100% agree! Once I started cutting out carbs and incorporating more protein into my diet (in addition to going to the gym more), I started losing weight. 75lbs down and counting 💪
As a certified nutritionist, when I recommend increased protein to my clients, who are women over 50, many panic. They have been taught calorie reduction for most of their life. Thank you for sharing these studies as this can help support what I am teaching them. Some are still of the mind that protein is going to cause atherosclerosis or increase their cholesterol levels.
I have always been a fitness enthusiast and even though I worked out frequently (HIIT, running and strength training), I developed lower back pain/sciatica nerve pain, that's when I stumbled upon the keto/carnivore diet 5 months ago. My back healed within a month of keto and now I'm on a high protein diet - carnivore (majorly red meat and eggs) with a little keto and feel great.
These last months, they are saying that fasting is bad, protein is bad, saturated are bad, specially from eggs, even strength training is bad, but if you really really check who's behind from all those studies, the same companies appear.
Yet another reason why I do Atkins and NOT keto. Lost 45lbs last year doing this (yes, along with running, walking, resistance training and drastically reducing my ultra-processed food intake). Reading some of the comments in this and other videos I'm convinced there are a lot of people who think they're doing keto when in fact they're actually doing Atkins instead. Atkins is high protein, moderate fat and low carb (I'm not talking about their products which I have never purchased). Keto is high fat, moderate protein and ultra low carbs to the point that IMO most people cannot sustain that. Anyway, this video just validates what I have already known.
On balance, I have to agree. Particularly in my case. I started LCHF seven years ago, but soon realised that it was more low carb, high protein. Not that there was any deliberate effort to avoid fat. Whilst I was never tempted by the whole bullet proof coffee, or MCT oil nonsense, I do enjoy butter, cream and cheese. Seven years in, and I'm still going strong. So, to those who argue that it is too difficult, or dangerous to follow long term, I'd like to see the evidence. Perhaps, this argument is made in reference to the so called 'lion diet' - steak and water- which I would find unnecessarily limited.
Thank you for making this. I learned a lot. Once I upped my protein intake to recommend levels, I lost my intense craving for eating dessert after every meal. Working out and eating a lot of protein is helping me reach my goals. Currently down 17 pounds in a few months.
So grateful that people who actually enjoy the research part are getting online and sharing the latest and greatest. I'm sure not getting this info at school or from the regular doctor! 🙏
Hay Mike, very timely as I took the world carnivore challenge January 1st, it’s so true about satiety with protein and saturated fat. I’m 70 days in and I’m down about 7 lb but all my muscles are benefiting from all the meat in particular red meat. I feel great and it’s because I don’t crave the carbs, all the KETO snacks and breads were creeping into my diet making weight loss impossible so I started carnivore. Did a DEXA scan last month BMI 28 but my lean muscle mass and bone density are at the top of my age group but I do have to lose 20 lb of fat. Never lost weight like this while staying muscular fit and satiated at 58 years young.
I’ve spent the last 6 weeks intermittently fasting every other day and on those days having a whey protein shake made with milk and collagen for lunch. I’ve gone from 220lbs to 200lbs. I’m 58 yrs old and 6ft3. I don’t miss the food I’m not eating.
67 yo 6’2” male. Last April was diagnosed as pre-diabetic with a fatty liver with BW of 226lb and A1C of 58. The fatty liver scared me the most. Initially cut out all sugar drinks and starchy carbs. Added more cardio to the strength training I was already doing. At the end of 3 months i had cut out most carbs and was eating mostly eggs and red meat and had lost about 15 lbs.. In August, went 100% carnivore (animal meat, fat and water). Found it was easy to reach satiety and found it difficult to consume more than 2,000 calories a day. By November, had lost 45lbs, A1C dropped from 5.8 to 5.2 and my waist size had decreased from 41” to 31”. Body composition changed a lot from ~34% body fat to 15% body fat by eating only animal protein and animal fat. To me, animal meat and animal fat is the best medicine to cure bad metabolic health.
When you have an understanding of macros, this comes as no surprise. Ntm, protein also does not have 4 kcal/g. Thermodynamics in a lab, is much different than the thermo/chemical dynamics that are happening within our bodies. The caloric makeup of protein, depends on the x% bioavailability of that choice protein, and the gluconeogenesis that comes for the y%. The direct conversion of x to body tissues, not only leads to faster weight loss, it leaves less caloric excess at the end of the day.
My best advice for pronouncing Yves is to watch the movie Sahara! Also killer use of a song and visual to boost your frame of mind: I like to dream, yeah, yeah, Steppenwolf, Magic Carpet Ride. Surf your way out of the desert. Some people walk, some people dance. It's just a form of motion after all. The Fixx. Switchback, don't turn back.
This is my problem too, especially with intermittent fasting. xDDD I started adding the unflavored protein powder to pretty much everything, to make sure I'm hitting at least my minimum intake goals every day.
Its amazing to see so many studies coming out confirming what I started doing with my body 15 years ago. I eat omad mostly. I fast regularly. Sometimes 2 days. I eat mostly meat, low carb veggies. I have cut out seed oils because once I tried keto the first time, the chronic horrible debilitating heart burn I had, so painful it brought me to tears.. was gone in a week. I don't even feel hunger anymore, haven't for well over 10 years now. Completely fat adapted and I can just randomly decide to fast for multiple days and I feel absolutely no different. Always the same energy. Longer fasts need electrolytes but that's it. I am currently on a long fast, and aside from getting up too fast and being dizzy this morning(not enough electrolytes) I feel fantastic. With all the meat I started eating too, I just bulked up with muscle not even having to exercise. It was like an extra 7 or 8 pounds but you can tell. my neck is like a tree trunk now. Almost as if we are meant to fast and eat primarily meat..go figure. I was doing caloric restriction diets before I decided on this. with tons of exercise and salads and veggies and nothing really changed. First few months on keto, even with overeating I lose like 30 pounds. We are all told the lie that a calorie is a calorie, but there is such a difference between calories from carbs, and meat and fat. Nutritional density, ease of digestion, insulin etc.
@@tropicaoptica Uh huh. Okay. So this might work on other stupider people, but I know how many calories are in fruit. So you're telling me. Lipase is the enzyme that breaks down triglycerides (fat burning) for energy. It is inhibited by insulin. The body does not release it when insulin is being secreted to control blood sugar. The insulin reaction to protein by comparison is very moderate.
That sounds like my experience, I was obese in 20198 and switched to a carnivore diet, I didn't have much muscle then but now I probably have the same amount of muscle at a normal bmi and I do just about zero exercise.
I focused on a high protein diet and food tracking: Lost all my pregnancy weight after less than 2 months. Everyone who tells you protein is bad is stupid. hitting a toxic amount of protein takes so much food, it’s almost impossible to do so and over a long period of time.
Who is telling you that protein is bad? If a product has any significant amount of protein it is usually blasted out in bold print on the front of the package. I genuinely don't get where you guys are getting this info.
@@PrideofJeffersonMany people say too much protein is bad for your kidneys or meat is unhealthy. Meat clogs arteries. Whey is bad for your gut. *Many*. Probably the majority of people on the planet. Both claims are false. The first primarily bc it’s impossible to put down that much protein.
IT feels like all this should be knowledge that could be found in a vintage book, like it was common knowledge at one point. Do physical work, eat protein, don't eat too much fuel. Keeping slim and lean is basically all the main risk factors negated.
I lost 60 pounds last summer with water fasting and then eatinf vegetables and meat only, then in September i went back to eating carbs and i gained it all back now and im so mad at myself. Its time to go again now
Ive been plant based (plus occasional fish) for 6 years … lost 55lb(in 13months) .. super fit .. at 66 run 10k/day … recently added 5d/week CrossFit … and have recently added 40g plant protein for a total of 110g (I’m 165lb). Hoping the extra protein will help with the CrossFit.. I have noticed 2 full giant scoops of protein powder in 1 large glass of soy milk plus cocoa powder really is filling. I’m on a 300 kcal daily deficit to get back to 160lb .. and hopefully not lose muscle.
I found curbing hunger completely meant giving the body no schedule on when you eat. I sometimes go two days without eating, and I eat at random times. The hunger most people feel is a ghrelin response to the expectation of food. when the body has no idea when it's coming, you only produce ghrelin when you actually need sustenance. I'm literally on day 7 of a fast, I had a bit of stomach grumbling for about an hour on the second day, but other than that, absolutely nothing. With how easy it this to fast like this once adapted.. makes me believe we are supposed to eat randomly like this. Feast or famine..
I'm just starting carnivore. It's day 6 and I've already lost around ten pounds. Anxiety is down probably 70% so far, and even though I'm sleeping less I'm beginning to feel almost good. Here's hoping the diarrhea stops soon!
I know protein is helping my weight loss. I had gestational diabetes & then developed pre-diabetes. Looking closer at my diet I realized that I was high in processed glucose & fat, but low in protein & especially low in fiber. Balancing my macros has been key. By prioritizing protein of all types, not only First in a meal, but most important, I have dropped 10 lbs in 4 weeks. I'll be cycling between weight loss cycles (lose 10% of body weight at a time) & maintenance cycles (6 to 8 weeks at a time) for perhaps 2 or 3 years until I reach my ideal. I'll be working my way toward an 80% whole foods plant based diet.
Thank you for these peer reviewed studies. I’m also encouraged that I can consume 100 gms a day of protein with the use of whey protein. As a 66 yr old female I found that to be difficult. I am a GLP-1 user.
Clinical RD here! All correct except if you have chronic kidney disease…kidneys can’t handle it…however if you’re on dialysis, ramp up the protein b/c the dialysis washes it out. Be careful and choose diet based on diagnosis as well. ❤ your channel though b/c 90% is true!
Interesting video. The effect of increased protein consumption on older individuals, and those with T2D is particularly interesting. Protein may not raise blood sugar to the same extent as carbohydrates, but it does increase the amount of insulin that the pancreas is required to produce. Surely, this is something to be avoided.
People only get obese from consuming way too many carbs which put the person on a rollercoaster of constant hunger and fatigue. All they need to do to fix this problem is drastically cut the carbs and replace them with more saturated fats and protein. This will drastically lower insulin spikes which store glucose as fat and lower blood sugar which means the A1C (glucose oxidation) will get to a healthy lowered state. Protein and fat are naturally satiating and will make make you lean instead of fat. Avoid plant proteins which do not have a complete amino acid profile and are not metabolized near as well as animal protein.
I am on my fourth cycle of weight gain and loss. I have recorded my food intake and many other health parameters every time I've gone through this. In other words, I have data. Always low carb, 50-100 grams most days. My first loss of 70 pounds resulted in incredible muscle loss, although I discovered this only too late. In cycles two and three, I kept protein up higher, averaging about 130-150 grams per day. This round, even more. 150 is my low goal, up to 200. I am 78, 6'2", weigh 237 with an ideal weight and goal (again!) of 190-200 pounds. In the previous cycles I did a lot of, um, cycling. Incredible sweat and pain in the Florida sun. I lost weight at an average of 8 pounds per month with a typical 1700 cals/day. A lot of will power to not eat more. I am now losing the same 8 pounds per month...with NO intentional exercise! My smart watch tells me I'm walking about 2+ miles per day on average, but that's it. Now I am eating 2100 cals/day with the same weight loss! Protein rules! I may just be fooling myself, but I think I'm seeing some body comp changes for the better, and I know w/o doubt that I am stronger. My chores and projects just keep getting easier. BEWARE! Most discussions and authorities constantly talk about grams per kg or pounds of body weight. WRONG! As he notes here...and I've only heard one other source say this, it's per IDEAL weight or, Lean Body Mass, which although close, are a bit different. (LBM + ideal body fat = ideal body weight.) Otherwise a 400 pound individual would need say 400 grams per day.
After finally sticking to a 1 g protein/lb. of body weight diet for 1 week, I felt significantly better. After 2 weeks, I noticed my hunger was much more tolerable than during my past forays in calorie restricted diets. It’s like a miracle, being free from ravenous hunger! And much easier/cheaper than using drugs. I am not following a low carb diet, either! Just make sure I get the protein and let fats and carbs fill the rest.
Also, it may help to make sure that you add a little fat to it. I always add a little heavy cream or milk, sometimes take a fish oil capsule at the same time.
This is because protein doesn’t really contribute to energy, thus they are not energy calories…. So by keeping calories the same but increasing protein calories you have decreased energy calories. Want to lose fat? Raise protein calorie percentage to 40%…
@@vmoses1979 You actually likely need to use protein powders, egg whites or very lean fish/chicken/meat to hit 40%. I eat about 2100 cals a day and about 220g protein. I eat 4 eggs, 50g of whey, 1 pound of fish, and 1/2 pound of meat every day. The protein is $20 a day, the rest averages $5 (veg/fruit/rice) so I spend about $25 a day on my food ($750 a month). I don’t buy snacks, oils, sauces, desserts, teas, alcohol or condiments, so I save money there. I’m in the SF Bay Area, California for reference.
@@vmoses1979 It isn’t easy, but it’s simple. When you aren’t eating sauces, desserts, drinks, condiments, and snacks the expenses even out. I actually spend less on groceries than I used to, but I do spend more on protein. You will most-likely need a protein powder to hit 40%
@@vmoses1979There is a cost for protein but there are different cost levels. Ground beef has more collagen protein than most meat and is cheaper. This is an outstanding protein source for food cost. Hamburger patties (which is ground beef) without buns as well.
Simple lean mass estimate: Look up your weight based on your height based on a BMI of 25. Take this weight in pounds and multiply by 75% ( 0.75 ). For example I am 6’ tall. My MAXIMUM BMI of 25 is 185 pounds. 185 x 0.75 = about 140 pounds. I eat 1 gram of nutritional protein per pound of lean body mass. So 140 grams. This gives me 560 units of caloric energy at (4) calories per gram. I then eat (200) grams of fat. Fat has (9) units of caloric energy per gram. So I get 1800 caloric units of energy. So I get 2400 ish calories per day. This aligns with caloric energy recommendations for a 6’ man. *BMI is proven metric used by insurance companies to calculate the odds of your death during the term of the policy. It predicts longevity. ** A calorie is a measure of thermal energy. It is a proxy measurement at best for human energy derived from macro nutrients. It is what has been used for over 100 years and is all we have. It is a reference number we can use.
People, I have found out a lot of this to be true, especially through a weight loss approach based heavily along pure egg whites. No one can accuse you of any unhealthy eating practices when you eat those. A 1kg carton of pasteurized liquid egg whites equals 28 large eggs worth of egg whites, yet it is cheaper than 28 eggs in most stores at least here in Canada. Do research and good luck.
Hello, I know you have said before that Chicken isn't always the best bet because of the diet they are fed in commercial farming, what about Turkey? I'm one of those weirdos who prefers turkey to chicken, and I use ground turkey a lot because I can be pretty creative with it and it's forgiving with flavor mixes. Is commercial turkey farming the same as with chickens and I should reduce my consumption of it? Or is it a better option to chicken?
I am trying to increase my protein last few weeks.. it’s hard to eat that much honestly.. I guarantee u the avg person is consuming far below the min requirement… I am stuffed after eating couple eggs and pieces of bacon ..well that’s only 12g of protein !! Trying to add protein shake now .. hoping this helps me feel better and lose weight.. I’m basically carnivore eating like this now.. no room for anything else .. think my stomach has shrunk from years of small portioning on low cal low fat diets
I sometimes struggle too with eating the right quantity of protein as sometimes I’m just too full. I’ve found that bone broth and Greek yoghurt are good options for increasing protein as they’re pretty light.
Yves is pronounced like the English word Eve, ignore the final S. Boirie is pronounced BOOAREE. As a general rule, don’t pronounce the last letter of most French words.
Did anybody find a “hack” for severe constipation on higher protein diet (1G per pound of ideal body weight with sources being all meats). Increases fats and electrolytes. What did you do or try to circumvent that?
There's a few that you can google. The findings aren't consistent though, more needs to be done. But they have found that overall, increasing protein intake, and reducing carb intake leads to increased fat loss. Could be because eating 1000 calories of meat, you need 300, roughly 30% to digest it, but it's also satiating. Improves muscle mass(which in turn increases BMR and thus, caloric needs also increasing fat loss. There's a few mechanisms in which it works. Just haven't had the best studies on it over the years.
No way is protein more satiating than fat. As a Carnivore I have first-hand experience with the different satiation levels of all the different macro nutrients. Fat is with out a doubt the most satiating, with protein next then carbs.
I find protein and fat to be satiating in different ways. Fat is much more satiating in an energy sort of way and protein seems to be satiating in this way that's kind of almost strange. It just almost seems to shut down your need for energy. Now I'm not saying we don't need energy when I'm running up a mountain and down a mountain like I did today. I take tons of carbs but if I don't need energy I try to eat mostly protein.
Me I am really happy to have found Coach Greg Doucette cookbook. Everything goes except it's low calorie dense foods. Because I have more foods to chose from this is something that makes adherence easy also i now know I can stick to it for life. Healthy calorie deficit not a lot because the foods are so filling. High protein Ice cream, anabolic french toast , wraps and veggies, lots of fruits, sugar free pops, low calorie popcorns, low fat meats, homemade protein bars, sp awesome so tasty 😋
I was alive in the 1970s and you hardly EVER met anyone obese. NO ONE ate atkins, carnivore or keto. People did not overindulge like we do. Just because you lose weight when you STOP gorging on sugar and white flour does nkt mean you have to go super low carb to lose weight.
Put way too simply, your body is made of water and protein, so consuming what makes your body helps maintain your body. Whoa. Case solved. Why is there any questions about this? People are dumb.
I think a high protein animal only diet stay away from soy and chemicals. Eating "clean" has huge positive effects on a person diet. Most people eat so many different chemicals a day its crazy. If you think of those Chemicals as pharmaceuticals and how often have you seen pharmaceuticals work against each other and cause all kinds of health problems to people. Now think how many chemicals the average person eats a day with zero studies on how those chemicals work with or against each other. Those chemicals could cause all kinds of problems of health isdues like inflation, weight gain, heart failure. There is almost zero studies on this it's scary.
So weight gain is due to inflammation from eating plants and not eating enough fatty meats. Weight gain is the first warning sign of metabolic disfunction. If humans would go carnivore or low carb keto then their body heals the inflammation from eating fatty meats and not eating plants, and from there the body’s weight returns to it’s normal state. You need to heal the body with animal meat before weight will return to normal. And with a meat only diet like carnivore, you don’t need any supplements. Your body isn’t digesting anti nutrient plants that bind nutrients so not digested. No competition or blocking. So on carnivore all nutrients are absorbed in smaller colon by the colon. Go carnivore!
Reducing protein and fat helped me lose body fat ! I did keto and then carnivore all it did was make insulin resistance worse ! I switched to low fat high fiber and moderate protein ! High fiber real food is satiating far more than the meat and fat I was pounding down !
Not a troll...i had similar experience and became hugely insulin resistant after initial big success with keto...plateaued hard at 6 months and got even more strict with keto and then went carni to no avail. Felt good but could not lose an ounce. It took months of slowly adxing fruit back to diet before cortisol levels dropped...and it was quite tangible, like an invisible weight lifted. Then slowly adding in starches. Its been very challenging. I may try a starch only diet to reset my ability to make and use insulin properly...its gotten better and my blood sugars are trending lower overall, which is good...but still very hard to lose weight. Various symptomss of low thyroid have abated. In hindsight, the 6 month plateau was a clue that i should have cycled carbs back into diet. I suspect anything extreme if continued too long sets of some sort of "survival mode" triggers and downregulates metabolism. Cycle with the seasons, per ayurvedic advice...?
Bear's advice is spot on: Eat fat until you're sick of it, then eat as much lean as you want. That does the job, fat or skinny or in between. Nutrition propaganda is sophisticated. That is, it has been complexified to the point of USELESSNESS.

I lost weight eating 3000 calories a day from mainly tropical fruit.
@@tropicaoptica Uh huh. Okay. So this might work on other stupider people, but I know how many calories are in fruit.
So you're telling me. You were eating like, 5 kilograms of mango's and Papaya's every day?
I couldn't even eat 1 if I wanted to, takes me all day to finish a single pomelo and that's only a pound. Go lie somewhere else. What were you, like 700 pounds? That's the only way eating 3000 calories of fruit would lead to weight loss, because your metabolic rate would be much higher than that.
@@tropicaoptica Yeah, okay. So you know how many calories are in fruit, right? Were you eating 5 kilograms of mangos every day to meet that 3000 calorie amount? Small girl like yourself?
I can't even eat a whole pomelo in a day. Let alone lose weight ingesting 3000 calories when my basal metabolic rate is 2500 and my active amount is about 3000. Whats your BMR? like, 1700? So you're eating double the calories and you lost weight? What, were you like 800 pounds? Or working out 11 hours a day with high intensity cardio?
Why do you come onto the internet to lie?

Lipase is the enzyme that breaks down triglycerides (fat burning) for energy. It is inhibited by insulin. The body does not release it when insulin is being secreted to control blood sugar. The insulin reaction to protein by comparison is very moderate.
That sounds like my experience, I was obese in 20198 and switched to a carnivore diet, I didn't have much muscle then but now I probably have the same amount of muscle at a normal bmi and I do just about zero exercise.
Great video Mike, thanks! 👍
Its time to go again now
Start where you are. The weight will come off again👍🏾 stick to the high protein and low carb approach. Wish you the best
Thats very true about protein to an extent just don’t overdo the fats.
Nice, I was wondering why I was loosing all this weight eating no carbs and all that bacon eggs and steak.
Got back into carnivore in 2022. Lost well over 50 kg as of today!
Keto carnivore diet helped me lose over 50 pounds. Have less hunger and more energy.
Good for you!!! I need to drop 40# sad to say I let myself go
The weight loss was great but sleeping thru the night and waking up with no aches or pains was something else. After just a few days at that.
How do you get so much protein in , when you're not hungry? Also they say don't eat if not hungry..Thanks
Thanks Mike.
Great info and explanations!
Everytime I was eating high in protein and low in sugar I had a normal bodyweight and my overall feeling was way better.
I've never been a big fan of whey protein because of the sugar content, but protein requirements mean i think i will give it another go.
Can you clarify which whey protein to consume for those who tend to get gas from it? Thank you!
Whey isolate doesn't give any of the "side effects" that normal whey gives. The isolate doesn't have any lactose in it.😊
Also, it may help to make sure that you add a little fat to it. I always add a little heavy cream or milk, sometimes take a fish oil capsule at the same time.
This is because protein doesn’t really contribute to energy, thus they are not energy calories…. So by keeping calories the same but increasing protein calories you have decreased energy calories. Want to lose fat? Raise protein calorie percentage to 40%…
40% is not easy and is pretty expensive. Will you get the same results if you use protein powders to up the percentage of protein consumption?
Simple lean mass estimate:
Look up your weight based on your height based on a BMI of 25. Take this weight in pounds and multiply by 75% ( 0.75 ).
For example I am 6’ tall.
My MAXIMUM BMI of 25 is
185 pounds.
Carnivore/ketoviore helped me lose 70 pounds and I reversed my pre diabetes🙏🥩💪🇺🇸😎
Thanks❤
Hello, I know you have said before that Chicken isn't always the best bet because of the diet they are fed in commercial farming, what about Turkey? I'm one of those weirdos who prefers turkey to chicken, and I use ground turkey a lot because I can be pretty creative with it and it's forgiving with flavor mixes. Is commercial turkey farming the same as with chickens and I should reduce my consumption of it? Or is it a better option to chicken?
People say if you eat lean protein then you will succumb to rabbit starvation. What about obese or overweight people?
Down 7 KGs , 9 KGs to lose . Protein is the go for me 👍
I’m trying to get an idea and I have put it in a calculator online BUT I need about a gram of protein for every pound I desire to weigh?

💪🏻protein first!
I am just concerned that whey protein has a unsafe level of sugar for diabetics
Did anybody find a “hack” for severe constipation on higher protein diet (1G per pound of ideal body weight with sources being all meats). Increases fats and electrolytes. What did you do or try to circumvent that?
Absolutely amazing straightforward information!!

Where is the study that shows protein is thermogenic? Ty
Eat more protein study yourself and find out
Do a google search for "thermogenic effect of protein," a study on PubMed is the first hit for me.
Thanks esp for the obesity part

Its actually fat that fuels weight loss
Hit your protein and potassium requirements and you won't crave sugar 🎉❤😊
Why are old people afraid of protein?
Me I am really happy to have found Coach Greg Doucette cookbook. Everything goes except it's low calorie dense foods. Because I have more foods to chose from this is something that makes adherence easy also i now know I can stick to it for life. Healthy calorie deficit not a lot because the foods are so filling. High protein Ice cream, anabolic french toast , wraps and veggies, lots of fruits, sugar free pops, low calorie popcorns, low fat meats, homemade protein bars, sp awesome so tasty 😋
as long as it does not keep your insulin spiked through out the day. sounds good
I was alive in the 1970s and you hardly EVER met anyone obese. NO ONE ate atkins, carnivore or keto. People did not overindulge like we do. Just because you lose weight when you STOP gorging on sugar and white flour does nkt mean you have to go super low carb to lose weight.
Yves pronounced Eve, Boirie pronounced like choir-rie with a B
Put way too simply, your body is made of water and protein, so consuming what makes your body helps maintain your body. Whoa. Case solved. Why is there any questions about this? People are dumb.
Some people are just too indoctrinated in the carb/sugar train unfortunately.

WAIT WHAT? No wonder I ended up in the ER in hospital after going carnivore diet for 1 month. Male 110lb(50kg) at 5ft11’ (1.8m)

Reducing protein and fat helped me lose body fat ! I did keto and then carnivore all it did was make insulin resistance worse ! I switched to low fat high fiber and moderate protein ! High fiber real food is satiating far more than the meat and fat I was pounding down !
Trolling lies
Lol is this Google AI?
Nice try FDA
This is interesting...thanks for sharing your story.
Who says protein is bad. Seems that you are setting up a strawman to sell your products. Real classy.
Now everyone is carnivore😂 new keto there is always a study to support the new trendy diet just don’t be a pig people and eat healthy
