The problem with the larger used watch dealers is that the pricing just isn’t competitive. In the last 6 months I’ve bought two IWC pieces and was able to get a better price buying new from an AD (with a nominal discount) vs your site.

I wanted a dive watch and looked around. Settled on the Tudor Black Bay was fortunate enough to get a smiley and I love it after 2 years Ive worn it at work, at home, chopping wood, camping, responding to disasters all over Alaska. I can't thank C&C enough for. great piece that will be me for ever. Now if subs or an Exp II or another good GMT drops in price Ill be happy

After went through all the steps above and my hard-earned money spent, I finally got my F 91w.

LOL. Times are indeed tough if you need to go pre-owned on an F-91W. :-)

@@SocialWorkProfessor Yeah right! You wouldn’t believe what I’ve gone through with my local Casio AD. Total nightmare! But it’s all worth it when looking at my F-91w on my wrist.

Also good to look at these things: has the watch had a service (at the manufacturer’s), and how long is left of the service interval. If it’s due soon, then factor in that cost

Saving up for a Sub. Love to see prices come down a bit! Thanks for the content.

The problem is the time it takes to saving up enough money the price has gone up even more.
For your sake I hope the prices do come down. I’d be curious what the experts are thinking if the prices of Rolex are going to remain high or will they come down sometime in the future.

@@tomnewham1269 The one rule about both Rolex and Omega is prices never come down. The advantage of that is once you buy, you are buying an investment, it will continue to appreciate in value.

@@glostergloster6945 Well the bubble may burst. True I might never see it but that is a risk that could happen with these brands but I don't think Omega prices hold like Rolex does. Anyway there are way better investments out there and that is where I will be putting my money into and not watches.

@@tomnewham1269 True. Todays fad might not be tomorrows but over time they have appreciated. Bought an Omega Seamaster 13 years ago and while it may not have gone up as much as other investments its nice to know I can sell it second hand now for about 40% more than I paid for it brand new. Not that Im planning to sell it. Its not like cars or computers where all they ever do is go down in value over time

This should be a tool on your website. Like a more expansive filter.

ha, while i don't quite agree, i did just get back from Islay my first visit to scotland and I did most of the distilleries there (laph, ardbeg, laga, bunnahbin,), but the best I had and one of the main reasons I wanted to go is Bruicladdich, super fantastic. Laphroaig is good but very one-note.
