I'm Turkish and first time in my life, I was able to travel to United States for a business trip. I had that childish excitement since I was about to walk in the streets that I drive in Midtown Madness 2 :).
American people are great and It's a major culture. I was able to travel New Orleans, Seattle and San Diego. San Francisco was my final step but I'm sorry to say that. It was a big heartbreak.
-Most of the locals are walking to their homes in a fast pace after 6 p.m and vast majority already remotely working and never leaving their houses. After 6 p.m you start to experience San Francisco v2.

- The locals that I had the chance to talk with stated several times that cities demographic changed significantly in past 4-5 years because of major homeless import and post-Covid 19 effect of people's daily life.
I hope things get better for the Americans since regardless which political wing they are supporting, 99% of them really loves their country and they are great people, but I can easily say that something is not right, and it must be hard to see this kind of brutality for them.

The vast majority of the country is not like that, it's only a few places.
If 99% of Americans actually loved their country, this wouldn't be happening. The tragedy is that most Americans don't care, and the 10% that absolutely despise the country are running wild in the streets (and in political office), burning it down. Ask them if they love their country.

@@Tony_Man You're right, they spend it on letting police officers sit around and do nothing while accruing overtime and making $300,000 per year. Most city budgets are going almost entirely to the police department and bankrupting them.

It's a liberal state. They punish police and reward criminals. If one of the 5 police do arrest someone, the liberal prosecutors let them go so there's no point anyway
Judging by the comments police there got defunded, thus resulting in these animals doing whatever they want.
They have been defunded reduced and laws were changed that the police virtually can’t do their job, if they arrest someone the district attorney will just have the criminal released. One law for example is police aren’t to pursue suspects or thieves if the amount of stolen goods is less than 800$, should someone else try to stop this person like a clerk or cashier they will likely be prosecuted and fired, so a place like LA or SF the attitude from people is to ignore and forget it.
San Francisco and Los Angeles are very similar have high crime are both dirty (San Francisco has a lot of poop on the street due to homelessness) rent is extremely high and there’s a lot of drugs due to being next to the border so gangs get drugs from cartels. That's the fun part: *there basically is no police in San Francisco.* It's to the point that the city flat out tells businesses not to call 911 if they're being vandalized. A lot of businesses are refusing to pay city tax as a protest, and any who could afford to left for greener pastures.
