It’s was confirmed by the official Japanese Rune Factory account that this game takes place in the same world as Rune Factory.

@@fighterxaos1 Apparently there's a wooly somewhere in this trailer, but I haven't found it. Did see it listed in monster enclyclopedia on the official website's screenshot for the game
@@uprising4c19On Nintendo Japan’s version of the trailer you can see a wooly at 0:25. Also a wooly appears on the official website under “Gameplay” in the “Explore Base Camp” tab at the bottom right side of the page.

There is multiple private servers up rn, and they recently started their own CDN to allow for downloads of the game's data. There's co-op too, it's really the whole experience

Interesting concept. I assume the heroes can't talk so they bond through their actions by working together and such. Would be nice to see a friendship game done that way (though I don't know if it is such a game or not).

I miss that game so much. This game is kinda missing the teambuilding aspect of being able to bring 3 other allies that you can swap though.
A 3D Dragalia game on consoles would be cool!
I enjoyed it but not being able to play it offline kind of ruined it for me. I was never going to spend money on it.

The fact that they took the trope of having the RPG protagonist be silent and built the storyline around it amuses me to no end. I will definitely be checking this out once it's released, if only to see how well they worked with it.
But that’s where the bar is at. I really hope that this makes other developers realize that a silent protagonist is not a blank canvas and it doesn’t help player immersion. It’s a weird trope and it needs to be given attention in the settings it afflicts. GTA Online has done a good (if insensitive) job of crafting a story around a protagonist who is mysteriously, gratingly wordless. I dunno how much bandwidth I have left for any protagonist more silent than Persona 5’s Joker.

Dragalia Lost nostalgia
I think the quality of this game is going to depend a lot on how visually expressive the characters are. We didn't get to see much here, but I'm hopeful. If they can pull off a good "show, don't tell", it would make this a very memorable game.

For a second I saw the title as “Silent Hill” & was so excited.🤣😅 Still look like an interesting game.

God I wish this game had co-op so much. This is the exact type of game me and my friend like to spend all our times playing. I can 100% see her using the red haired girl while I'd use the cool scientist dude. Such a wasted opportunity. 😩
