Looks awesome, i did something similar for a Tomix train layout. But i used multi color strip lights. The lights do add a lot.
Backlit looks supercool for some night racing/24 hour stuff

translucent 3d resin is the way forward for that sort of thing I think... might ahve a go later in the year
