With the release of the newest CoD game, a few of my coworkers are actually happy that the toxicity has returned to the franchise. They spent about 15 minutes talking about how amazing it was to hear people yelling insults and screaming, or blaring music obnoxiously. No thanks! I'm through with all that.
Love the WII U, only got into it late 2018, love mario kart online and need for speed most wanted. Working my way through Xenoblade XChronicles, and mass effect 3
Wii U is so underated and is still one of my all time fav consoles. Lego was epic. And so was Mario 3D world. Maybe pick up Rayman, Mario Maker and Injustice? Cool video ;)
Went out and bought a WiiU this weekend and stocked up on most of the essential first party games. Had to drive all over to random stores, called around some movie trading co stores around the country and found some amazing deals like Xenoblade Chronicles X for 20 bucks, Zelda Twilight HD for 49 and most of the library is between 10-30 bucks for the most part. Get this shit now before its too late.
Reaper I still think Star Fox Adventures was poorly criticized. the main reason why people tend to dislike that game is because it’s not your traditional Star Fox game, if it wasn’t for Star Fox Adventures, we wouldn’t have gotten the awesomeness that is Star Fox Assault. I loved the concept of not always being in an arwing but also being able to explore on foot, granted Adventures didn’t have enough arwing sections, but flying your arwing wasn’t the point in Adventures
Fake PewDiePie I don’t think the problems are motion controls. I love the controls on Star Fox Zero because they are something different or not traditional controls and I think that’s the main problem most of the people are not used to new ways to play video games they want the same control on all the consoles and that sucks. I love Star Fox Zero and I think it’s the most underrated game on the Wii U
Try: Super Mario Bros U. It also comes with Super Luigi U. Hyrule Warrios, which I think is one of the best co-player game of the console. Star Fox for Wii U! Ninja Gaiden: The razor edge. Batman I think there were two Batman games that were released for the Wii U.
Dude, i was thinking that Hyrule Warriors is worthless and doesn't have much on Wii U, and you reminded me of the multiplayer... omg, i have to get the game now!
@@Schimnesthai I enjoyed playing it with my brother, he on the TV and I on the Gamepad, we both almost got the 100% I don't remember how many hours we played it.
No Sonic Lost World? Now that game is a hidden gem. It's by far one of the best Sonic games in recent memory and very unique too as it doesn't use the typical formula modern Sonic games have been using. It's a game that could definitely use more exposure with a Switch port.
I loved Zombi U when it first came out. Loved how they incorporated the gamepad with grabbing items from your backpack. Knowing that the game world was still "on" in the background and the fact a zombie could be creeping up on me at any moment was very creepy!
And the fact that if you die then you find yourself as a zombie is pretty cool. Sadly nobody remembers this isn't just a zombie game but a freaking franchise.

Got a confession: i Bought the 2-disc set of Rodea from Gamestop. After playing the wii-u disc, i returned the game and box for store credit....but i kept the Wii disc & Manual :) Thanks, GS.
I agree about project zero. It is amazing. Pokken Tournament...I was hoping it would play like Tekken, but with Pokémon instead. Bit of a shame but I will try to get used to it and figure out how to get the most fun out of it.
Fatal Frame V is a Wii U DIGITAL exclusive, and while the digital only choice has me frustrated, it's still a wonderfully built and spooky game worth playing.
I know that people weren't happy with the Sonic games, but after the patches they're not bad at all. I especially like Sonic Lost Words. I know it's "Sonic Galaxy", if you will, but putting Sonic in a Mario Galaxy type environment is far from the worst idea. Definitely worth checking out
I like my Wii U collection, I'm glad that I got my games for the Wii U (and Wii) early this year when everything was super cheap and the abundance was very high. I basically got every Wii U classic in less than a month with just going to a few Game Stops and mom/pop stores. Even now, I've noticed that if I go to stores and visit their Wii/Wii U selection, it's getting more scarce. Last weekend, I picked up the Wonderful 101 and Captain Toad, which have become pretty rare in my area. (I managed to pick up a sealed 101 for less than 40 bucks though, which I think is kind of amazing.) But I did pay a premium for some of my titles, but they were mostly rarer Wii games. The most expensive being the Metroid Prime Trilogy and Xenoblade Chronicles. However, some of the rarer games for the Wii U will be rising in prices within a year, I think. There's a part of me that thinks only handful of Wii U games are actually going to increase in price, since right now I would say that the Switch has caught up. In fact, I would honestly argue that unless you're drawn to the Wii U for the reasons that I am (I want to play the handful of good quality Wii games, I want the e-store to buy old Nintendo games, and the few true Wii U exclusives like HD Zeldas and Pikmin 3 --the fact that I can play BotW doesn't hurt). But if you aren't motivated by those things, I would say that the Switch is the clear winner by now with it's deluxe releases of almost every (former) Wii U exclusives, its portability, better graphics, huge indie downloads selection, tremendously larger online player base, and the fact that it still has years of Nintendo exclusives that will come out on it. But since those aren't as appealing to me (right now), I'll probably start my Switch collection in a year or so. For me, the Wii U is the console I was actually looking for in 2006 (HD, doesn't require Wii Motes for most games, has new Zelda games), I was a hardcode Nintendo fan who left them in the Wii years because I was so against being forced into motion controls, the lack of HD graphics, the lack of good third-party support, and just how kiddy the whole Wii system felt. I ended up playing New Super Mario Bros, Galaxy, Brawl, and sort of thought about buying one in 2011, but I didn't feel like spending the money. I thought the Wii U sounded great when it was first announced but didn't have the money to afford PC gaming and a Wii U, so I neglected buying one for a while.
Great video as always, dude! My latest video actually dives into all the remaining exclusives for this awesome console. I agree, now is the perfect time to buy some of these amazing games.
Have my wii u since 2015 and only now getting into it in a big way have purchased a zombie u limited edition console, Mario kart edition wii u and a Zelda wind waker console boxed and the standard white wii u boxed console and lots of games extremely underated console love the review of the must buy games Metal Jesus keep on rocking fab review as always
Believe it or not "Cars 3" is totally worth checking out. It's like a mix of Mario Kart and a stunt car racer with speed bonus for tricks and whatnot. Surprisingly worth checking out
I am expanding my collection, buying all of these used; many people are selling off their Wii U games to save for a Switch. I just picked up Super Mario Maker, which i consider to be essential! I am also trying to get all of the Just Dance games for Wii U; it may not be widely known that you can get Just Dance 2019 on Wii U.
love the channels and your videos. Definately need to add splinter cell which looks great on the wiiu. Although playing the multiplayer with two systems doesn’t seem to work anymore which is a bummer. One thing i would like to add about the COD games on Wiiu is if you have two consoles and two copies of the game you can play 4 players and each has their own screen which is an awesome oldschool way to play with everyone in the same room. Lots of smash talk which in person is better lol
ZombiU does a fantastic job of using the gamepad to immerse you in the environment. you should give it some good attention. it's great survival horror.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition is a third-party game for the Wii U. In the Wii U version of TTT2, you can dress up your favorite Tekken characters in Nintendo character costumes and you can use the Wii U GamePad's touchscreen's touch commands to help you perform the game's complicated button inputs. You should check that game out, Metal Jesus!
I found a sealed copy of Devil's Third when I was visiting the Philippines. They had several other sealed Wii u games and older DS titles at the store I visited. It was super cheap, especially for a retail store. I gotta go back and get more. Also, Tank! Tank! Tank! is my Jam. I like how simple/fun it is.
Breath of the Wild on the WiiU is fantastic. I put like 70 hours into it and 40 of them were probably on the 480p gamepad, lol. Love the WiiU, terrific console.
I've been a subcriber of your channel for a couple of years by now, and been wanting to have "MY" latest console ever, which is the Wii U since I can't afford yet to have a NSwitch. First thing came up to my mind is your game recommendations. I love the way you present your videos, it's just gives me a soothing feeling, even though I haven't owned mostly of game consoles. This video finally convinced me to purchased it. I'm a Big Zelda fan and cannot afford not to Play BOTW. Now I'm just waiting for my Wii U.. Thank you Metal Jesus!
Fortunately we should have about a year of advanced notice, based on how Nintendo usually handles these things. I definitely have a lot I need to buy before that happens.
Its probably been said 100 times already, but Bayonetta came as a download code with Bayonetta 2 on Switch. Although in Japan, they got a version with both games on cartridges for the system. No fair! Also, over here in Europe for the Wii U, the double pack for Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 had individual cases for each game. Which is nice!
8:07 I literally choked on my food because dude you tried to hit the brake but you totally got owned by that wall man lol freaking flying through the air like "OH CRAP!" lol
glad you put this out, i jumped online to see what games are cheap, then realized i have every wii u game i will ever want, it really didn't have too many great games
Great video, and I feel the same about all those Battlefield and Call of Duty games. I love playing their campaign modes and then I'm done. Their like very long action flicks made by Michael Bay. Every few minutes there is a giant explosion or you're almost falling to your death, and then suddenly you're in space or in the past or whatever. It's awesome! :) After that I just resell them.
Mario Maker with his book, Star Fox Zero Dual Pack, Xenoblade Chonicles X special edition with his reverse cover, they are a most have for Wii U collectionist.
FreakGeSt Xenoblade Chronicles X Limited Edition (EU) is also nice, comes with a normal case, a steelbook case, an art book, a poster and a map, all in a cardboard box.
Hello from Spain. Did you known that the origianl bayonetta came in Europe with his own box ? When Bayonnetta 2 was launched, there were two packages to choise: Bayonetta 2 (without 1) and Bayonnetta 1 + 2 (each one with their own box and placed together inside of an slip-cover). And yes, the orginal Bayonnetta has been ported to the switch, but as a download only game.
I know this video was made almost a year ago. But if you are still considering WiiU titles to pick up, then I have a list for you. Not all of them are good and some of them have been released on other systems. But they are definitely interesting to check out First party games: - Hyrule Warriors (The 4th game with the Zelda Franchise on WiiU) - Super Mario Maker (The original and WiiU online is still free) - Star Fox Zero (This one will take some time to get used to) - Star Fox Guard - Wii Party U - Wii Fit U Third party games: - Batman Arkham Origins - Darksiders Warmastered Edition - Darksiders 2 - Epic Mickey Power of 2 - Lego Marvel Avengers (or any other Lego game for that matter) - Phineas & Ferb Quest for Cool Stuff - Project Zero (Fatal Frame V): Maiden of Black Water (Although published by Nintendo) - Rayman Legends - Resident Evil Revelations - Shovel Knight (It's not Treasure Trove though) - Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric (Glitchy mess of hilarity) - Sonic Lost World - Transformers Prime The Game

@@kckraze9788 yeah i only play the single player campaigns they're actually great i think i played em all so far.
I beat call of duty 3 I had it on wii
I’m another. The early campaigns were great
With the release of the newest CoD game, a few of my coworkers are actually happy that the toxicity has returned to the franchise. They spent about 15 minutes talking about how amazing it was to hear people yelling insults and screaming, or blaring music obnoxiously. No thanks! I'm through with all that.
tyrantm7 high school never ends for most people
Love the WII U, only got into it late 2018, love mario kart online and need for speed most wanted. Working my way through Xenoblade XChronicles, and mass effect 3
Wii U is so underated and is still one of my all time fav consoles. Lego was epic. And so was Mario 3D world.
Maybe pick up Rayman, Mario Maker and Injustice?
Cool video ;)
You have most of the essentiels, but really missing Sonic: Lost Wold!
Great video!
I loved Lost World, i know most people hate it though, my only gripe with it were the easy boss battles, but i think it's a good Sonic game.
@@Unknown-sp4gi same
i'm starting to wish i didn't trade it out for another wii u game
Kinda like a Mario Sunshine clone
This is perfect timing for me cause I just bought a Wii U yesterday
buranflakes got one recently as well. Nintendo doesn’t lower their prices, but people do.
I've already got one but I should get one or two backups because I really love that system.
i don't buy a wii u because i get it free
I bought my Wii U in 2016. Unfortunately, my local Gamestops never have Wii U games anymore.
Have fun.
Mass Effect 3, Hyrule Warriors, Tekken Tag Tournament and Darksiders are also great games on Wii U.
You're lucky to have found Xenoblade Chronicles X for that price. You should see what the game is selling for now (at least in the US)
Star Fox 0.....it’s basically a reimagining of Star Fox 64, fair warning: high emphasis on motion controls
New Super Mario Bros U
yeah I liked zero, especially the couch coop aspect to it, it wasn't perfect but still fun.. star fox guard that came with it was pretty fun too
Reaper I still think Star Fox Adventures was poorly criticized. the main reason why people tend to dislike that game is because it’s not your traditional Star Fox game, if it wasn’t for Star Fox Adventures, we wouldn’t have gotten the awesomeness that is Star Fox Assault. I loved the concept of not always being in an arwing but also being able to explore on foot, granted Adventures didn’t have enough arwing sections, but flying your arwing wasn’t the point in Adventures
The problem isn't the motion controls, it's the Gamepad. You have to CONSTANTLY move your view.
My WiiU is still hooked up, though my family usually just plays Smash on it. This video got me wanting to play it more and buy more games!
Try:
Super Mario Bros U. It also comes with Super Luigi U.
Hyrule Warrios, which I think is one of the best co-player game of the console.
Star Fox for Wii U!
Ninja Gaiden: The razor edge.
Batman I think there were two Batman games that were released for the Wii U.
City was definitely released on the system, it was the game my console came with back then. It ran kinda crappy though so I stuck with the PC version.
Arkham Origins don't use gamepad, like arkham city.
I've never had a game creep me out the way ZombiU does.
And the fact that if you die then you find yourself as a zombie is pretty cool. Sadly nobody remembers this isn't just a zombie game but a freaking franchise.
Zombi U was my favorite WiiU release. It was the reason I bought tthe console and had an absolute blast playing through it.

7:05 most realistic way to get in a car
I've got 18 wiiu games, 30 Wii games, 12 3ds games, 3 Switch games, 9 GameCube games and two N64 games.
My little Nintendo collection
Buy Rodea! Comes with the cancelled Wii version too.
And play the Wii version not the Wii U version.
Was gonna say this as well. Its dirt cheap now and I feel like it will shoot up in value in the coming years.
A good tip! I have this still sealed, waiting for a chance to play it...
Glad I got that one!
Got a confession: i Bought the 2-disc set of Rodea from Gamestop. After playing the wii-u disc, i returned the game and box for store credit....but i kept the Wii disc & Manual :) Thanks, GS.
Actually the Wii U has 211 physical games (210 if you count bayonetta games as 2 and not 3) across all regions
Pokken Tournament, Star fox zero and Hyrule Warriors would be good to add to your collection. Project Zero also
Pokemon tournament I bought but was not a big fan. I was hoping based off the cover it would be like N64 pokemon stadium 2.
I've got starfox and hyrule warriors
I agree about project zero. It is amazing.
Pokken Tournament...I was hoping it would play like Tekken, but with Pokémon instead. Bit of a shame but I will try to get used to it and figure out how to get the most fun out of it.
Hyrule Warriors Limited Edition (EU) is nice, comes with a really big scarf. I have this version, luckily.
Nathan Brooks Project Zero never came to North America physically, and Wii U is region locked :(
Fatal Frame V is a Wii U DIGITAL exclusive, and while the digital only choice has me frustrated, it's still a wonderfully built and spooky game worth playing.
I own a Wii U, after watching your video I’m going shopping for some games!
Is it like the switch where all the games can be played on the tv while it's docked?
Great timing I literally just dusted off my Wii U
I know that people weren't happy with the Sonic games, but after the patches they're not bad at all. I especially like Sonic Lost Words. I know it's "Sonic Galaxy", if you will, but putting Sonic in a Mario Galaxy type environment is far from the worst idea. Definitely worth checking out
MetalJesus, my good sir. I do not believe you have "StarFox Zero". I'd reccomend to give that some attention.
Shit controls make it a shitty game unfortunately
I like it too. Learn the controls, adapt, and it's good.
Omg you’re hugging just like i hugged my Wii U for the First Time
Believe it or not "Cars 3" is totally worth checking out. It's like a mix of Mario Kart and a stunt car racer with speed bonus for tricks and whatnot. Surprisingly worth checking out
Definitely get Resident Evil on WiiU and Star Fox Zero
Xenoblade was god tier for me. Spent about 130 hours in it, getting the Ares90 mech in it was amazing.
Rename the title. “Buy these games, because after this video there going up.”
😂😂😂😭😭
Not if you have a modded wii u ;)
No shit
You forgot about Batman Arkham origins which is also on the Wii u
Arkham Origins don't use gamepad, like arkham city
Fair but it is on the Wii U
@@Protector1rk yes but only for puzzles and incoming messages which were pretty sweet.
The best game on the WiiU for me is one that did not a physical release: Affordable Space Adventures.
The other I love is Wonderful101.
They need to make a SNES Remix game for the switch :)
Breath of the Wild on the WiiU is fantastic. I put like 70 hours into it and 40 of them were probably on the 480p gamepad, lol. Love the WiiU, terrific console.
Monster hunter 3 Ultimate was amazing on that system!
Just bought Dracula X on the eshop yesterday. I'm surprised it's still up! I thought they closed it a year or two ago.
Fortunately we should have about a year of advanced notice, based on how Nintendo usually handles these things. I definitely have a lot I need to buy before that happens.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is also a must have for the Wii U imo. The Mushroom Battle mode is quite chaotic though but we laughed a lot with the buddies.
You're missing project zero (fatal Frame) 5. My favorite series of all time and the 5 is Wii U exlusive I believe.
That one's real expensive, and unfortunately not that good. I sold it after beating it.
Affordable Space Adventures is fun
The states didn't get a physical version of it
Spiral Creation That game it’s awesome! I think it’s the game that uses the GamePad at his full potential! Great game!
BTW, Wind Waker had three slight variant covers: Foil, Gold tint background, colored background.
What's the difference?
I have the foil cover. It's the best one on opinion.
Who gives a fuck?
@@MrPotteeMouf Peeps that like collecting variants?

The Wii u had many great games people missed out on. It's a good thing they are moving those games to the switch.
glad you put this out, i jumped online to see what games are cheap, then realized i have every wii u game i will ever want, it really didn't have too many great games
I genuinely love ZombiU, I have replayed the campaign so many times.
And yes, the orginal Bayonnetta has been ported to the switch, but as a download only game.
thanks for making them go up more! I love having to pay exorbitant prices for games!
Can you make a video about digital only Wii U games because the Espoo will close soon
Physical version of Project Zero Maiden of Blackwater 😁
Wesley Kokosnoot still really expensive. Both looks good
I still need to download that, loved the demo
I was gonna say this too. He didn't include it because it didn't come out in the US as a physical.

Wasn't it only digital?
@@clochard4074 Nope, They released a physical version the same way they did with SteamWorld Collection (at least it was released in Europe)

Ynow after watching this channel for years... I really appreciate that intro.
I hate it. I always skip it.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. It's like Gears of War only in the transformers universe
*Super Mario Maker!*
That franchise is basically its own universe of complexity.
And tbh you cannot even understand 10% of all the stuff that is going on in SMM2 on Switch if you haven't seen Mario Maker 1 milestone levels!
So I own a japanese collectors edition of Bayoneta 1 and 2 for the switch which has physical versions for both. Also has english which is nice.
After watching this video it makes me realize how much they ported over to the switch
