James Cameron is phenomenal. The CGI looks so good, especially when you compare it to the first film. You can really see the advancements that have been made.
Even by today’s standards, the first film’s effects are phenomenal, but they definitely look even more so here. I have a feeling this is going to be the most visually breathtaking blockbuster of the year; if it doesn’t take home the Oscar for best visual effects, the academy is stupider than they already are

doubt it. back then, Avatar was a marvel that had never before been seen on the big screen. These days tho? The market is saturated with movies using this tech. To say it will surpass endgame is ridicolous
edit: i was wrong, endgame hasn’t surpassed Avatar, but my point stands regardless

First one is good. Not great. It was a 3D wonder fest that had some good story qualities. Most were too familiar and overdone for it to mean anything special to me. This one looks to be more of the same.

I swear that 10,000,000 percent of Avatar Fans are very excited for this movie and 20 perfect of people that are not interested, including my twin brother. A lot of people are not interested in the sequels ever since James Horner a Composer that did the Music of the first Avatar passed away a very long while. Oh well. We can't change the past, only the future.

apparently the blue guy with the gun is actually the colonel, hes confirmed to be alive and a prominent villain throughout the 5 movies so the military operation hes running with the humans are going to be the bad guys, there does appear to be one human with jake tho, im intruiged to learn about him

What about Margot Robbi in Suicide Squad. She does also all her underwater stunts by herself. I can´t wait for Avatar 2. BTW : As far as i know. 3D without 3D glasses. Motion Capture and Performance Capture come together+ a special CGI for Underwater shoot´s !!!
