awhile. I'm also hoping that in Absolute Superman they don't have Lex Luthor in the first issue. Also was curious about your thought on another thing in this issue. How do you feel about Batman having one of his parent alive? I don't think I've heard of an elsworld where that happened. I'm curious to see how this plays out

Here's the thing Swaps can actually work you just need some actual writing put into it. For example, one of my favorite Sci-fi shows is the Battlestar Galactica remake they gender swapped the character of Starbuck and it worked because girl Starbuck was an interesting compelling deep character. Then with Marvel they race swapped Nick Fury and no one complained because he was still awesome! Whether it be in comics or Avengers EMH or the MCU people just liked him as a character. As for sexuality swaps so long as it's not in a mainstream universe where they have been conically straight with many relationships to back it then it also can work. For me personally I liked Alan Scott from New 52 Earth 2 as well as Wolverine from earth 12025 who was in charge of Canada and was dating Hercules, that guy worked because he still had Wolverines charm and golden claws much stronger than the normal ones. So yeah the trick to making these swaps work is top actually write good characters (Which is writing 101 but clearly most people need to be reminded of that) Well wait as see how this Barbara works out

So here's how I describe "Woke". It's not something that stars or centers around someone that isn't a white straight male. It's something that focus solely on a characters gender/race/sexuality but neglects basic writing a structure and good story telling as well as character development resulting in a terrible story/movie especially if most of the time is spent villainizing and demeaning the opposite of said characters gender/race/sexuality. Basically terrible written stories/movies/shows/comics that center more around gender/race/sexuality. I do agree people shouldn't just call something woke right off the bat and wait till it comes out to make a decision or call it "woke" over one tiny thing like with Absolute Batman.
