Here's a tip: cut a small piece of small diameter heat shrink tubing and place it on the eye of the hook. When you head the head prior to powder coating, the tubing will shrink and keep the powder coat out of the eye. Edit: it should read "heat the head" 😝

This showed up late in my videos. Crack pipe? When I bought my copper scrub pad, I thought it was just a copper scrub pad? ;-) Mine is in a tall pill bottle. You are quite right; it’s really useful.

I made mine out of a dollar tree salt and pepper shaker and they had the copper scrub pads as well! Awsome Hack!
