Just spent 7 months in Suffolk Virginia, a stones throw from Chesapeake, both in the 7 city’s. It blows my mind that he has a shop there. It’s. Fucking. Rough.
16:50 that was such a bad thing in 3000GT community, thinking that if you spend enough money on parts, nothing will ever break. And then when it does, disappointment and heart break. I blame the shops.
To a degree your right but also people don't help themselves with doing no research beforehand. Yes people do trust alot of these shops but as has been mentioned in this podcast as well as the Nth moto one when you end up using 10 different people to build 1 car it's always going to end in tears
Don't know about the cost of dragracing, but the driver of my rallyteam used to spend €300k+ a year on a season (5 events) 2.0 FWD class. That's with 'mechanics' doing it as a hobby!
It's so sad that people are so enthusiast about cars, spend all this money, and just get taken for a ride by grifters. There's always bad apples in every industry obviously, but I feel like it's always been like that in the car "tuning" world. I guess it's the allure of fast money
Great podcast! Fingers crossed for C8 tcu tuning soon!

Cicio crew is top notch
My favorite part of this interview is how he gets absolutely zero of the aphorisms right. 😂😂
