I have been using this material for years. My wife likes to make bracelets made with that. She bought a big spool of it that was too big to go through the holes of her beads. So I have been using it for scud and grub bodies for years. Any color layer under neath it will shine through. From glow in the dark pink nail polish to light pink yarn wrapped as a sub body.
Because it is round you can follow it with Ostrich herl, peacock herl, or similar fibers. Laying it in the valleys between the humps.
I do often put a coat of clear nail polish over it just to bind it all together. There are a hundred uses for this stuff. And it comes in a large variety of sizes.
