I watched this entire video while eating lol, goes to show it was a solid video bro 🙌🏼 I was hoping to see all the pictures side by side but still a great video🤙🏼
I went from Nisi square slide which was cumbersome to Freewell Circular VND which was horrible to my favorite Maven Circular magnetic however that’s my personal preference 😂 cool video Spencer 👏👏
Nice vid. I'd stick with the traditional circular screw on filters. I also highly recommend those magnetic filters so I can take them on and off for focus or switch them up easily. I love my PolarPro helix systems! It combines ND and CPL together super easy to use and produces high image quality too.
Yupz! That helix system looks awesome! I was thinking about getting it but it looks like itll increase the overall footprint for all my lenses… and my camera bag be cramped enough already🤣
There is one simple reason why I use square Nisi filters ... No vinghetting ... I may end up getting the Nisi magnetic ones I do like the look of those. Definitely the advantages of the square filters is they give them more even light. In my opinion. There's no imperfections in the square ones. I carry an extra little bag that I need attached to the bottom of my tripod so I can quickly change the filters over if you've got a good system. I think that's the key to it. I noticed that Kase and Nisi now make the magnet ones ... They are probably the go but again the vignetting on the circular folders is the problem and that is something that's sometimes a little bit difficult to fix in post. I have a Ulanzi electric blower. It's USB chargeable so if you get water on the front of your square filter use the blower to blow the water droplets off. Don't use a cleaning cloth that just spreads it. Trust me. I've done this a lot. I do a lot of seascapes probably shoot seascapes three or four times a week.

@@spencerlee808 ah yes, the base plates does take up some spaces in the bag. Also you won't be able to use lens cap lol. Other than that I love them!
