  • Clydach Murders
Deborah Thomas (Dai Morris’ Sis) tells her side of the story
In 1999 in the small Welsh Village of Clydach just outside of Swansea three generations of a family were brutally murdered
The community were shocked and demanded answers and not long after the murder there were 3 prime suspects who looked to have motive and evidence stacked up against them
The problem was the suspects were all Police Officers within the local force and although 2 were arrested and questioned they were released on bail with no further action
This left distaste for all living and working within Clydach & over a year later the Police said they found the man accountable of the crime
Dai Morris was known to the Police and although he was no angel his friends & family members were shocked at the thought it was Dai, but the evidence the Police had showed it was him.
He was sentenced to Life in Prison.
Now over 20years later and with the recent documentary ‘Murder in The Valleys’ on Sky, public interest is on the rise.
Dai Morris died in Long Lartin Prison over a year ago but the family hasn’t give up on clearing his name. They say he’s innocent & if you haven’t watched the documentary I suggest you do to see why.
    It’s SHOCKING!
Did Dai Morris really do it? Or was it another miscarriage of justice by South Wales Police 🧐
Tune in Sunday 12PM to hear Deborah’s version of events

I grew up with Dai. A tough man and a bit of a handful he was ! Murderer of two women and two little children he was not! Stitched up like a kipper! Two families broken, whilst the killers are still out there walking free! And we all know who they were!
Another injustice by SWP! I know what they were like back then because I was wrongly committed of a crime I did not do or could not have done! SWP got a long history for stitching people up! R.I.P. David and let's hope these killers are brought to justice! My sympathy goes out to his family and I hope they get the justice and closure that themselves and Dai so rightly deserve!

@06hurdwp What was his motive mate???? Because according to the police and prosecution his motive fir the murders was he was refused sex by Mandy! So tell me why would he turn up at the house half hour before she came home and murder her mother,he must have thought to himself Mandy is going to refuse me sex tonight so I think I will go and kill her mother before she arrives home! Both the Lewis brothers were seen in the area and the only one who had a spare key to that house was Alison Lewis! There was no evidence of breaking and entering! And no way could Dai get in that house without breaking in!!! Mandys mum Doris was bed ridden,so who opened the door to him! A friend of mine who witnessed Steven Lewis walking away from that scene just after the fires were started wasn't even called to court! She even picked him out in a line up in Morriston police station! I could tell you alot more but I haven't got time.e to write a book!! I also know them twin brothers and they are a pair of evil C##ts who are very notorious bullies and they were even feared and disliked by their fellow work colleagues! FACTS THAT I CAN PROVE!!!!!! SO BOLLOCKS TO YOU! IT DONT TAKE A SHERLOCK HOLMES TO WORK THIS ONE OUT!

to many questions 😢Efit , handprint , dna on matches , video tape , sightings from natural members of the public , withholding forensics ... leaving the scene , losing evidence, removing light bulbs (how anybody or normal person would know something like that ?? come on like & we only know from this case ) changing there stories, motives , no reports from new forensics tests ??:/ the list keeps goin its absolutely abysmal 😢 & especially with new advanced technologies still withhold & refuse to have it out & test everything again as it should ... only 1 reason youd hide or dont release something & its because your afraid of the outcome 😪 RIP Dai Morris 🙏

  • @craigdavidmack

And the prosecution also said that David’s motive was because Mandy rejected his advances that night.
Yet the murderer had already killed Doris before Mandy got home and changed a fuse!. 🤔
None of it points to David. More towards a jealous person, and also symbolic that a sex toy was left in her.
I totally believe now as I did then that they had the wrong person.
Not right and it’s not fair.

Inspiring woman Debra and always on the money. She is right...justice denied for EVERYONE in this case. Its an absolute appalling disgrace and it MUST be exposed. NONE of us are safe when murderers can walk free and the innocent can be stitched up. Nobody ever said Dai was an angel. But the barbaric nature of this massacre and the symbolic gestures made at the crime scene, coupled with the ability to forensically clear the evidence makes it absolutely clear Dai was not the perpetrator. It is a truly horrible denial of justice for the Power family and ruined so many other lives in the process

Shit representation is what got Dai convicted in the end it seems. First with Hutchinson who had a deal with Stephen Lewis not to implicate him and secondly Gareth Rees who was just hopeless and didn’t have a clue. Any good solicitor could have proven there was major doubt in the case against Dai given all the information they had against the Lewis’s and the little the prosecution had against Dai. Shocking.

The Brian Koburger case in Moscow Idaho reminds me so much of the Dai Morris' tragedy. 4 victims, the accused nowhere near the scene, the police and state not releasing evidence, and the biggie, Dai's gold necklace in a pool of blood at the scene, while in Moscow it was Brian's knife sheath left next to one of the victims. It's like Moscow Pd are twinned with South Wales Police! Dai was a thorn in the side of SWP, might be the same for Brian and the MPD. Either way, it is a travesty that people deemed easy targets are locked up, and the real perp/perps are free as birds. It's an insult to the victims and families in both cases. Disgusting and heartbreaking, I only hope that Brian's story doesn't end the same way as Dai's 😮😢
