I was part of an earlier battle against this very peninsula. It made it very hard to hold onto scuttletown, which as a t1 base was under constant arti fire and had to rebuilt every 20 minutes. I built a bunker base north-west of scuttletown as a backup spawn, some 400 meters from the peninsula's artillery, but the colonials got very lucky with their wind and managed to destroy its defenses, leading to it quickly being overrun by tanks after scuttle once more fell.

True. Honestly both side tend to over extend a lot. I think it's because people that want to fight and get into combat heavily outweigh those that like to build up defenses. So you have a lot of situations where a side has over extended and then lose all that they have gained the next day. Build your gains people!

As a completely new player I got to learn all the basics of frontline battle from my fellow wardens and it was fun to see some incredible players show up everyday on the same front to push back the colonials.. only to have our attempts at taking Scuttletown bombed into oblivion by the 150s at the Gibraltar base. I managed to pour some 40 hours into that back and forth between fort rictus and scuttletown in about a week. Sadly, I missed that last battle but damn it was a good fight right up until the end.
Was part of the start of one of the first invasion waves of scuttletown. The 5th with the help of I think it was the 193 artillery leveled Scuttletown with a few artillery pieces that opened up for a push of a mix of infrantry and tanks. In total I think we in the 5th sent about 500 shells and only stopped when the wind turned against us so that we couldt hit anything we hadnt already raised to the ground.
Been fighting Endless Shore - Reavers Pass this war. Scuttletown was a big slog this war. Great back and forth exchanges from both sides. From someone who's lead arty a few times: The town hall really isn't the priority unless you can get it quickly. Once you're opponents figure out what you're doing you have to give up. Repairing town halls and bunkers is quite Bmat efficient, so it's a horrible resource trade for the arty. You're probably just going to spend hours blasting all your ammo without ever killing the target. You need to shell the combat. This way it's much harder for them to get any organized infantry pushes, and their tanks will keep getting tracked. Once you have them pushed back you start shelling whatever defenses they have to save all the lives that would be wasted assaulting them head on. Once the battle is pressuring their spawn room, then shell it, with the center of fire a bit behind it to minimize friendly fire and make life that much harder for enemy logi. Just some tips from someone who's lead many arty ops in the year and a half I've been playing. I've also seen arty spend 4+ hours shelling a town hall without killing it.

Closest I've had to this when I was new, was the good ol fashioned partizan relic bases(CV's werent faction locked back then, so parti could find one with loaded with bmats and rebuild a relic they destroyed).
also at one point there were two titan class battleships just trying to stop the infantry pushing up the bridge but we some how beat them back with mortars
Seein that base was crazy, had a good time there. You musta walked into scuttletown (gibraltar still stands) at the same time as me Oh we were there together! I (and others) went to terminus to stop an enemy longship (the battleship that helped yall was the one that finally came to help terminus) so fun to watch it all play out and how you had a swell in numbers when we finally secured everything again
I saw that in the legion we have mass tank but mass lacking of 40mm and 68mm. So we have useless tanks. In ash field, last time that I got their, 60 tanks in the reserve but no 40mm or 68mm
As a Warden, I helped supply Scuttle with shirts, bmats, and rpg's for 5 hours trying to help the assault. My regi then decided to bring skycallers and as we were about to depart from Morgen's, that arty hill was taken, so we used them in the initial assault into Terminus. GG's that fight was ongoing for weeks and the last 3 days of it were really fun

Closest I've had to this when I was new, was the good ol fashioned partizan relic bases(CV's werent faction locked back then, so parti could find one with loaded with bmats and rebuild a relic they destroyed).
Ha! I think I remember those days a little. The constant tapping of territories especially during low pop hours. So much "nightcapping" lol.
also at one point there were two titan class battleships just trying to stop the infantry pushing up the bridge but we some how beat them back with mortars
Ha! I didn't know there was two of them! I thought we had just the one!
@@RobertLovesGamescolonial navy first appearance in a decade? I didn’t think collies knew how to build boats?
lol savage!
Last stands are the greatest battles this game has to offer. Nothing feels better then holding on by a thread of hope
Agreed! So much fun!
🫡So many "hell yeah" moments. Nice work, boys. We're all proud of you.
A colonial comeback war? Inconceivable!
One day we will see one! Maybe it will still be this war :D Don't the Wardens have family or something to go see with the holidays? ha
Seein that base was crazy, had a good time there. You musta walked into scuttletown (gibraltar still stands) at the same time as me
Oh we were there together! I (and others) went to terminus to stop an enemy longship (the battleship that helped yall was the one that finally came to help terminus) so fun to watch it all play out and how you had a swell in numbers when we finally secured everything again
Love how Westgate that I played at still holds. Hopefully it will hold the position forever!
Colonials on the west side are doing a great job! Keep up the good work!
my friend told me that a box is harder to push when it is up against a corner
wise words
Those are some wise words! Thanks for sharing that!
Cutlers "balanced" as they should be. GG on holding as long as possible boys!
lol! GGs! Was a fun one!
I saw that in the legion we have mass tank but mass lacking of 40mm and 68mm. So we have useless tanks. In ash field, last time that I got their, 60 tanks in the reserve but no 40mm or 68mm
Sounds like we need to get to the factories and pump out some ammo for these tanks! I will work on this tonight!
Ben MPFing as much as possible lol it’s just sooooo expensive lol
As a Warden, I helped supply Scuttle with shirts, bmats, and rpg's for 5 hours trying to help the assault. My regi then decided to bring skycallers and as we were about to depart from Morgen's, that arty hill was taken, so we used them in the initial assault into Terminus. GG's that fight was ongoing for weeks and the last 3 days of it were really fun
BlueLaminate made a video about this the other day called "the siege of gibraltar"
Always fun to see multiple views of the same battle.
I watched that one and noticed he was on the same front when I was as well :D I love seeing the other perspective as well! Now we just need each of us to be on the opposite faction and the same battle. It has happened once in battle for westgate. But I would love to see it more :D
those arty guns still fire in my heart rep PARA
I was the beginning assault of that fortress. Fought for hours then hopped off. Crazy to see I missed the colies push us back. I got on first thing in the morning to see the fortress turned into dust. What a fight
This is my first war, and this was my first front on warden‘s side. Thank you for the experience. Great Battle GGS:)
That's awesome to hear! GGs! And if you have any questions about the game or if you need help with anything feel free to DM me on discord!
@ Thank you:)
We were the last tank standing, turned into basically an emplacement by the end of it, tho as the clips made it look like, we really were almost always repairing our Kranesca lmfao
lol! You really were just an emplacement towards the end ha. Good fighting! GGs!
Reminds me of the Port of Rime lifeline a few wars ago but on a smaller scale
Yep! I love little bases like this that need barge logi assistance to stay alive :D
Collies lost the war, so sad, thought they would make a comeback for sure. GG.
Hope you get well soon, Robert.
It was a good war though! GGs! And yea I’ve been a bit sick recently but starting to feel better!
Always been way to intimidated to give it a proper try, but these videos do make it seem tempting.
Give it a shot! I'm always happy to help new players get started. DM me on discord any time if you have questions about the game or need help learning how to play :D
I wasn't at the siege of Gibraltar, however! I was part of the repeated Colonial counter-pushes to re-take & hold Scuttletown proper from the south!
reavers and kingsstone will be remembered. yall held us for so long
Yes! Like 20+ days? I think just battling over that small piece of land!
3:15 “don’t ask” is a gentleman who appreciates operational security
3:10
That’s me, lol
I was there on this fateful day, leading the men of the 20th Assault Grenediers as we fought until the last. Must we never forget.
Was chunking up that final concrete in deadlands last night
Nice! Hope you got everything cleaned up :D
@RobertLovesGames always fun to play peekaboo with t3 at bunkers thank God for the hv 40 on the outlaw now
i love you i dont want to hate. soooooooooooooo much logy ive spread the love that war. this is alot of focus
Looks like a lotta fun.
It was great! Best battle of war 119!
It was an awesome fight.
Agreed! GGs!
Im a Warden and this Battle was so much Fun 😂
NGL good Job you Green Goblins
Glad to hear this! GGs! It was a fun one!
Oh wow Robert...keep making great videos...BOOM...poor guy
lol! I didn't get to save him!
First war for me, only thing i learned was that wardens get better everything
lol! Better join the Wardens next war then :D
It was one hell of a fight, GG
If we wanted easy war for tiny babies we would have joined the Wardens. Fight to the last!
Love to hear it! We will fight tell the end!
Guess what person from the future here we got all or at least most of that land back and took some Warden land we had a very strong push on the east side of the map a few days ago
Ha nice! Keep pushing the front!
@@RobertLovesGames damn well can try the battle line as of last night is pretty steady we lost a little of our advance on the east but started countering the advance and middle was building defenses and the west was starting to look a little scary again (lack of logi going that way) so when I get on today I hope to see we didn’t get completely run out of the west due to a lack of literally everything
@ just like expected good and bad news in the two farthest west tiles we lost a bit middle stayed the same and on the east side we took back our gains we lost yesterday sooooooooo very very minor victory. But looks like the site of your video battle is seeing action again high allied population
Also just about time you started recording, assuming the time, like 6 people attempted a beach attack around the corner. We all died
Nice! I'm actually surprised the Wardens didn't try to do a few more sneaky attacks from the back or cut off the barge logi more. GGs!
Like i said before war started, collie will loose all big war now with this balance.
I hope you feel better and beat your cold
Though I won't say it's over yet, it has been a great war! And thank you so much I'm starting to feel a little better :D
HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME! 0_0
Thanks! :D
Taking scuttle was a real amazing meat grinder.
Seriously the back and forth was crazy!
GG collie glory to glory to the warden Empire long live [night]
GGs!!
Its been a hard push for us as Wardens, Colonials have done well in defence in a lot of areas
GG Wish I had the game. GO COLIES
GGs!
It wasn't easy to push the colonials that far. They fought well.
Long hard fought battle in Reavers Pass! The last stand in that corner by Scuttle was amazing! GGs!
That was a headache base for us. I was fighting there for a week then gave up and moved to other region😅
I think a cool vid idea would be only the view of the soldiers on the mini map. (Speed up in Timelapse format kinda like a easterly vid)
Hmm interesting! I don't know what a easterly video is. Do you have any links?
@@RobertLovesGames Sorry the channel name is “Eastory” it is a historical UA-cam channel with a lot of WW2 vids
Unfortunate to see the Colonials fall on Able but hopefully the Charlie Collies can defeat the Wardens
I was here and it was hell "a random colonial fighting for who knows what"
Have you heard about....Scuttlebutt?!
This is like hellsreach.
Never heard of it! I will look it up!
Another fantastic video, good story loved it~!
Glad to hear that! Appreciate the kind words!
