I backed all three of these games and I love them!! Just a side note about the dice rolling: You MUST roll the dice on your turn but You can actually roll them AFTER you have collected cards from the middle so you can gain their effects. Hinted at in rule book.
Wow, considering I own this on a t shirt, I'm surprised it's actually a pretty good little game! Might even be a good welcoming game for people who like these irreverant themes more than the more typical welcoming game fare.
The game arc is very realistic, you think a demon will pop up every time you try to summon it in the real world?? It took me at least three attempts before I got one to appear, and it turned out to be my ex. So don't be too sore on this game because thinks don't run as smoothly as you would like at the start. As for me, well it looks like it would be a great wee game to play during the tea break at our local prayer group, I think I'll take it along next week! 👿😂
This was also my favorite of the three. I think it's replayability will decrease just because it's easy and Short. I find myself playing multiple games in a row. Best part is how funny the cards are.
I just got this game for my b-day and I didn't realize how it played like Machi Koro or Valeria: Car Kingdoms (Valeria being one of my all-time favourite games)
Looks like Machi Koro but cleaner and streamlined. Removing the jump from one die to two dice means that you don't need to segregate early game vs late game cards, which in turn allows you to have a simple single market deck and just put the focus on building your tableu. Sacrificing cards to put demons into play means that you're unlikely to have more than 10 cards in front of you, keeping the table from becoming too crowded. Gonna have to find a copy!
I wanted to like this but after 2 games it has a few fundamental flaws I can see killing it's chances of getting back on the table. a) it's very easy for unlucky players to be completely locked out from being able to play if the dice just dodge all their numbers b) while far from fatal, the cards are kind of huge so it takes up a lot more room than you'd expect from such a small game :o I kind of feel like there should've been a pity mechanic to stop players that are having a bad streak from basically being removed from the game :s
I received the Kickstarter of these 3 games. I really liked Summon except it seemed there was a game-breaking demon in there that lets you steal other demons. The rules don't say how you can get more demons if yours are stolen, yet it does mention what to do "if the demon pile runs out" we didn't know if we were supposed to keep drawing demons, summon random ones or what.
I now question all those Zee Garcia Arcadia Quest figures that were always given out as Dice Tower awards show consolation prizes. Images of the out of print dark lord.
The title and trope alone makes me watching this. Looks not too bad... I mean bad (deamons) but good... oh so confusing. I think Zeevil caught me again.
So it's Machi Koro with a satanic theme. Whatever. Some will love this "retro" artwork, I don't. There have been great artists for centuries. If any of these games cost more than $10 then that's a rip-off.
Of course Zeevil would be reviewing this one. 😉
I feel a T-shirt might be needed for our new understanding of the Dark Lord Zee.
Tom just mentioned that Zee likes demonic themes yesterday. It’s almost like he knew this was going up 😉
This is a very Zeevil review
I’m pretty sure he did know…
Zeevil showing us his games 🤣
On principle alone, I'm going to support this publisher. Even easier with a Zee Garcia seal of approval. Thank you for reviewing this!
On what principle?

Demonic Machi Koro, excellent!
Zeevil indeed.
You explained it simpler than it reads. Thanks dude!

I think I need this shirt!
How many cards can you buy on your turn? Like if I have 9 souls, can I buy 3 animals or just 1?
Looks surprisingly good. Doubt anyone at my church small group would be willing to give this a whirl though 😅

Hilarious cover, which I believe I have seen as a t-shirt. Not sure what my family will think of the theme, but looks fun.
ZEEVIL!!!

ZEEVIL is at it again!👿
Emperor Zeevil!
Hilarious fun! Thank you for bringing this to my attention! Haha!
Zeevil!

I love this. I just do. This sounds so awesome. Also - there have been shirts for years! There's a player upgrade! :D

If you like machi koro, would you like this?
Sounds like a reskinned Machi Koro. Not a bad idea.

I predicted the order of Zee’s preferences for the three games based solely on theme. Maybe Zee really IS wrong!
Well, no surprise that you like this game....you are Zeevil!!!😆

When you lose a demon for any reason, you draw another demon to ensure your chance of a win. It's hinted at in the rule book.

From watching the three reviews, it feels like this trilogy should be called the 'juxtaposition trilogy'.
He needs a new intro song "Zee Garcia voice of evil"
Did they base this game on a t-shirt lol? That art is a t-shirt from years ago on threadless, I guess they commissioned the same artist?

I thought it would be cooperative.
What! Zee like a random chance fun game. It must be because of the devils.
I like this game too. Ors surprisingly fun.
an evil version of Machi Koro?
Very Disturbing
Why?
I know! It's awesome! :D
@@freakyzed8467 Making light of a dark and evil subject is a dangerous path.

You big woof
Just the name alone is a no buy

Shouldnt joke about it tho
About what? Summoning things that aren't real?
I wonder if Aquaman would take offense to a game featuring the loch Ness monster.
