Tennessee Jet Interview

Tennessee Jet is a one man band, who is as intelligent as he is impressive. I'd been hearing about him for quite a while, and then this summer, I finally got to see him play a set, and trust me he completely lived up to the hype. We met up this week in St. Louis at Old Rock House where he was playing with Jamey Johnson, Ward Davis and Sunny Sweeney .
He has been keeping some pretty impressive company these days, including Cody Jinks, with whom he just released a cover of Waylon Jennings' "Waymore's Blues" . Rolling Stone called it Sludgy and I agree. If you get a chance to see him live, I think it's a great idea to buy the ticket and enjoy the ride.

I had no idea who this guy was until I walked into a cody jinks show in small town Brandon, MS. Jet laid it down with a pocket full of shells... now, the next day I’m searching the web looking for his music.
