@@pedrol5004 Strikers already had a different composer and most people universally agree it has a fantastic OST, plus after doing some digging the composer for Tactica is Toshiki Konishi who's done remixes for the Dancing games, composed/rearranged tracks for the PSP versions of the Persona 2 duology, did some battle themes for Shin Megami Tensei 5, and most importantly, did work on P5 Royal's OST including Ideal and the Real (Maruki's Confidant theme), Prison Labor (Velvet Room special battle theme), and others. He's done some solid stuff and the opening which we already have a clean rip of courtesy of the JP website sounds fantastic, so I'm optimistic.

Love persona, love turn based strategy, this is a must buy for me.

That is what I think. I also do not see P3R nor Fantasio releasing date to date on Switch, but I may be wron there. I mean, those do not look demanding at all and PS5R is on Switch.

@@dianbaa they were apparently confirmed to be playable, but it’s not confirmed whether they’re gonna be dlc or main game. Dlc’s the most likely tho sadly :(

Persona 3 Reload doesn’t release until next year and the direct focused on what was releasing this year; we have plenty of time for announcements

Persona 5 really catches your heart with the first game but then proceeds to be milked for 7 years with every spinoff being weirder and weirder. I guess atlus thinks we need persona 5 dancing, persona 5 beat ‘em up, persona 5 tactics persona 5 racing, persona 5 mortal kombat, and so on.
Ok you joke but I kinda want a racing game where the story is you're taking down F1s elitist culture while in riced up honda civics and you team up with a Lewis Hamilton looking dude

@@respectpig3874 You do know this is like the 1 side-game that Atlus and P-studio have directly made outside of P5(R) cause Strikers and the Chinese app are third party. Plus any collab events are developed by those game studios not Atlus.
It's also looking like they've been having more of a focus on modernizing P3 and probably P4. Plus this is literally what they do they did it for P4 as well with a fighting game and dancing game. P6 is coming it's on schedule from what we saw with how the development of P5 went

A little different gameplay but im still gonna buy this, still got all the persona 5 games and the music is still awesome.

@@Edgee_yy We just saw running in the direct games that are more graphically demanding than Persona 3 Reload, like Tears of the Kingdom of the Kingdom came out last month and is way more demanding than the Persona 3 Remake, and P5T has a very similar graphical style and it seems to go just as fine. SMTV came on Switch as well.
My guess is that they are either waiting to announce it later down the line closer to release, maybe cause they have to optimize better and don't know if they'll be able to do simultaneous release on Switch or they are waiting for the next Nintendo console altogether to save the optimization process. I know the switch is showing its age but they just haven't shown anything a Switch can't run.
@@alvo_Roto Fair point. I just assume this as Ay least for me SMTV is hella smaller then Persona5R that eventually got ported to the switch in a microwaved version.

Persona 3 has pretty small places and a procedurally generated dungeon.
And Persona 5 works perfectly on Switch , it's a PS3 game for god's sake.

Although nothing matches Fire Emblem we definitely need more SRPGs in the fold being it’s a tremendous genre.. Although not exactly one per se I wouldn’t mind seeing the masterpiece that is Radiant Historia, as well..

Atlus is probably milking the popularity of the Phantom Thieves and they’ve been porting older games along with creating remakes of them for the newer consoles; I’m hoping they are working on Persona 6 behind the scenes
Because fans increasing demands for HD 4K 120fps Mega grafix and 10 million hours of content per game have forced companies into taking ever increasing amounts of time to create it all and spin off games are easier to do. Also this is just nothing new for Atlus, they milked P4 forever too, P5 didn't come out until 7-8 years after.
Question is: Does this take place AFTER Strikers or in between 5 and Strikers?
So should I pick this up or should I wait for P5T Royal/golden/etc?

I was here for Royal, Strikers, and even Dancing in Starlight, but I'm not feeling this one.
Maybe its the chibi art style and ui design not looking too appealing to me, or because I'm not too big a fan of turn based tactical rpgs. The visuals and animations were a big part of why I loved the original and its other spin offs.
If character moments and story are worth it, I may wait for a sale. Otherwise, I'll think I'll sit this one out.

I'm very sorry Persona 5 Tactica and Atlus. Nothing personal, but since Super Mario RPG got released on the same date as yours, I won't be playing this game at all. I prioritize nostalgia and Super Mario RPG is mega-personal hype game for me since childhood.

Bruh I don't want another persona 5 game on the switch. But I hope persona 3 reload get announced on switch soon.
Why no Persona 3 RELOAD (my reasons):
1. Atlus havent even made the most of gameplay , they made it enough just for trailer , not short gameplay.
2. Atlus just wants to show it in the next direct/they dont even want.
3. Worst version: Atlus wont release P3R to switch (ig wont happen)
Microsoft owns atlus now, I think they're doing a timed exclusive thing. It's only been announced for Xbox and game pass (the 2 things Microsoft makes money from) but the portable and golden re-releases came to everything (steam, Playstation, switch) a little after so it might be the same situation
The game has been in development since 2019. It's perfectly okay for them not to release a game for switch
