Back in 98, I bought a 64 Bel Air from my friend for $800. It had a 400 SBC and a TH400 that someone had put in it. Had no rust that I seen on it. Interior was all original and in perfect condition. It had been repainted a metallic blue.
Had it for a summer than sold it to get some parts for my 78 Z28. Kind of regret selling it now.
Man I would too! Lol
I just blew an hour watching this but it was worth it. I was on stand by at work anyway. Seriously. I enjoyed this.

My one of my best friends from High School has one, paid $75 dollars for it in 1987 when we were 15 and still has it today. His is white and a 4 door with green interior, it now has a green laced roof the same color green wheels with the Chevy truck center caps and the interiors been redone the original green color. It's a SHARP car. He replaced the engine a few years ago but I'm not sure what he put in it, but it had a 230 in it then and I believe it's got a 305 in it now.

I saw this movie on UA-cam for the very first time back in 2010, and was FLOORED because it played out similar
to this bizarre dream I had back in the Fall of 1989, as a result of reading The Hardy Boys 1st in original mystery series, "The Tower Treasure.

Daggum... I had been driving (not legally) for over a year and had owned my first vehicle (81 El Camino) when Puddin was born. Dang. I was 15. Got the 'mino when I was 14. In Mississippi they don't care too much about underage driving as long as you stay outside of the city limits and live out in the county.

Find you some KOIL PENETRATING OIL, and by a gallon of it. Dosen't take much but koil breaks engines lose better than anything I've used. Not cheap but dang worth its weight in gold.

What's the width of the bed top on that little pickup? There's a trailer made out of one coming up for sale at an auction here and I wonder if a 6 foot cap off a Ranger or S10 or what have you, will fit it.
15 years ago I sold a '58 Chevy sedan delivery that we ended up sawzall across inside the wheel houses in the back and picked up and carried the shell onto the buyer's trailer. Frame was rotted out under the cowl and in the rear. He got a full size model car kit body.
He did build something with the car, because he emailed me up like a year later for help registering it.
I’ll have to look on my next day off. Assuming I can remember lol

I always had a few extras, of course I took the ones she had almost wore out, so I didn't get into much trouble. I was born and raised in Enid, Okla. Moved to Oregon in 1974, wish I was still in Okla.

My mom had a green 64 Chevy and I dated a girl who had a blue one. One of my life's regrets is not buying the white one from next door. He only wanted $75 for it. Of course, that was in 70s dollars.

All the electronics that these engines rely on will be kaflooie before the engines actually die of metallic failure, and no replacement magic boxes will be available, because the newer cars will have even more "advanced" magic in 'em. Variable valve timing based on some non-obtainable electric ouija board? Uh-huh.
